“Taylor and Daniel were amazing! They went above and beyond with Hana!! Even let her keep a toy that she loved while they watched her! Thank you again!!!”

“Jared and Chelsea were amazing with our dogs! We were hesitant to leave our 3 month old puppy for a week as she is still potty training and teething but they took her without hesitation in addition to our other dog. They sent lots of pics and videos and our dogs LOVED getting to play with their dogs the whole week. We are so glad they were in such good hands and we will definitely use them again!”

“Charlene was absolutely incredible. We went on a week trip and left our dog with her and she was on it with updates, telling us how much she loved him, etc. I wasn’t worried one bit about how he was doing. I knew he was having a blast. I am definitely going to use her again, she’s so nice and authentic. You won’t have to worry about your baby with her ❤️❤️”

“Jessie did a great job with my senior pup. She provided lots of updates and was patient with my dog and her need to wear diapers and go outside frequently. Roxy was happy when I picked her up.”

“Anne and her family were wonderful from the the initial meeting, communication before and during the trip, the many unpromted updates on my dog's adventures during her staycation, and just generally a true pleasure to work with! The house and yard are great, they have two dogs who are quite comfortable and accomidating with new and visiting pets, and once you meet with her family I have no doubt you'll feel very secure leaving your special pup with Anne and her family. Can't say enough, but they will be my first call in the future!”

Honey seemed happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We’d definitely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Keri and her resident animals were wonderful with my pup! She sent thoughtful updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. I could tell my dog was having the time of her life!”

About: I've owned 7 different breeds of dogs since childhood and have been fostering for Denver rescues for 3+ years. I typically take in the dogs who've been waiting the longest for a home or who have special needs, including dogs recovering from abuse or neglect. That means I've trained and cared for just about every kind of dog and situation: dog-aggressive alphas, dogs with severe separation anxiety, nervous rescues still learning to trust people again. Every dog is different, and I pay close attention to what each one actually needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I also have my own dog at home, a year and a half old pit bull mix who is excellent with other dogs and very submissive, so she's a great, easygoing companion for dogs I've watched. Beyond walks and belly rubs, I love taking dogs on runs if they've got energy to burn, and I'm just as happy curled up on the couch with a snuggly senior. Whatever your pup needs, I've probably handled it before, and I'd love to help take care of them." I put it after the training/experience paragraph since it's a nice concrete example of your dog-savvy approach, and mentioning her being submissive/good with others directly addresses a common worry people have about boarding with another dog in the house. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day. My own dog is with me constantly, and I build in walks, play breaks, and check-ins throughout the day rather than squeezing them into a rushed morning and evening routine. In my home, dogs have access to a fully fenced yard, plus we're right next to a large park and a 5-minute walk from a dog park, so there's no shortage of space to run and explore. I regularly care for friends' dogs when they travel, so I'm very comfortable managing animals in my own home for extended stays. I have plenty of indoor space too, and dogs are welcome on the furniture unless an owner tells me otherwise. In a client's home, I follow their routine and house rules as closely as possible, sticking to normal feeding times, walk schedules, and any specific instructions so the dog's day stays consistent even when you're not there.

“We have nothing but good things to say about Dawn. This was our first time using Rover for boarding, but Dawn reassured us and took great care of Poncho. She was understanding and aware of his recent medical needs. Poncho got great socialization with Dawn as she would bring him and the crew on many outings. We have even seen some improvement in Poncho's approach towards other pups since he's been home. Thank you, Dawn!!”

We had just moved and our place was very chaotic, but Kristen was so attentive and thoughtful. She noticed we were running low on Freya’s food and even went out to purchase more for us! She also brought in our packages, kept us updated, and was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout her visits. It was such a relief knowing Freya was in such great hands. I truly cannot recommend Kristin enough. 10/10 — we will absolutely use her again and again! ❤️”

“Iuliia was the best! Very kind and attentive. She asked questions where relevant to make sure my cats were getting the best care and followed my instructions to the letter. Will definitely be asking that she watches the cats again next time I need to be out of town. Thank you!!”

“Elise was so great on last minute notice! She followed the care instructions perfectly and my cats seemed to love her while she was there. Highly recommend.”

“Appreciating Ally’s consistency and effort through a big travel period in my life. Even though my cat is… shall we say, difficult?… Ally provides her daily contact that ensures she doesn’t get too stressed/anxious while I am gone. Thanks for caring for Rocky, Ally!”

“I just moved to town recently and didn’t have anyone to watch my cat while I traveled for work. Victoria was absolutely a life saver and was such a wonderful sitter. I’ll definitely be hiring her for future trips.”

About: My partner Matt and I recently had our 14 year old husky cane corso mix named Millie pass away. We had her since she was a small puppy and tried our best to give her the best life full of hikes, treats and love. We're not ready to permanently fill our home, so we are wanting to support other pet parents while they are away. We understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets while away, especially if they are older and have medical needs. We have experience with injectable medication, oral medication, and urinary incontinence. Millie was a people friendly lady, but did not like other animals, so we are very well versed in that sort of aggression and how to handle those situations. I work hybrid-remote and my partner works from home, so someone will be home at all times. A doggy door gives your pet access to a fenced backyard and frequent potty breaks at their convenience. One household's pet(s) at a time ensures your pet(s) receives our full care and attention without the stress of unfamiliar pets. We live in a safe and quiet neighborhood giving your dog access to safe walks with many new smells. Your pet's comfort is our priority, we have comfortable dog beds for every room, and their choice of couch to lay on. We know training a pet is tough work, any pet boundaries, routines, or food restrictions will be upheld; let us know of any. If your pet suffers from anxiety, we also offer doggie daycare so they can get used to our home in a short term setting before their longer overnight stay. They can be reassured that whenever you leave, you always come back :)
About: As a lifetime animal lover, I've had the pleasure of being a pet parent, rescue pup foster mom, and repeat sitter for friends & family. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and many different medical needs. I work from home, so I will be with your pup the majority of the time. I do not have a yard but I take multiple daily dog walks (plus a final potty break before bed). I'm centrally located in Denver and live with one 65-lb mixed breed dog and a small bird (caged while around dogs). My dog has welcomed a variety of other dogs into our home and has always been very friendly. I live across from a park, which is perfect for meet-and-greets with other dogs on neutral ground. I allow my dog on furniture and I don't feed her from the table. I am happy to keep consistent with rules and habits you prefer your dog to follow! In case of emergency, I have go-to vets for both regular and 24-hour care but am happy to default to your preferred vet.
“Savannah took great care of my shy girl Lulu. She had such a great time! I would definitely recommend Savannah and would book her again in the future.”

“Jacquie was very sweet from the start. Asking all the right questions for Willy’s first time meeting her. She gave me great updates throughout the day, and effortlessly accommodated when I had to ask for a later pick up time. Willy was so sad when we were leaving. We can’t wait to go back!”

About: Your pup will have plenty of company and attention while they’re here! I work from home full time, so there’s a real human around throughout the day, along with my own friendly, dog-loving pups who are always happy to have a new friend around. 🐾 Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy being part of the family. My dogs are friendly, social, and used to sharing their space with other pups. I love giving dogs the opportunity to play, hang out together, or simply relax side-by-side depending on their personality and energy level. I’m always mindful that every dog is different, so I let them set the pace and make sure everyone is comfortable. We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of grass, a covered patio, and a doggy door so pups can easily go in and out. Whether they want to run around and play, lounge outside in the shade, or curl up next to me while I work, there are plenty of ways for them to enjoy their day. I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 20 years, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and I genuinely love having dogs in my home. My goal is for your pup to feel comfortable, included, and right at home while they’re here. I’ll also send regular photo updates throughout their stay, so you can see all the fun they’re having and know they’re happy and well cared for! ❤️ With two dogs of my own and working from home full time, pet care is already a natural part of my daily rhythm, something I genuinely enjoy rather than just manage. Adding your pup to the routine will be seamless (and fun)! Your dog is welcomed into my home like part of the family. Since I work from home, I'm here all day to make sure they're fed on schedule, have regular potty breaks, and never feel left alone or anxious. My fully fenced backyard with a covered patio and doggy door gives them the freedom to go outside whenever they want. Inside, they have a comfortable, calm space to rest, play, or hang out with me and my two dogs while I work. For boarding stays, bedtime routines are kept consistent and your dog has a cozy place to sleep. I'm experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including those with medical needs, and I'll always follow whatever routine and instructions you share with me.

“Diego has been walking our pup a few days a week for several weeks now and we couldn’t be happier! He has been very communicative, flexible and sends the best updates and photos of their time together. He has been extra caring with her and the heat this Summer and we are so appreciative of the extra care for our girl! 10/10 recommend”

“Carly is simply the best. She was with my dogs and I after I had surgery and was on crutches for six weeks. She is kind and considerate and definitely goes the extra mile. My male dog has a bit of dog reactivity and she was able to see that he’s just nervous. Seriously if you are looking for great care for your pets, Carly is the one!”

“We love Mariah! She walked my pup during my travel nursing contract in Denver and took great care of her! She always provided thorough updates and lots of photos/videos.”

About: I have experience in taking care of dogs in all life stages. Form newborn puppies, to 15 year old seniors. I’ve helped care for, and have owned a variety of different breeds, and had 3 of my own dogs for 14years. I will be happy to help care for your animal and treat it as if it was my own! Unfortunately my girl crossed the rainbow bridge recently, so your pup will get all the extra love and attention during its stay. I am currently working part-time as well as continuing my educational pursuits and spend a good amount of time at the house studying and working from home. I just ask you please give me a 2 day notice for any boarding. Dog walking or check ins can be done same day in most instances but at least a day notice on that is preferred! I have a fenced front and backyard, which your fur baby is welcome to explore. My dog typically runs from the front to back throughout the day depending on where the sun is shining brightest! There are multiple parks and a walking/bicycle path) about 1/2 mile away perfect for nice walks and places to sniff around and explore even more. If your dog is social and you are comfortable with them going to dog parks, there is one a short walk from my house. My veterinarian as well as an emergency vet are just a short 3 minute drive away from my home as well.
“Leah is great! She is kind, reliable, a great communicator, and my dog loves her! I really would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to walk or care for their dog.”

I’m reliable, attentive, and will treat your pet like they’re my own! Plus, you can absolutely expect plenty of updates and cute pictures while they’re with me! And treats if allowed of course :) BACKGROUND CHECK FRIENDLY I work remotely from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or house sitting. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches, and I’m happy to work around their normal routine as much as possible. I can always work on the go and will communicate my meeting schedule with you, so you know exactly what periods of the day I’ll need to be focused on work. Outside of those times, my schedule is very flexible, so I can easily accommodate walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of attention. All photos in my gallery are friends and family dogs that I care for regularly. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their feeding, walking, and potty routine consistent, and make sure they’re comfortable in my care. All photos in my gallery are friends and family dogs that I care for regularly.

“Chantel was fabulous! This was our first time leaving Roxie in our new home in Denver and we felt very comfortable leaving her in Chantel's care! We were out of the country and greatly appreciated the updates she sent us with pictures of our little doggie- Roxie looked very comfortable and happy on all her walks :) We would definitely recommend her and would certainly hire her again! Thanks again, Chantel!!”
“Mika is a lovely lady that my dog loved immediately. She's gentle yet firm with my dog, which is needed as she's a pit and stubborn. Mika was also great at communicating and flexible in her schedule. I'll definitely be using her again.”

About: I've been living my dream for the past four years, traveling the U.S. as a full-time digital nomad while pet-sitting in exchange for accommodation as I explore new cities, towns, and countryside. Having now built an extensive pet-/house-sitting resume (i.e., over 60 five-star reviews, which I’d be happy to share with you) on a different platform that focuses on travel exchange, I'm eager to offer my quality services as more of a business through Rover! While I've traveled all over the U.S. to pet-sit, my Rover reviews, specifically, so far come from Kansas City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Anchorage. I will be in Denver for the fall (staying in the RiNo district), where I hope to find some pets who need a new friend in me! I’ve spent LOTS of time in Denver and surrounding areas over the years, and I’m so excited to be back! Over the past few years, I've cared for all sorts of pets, ranging from one healthy cat to a seven-animal pack including previously-stray dogs who need to be proven to that they're safe. I've truly made some best friends in these pets; my top favorites have been pitbulls with a personality, as well as cats who provide me some freedom in my daily routine. I've also provided all sorts of medical care to my furry friends: simple pills in pill pockets, "pilling" a cat, checking glucose levels of a diabetic cat and giving it insulin injections, giving a dog allergy immunizations, post-seizure comfort care to a dog, physical guidance for a dog who was both blind and deaf, and sincere patience with senior dogs on walks, going up stairs, or who are in the stage of life of needing to wear diapers. I've also watched service dogs who adhere to a different set of rules/commands than their siblings. (When I was younger, I helped train a litter of puppies, so that's also not foreign to me.) While the pet- and house-sitting experience I have amassed is top-quality, my resume stems from and highlights a simple, true love for spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. What you can count on from me as your pet-sitter: 1) I will end the sit with various nicknames for your pets, 2) I will talk to them all day and invite them into every room I hang out in (as long as they're allowed), 3) I will send you at least one/two picture(s) a day, if not more because you request it or they do something extra cute/funny, and 4) I am very attentive to animals' nonverbal cues, and I will contact you and/or a virtual vet if something seems really off. Through both pet-sitting platforms I’ve used, I have made so many furry friends and have cultivated relationships with pet owners and their communities. In my profile pictures, I have included some of my reviews on the other platform I've used, specifically to showcase the kinds of animal families I have watched and how I am used to pet-sitting (and living my life) in different places all the time. However, if a pet-owner is still curious, I would be happy to provide them with my full profile link. As a nomad, I also want to emphasize that the locations and dates for which I am searchable are 100% confirmed, stable, and are not at risk of changing. (When I am looking to do Rover, I tend to be renting a place in one spot for a while, location/plans determined several months in advance.) If you are at all hesitant about my ability to take care of your furry friends, I'd love to hop on a call and tell you more about my lifestyle or my plans for my time in your area! Pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my nomadic journey, and I can’t imagine anything better. Pet-sitting is something I’ve done since childhood (back then, for neighbors), and I’ve utilized it to travel in adulthood. I converted to / added on Rover several months ago to monetize my experience in light of being impacted by a mass layoff. I wanted to utilize the top-tier experience I’d built to financially stabilize my life while in a full-time job search, but also beyond. Nowadays, I am working remotely again part-time (with a super flexible/self-set schedule), which only deepens my ability to travel to other parts of town to check in on pets and walk dogs while doing, or in between, my digital work, which I can do in various settings! In addition to being able to travel to a pet-sit during the day, to work with a furry friend cuddled up on my lap, go on walks, etc., I am really enjoying having extra time to pursue some side creative passion projects that I’ve historically had to put on the back burner! I love to spend my free time writing/blogging, scrapbooking, reading, practicing yoga, doing all of that in nature/parks, cooking/baking at home, and going out social dancing! Your pet is sure to have a best friend in me, no matter their energy level. :-) I'm a digital nomad, and pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my journey! I am super excited to be back in Denver for yet another fall season, and I'm eager to share my time with your pets! My calendar is updated for those dates I'm available. I can start my days early and stay up late; I've watched pets who rise before the sun comes up, as well as ones who sleep in like teenagers! I have a lot of remote, digital work to do, and your pet is welcome to sit in my lap / at my feet while I work. In my part-time employment era, I have more flexibility and time on my hands, so I figure I might as well expand my time with pets! If you need someone throughout the day, I love a good coffee shop, so I can hang out at one in your area between drop-ins. Even though I’m renting in your city, for the right price, I look forward to keeping your pets company overnight <3 (most of my experience on Rover so far). In my free time, I enjoy blogging/writing, reading, practicing yoga, cooking and baking, enjoying coffee shops and parks, and going on walks. So, both energetic and calm pets will have a buddy in me. I love a good night in, but I also love to explore new neighborhoods. I look forward to doing so while watching over your furry family! I only agree to pet-sits I feel confident about meeting the pet/home-owners' expectations. Luckily for those searching for the best care for their fur family, I have an extremely wide range of successful experience in medical, psychological/anxiety, and senior pet care, as well as home care. Some pets simply need--and want--a human to take them outside and feed them. Others require a bit more attention. I think I really have done it all. I've watched over and bonded with eager, cuddly pets, as well as many rescued/previously-stray dogs who take quite a bit of time to warm up, and cats who fill the litter box and empty the food bowl but rarely show their face. I'm always eager to give the animals my love and affection, should they welcome it, and to fulfill their care needs. I follow all procedures and care that your pet is used to / that you request for them and your home. I am very attentive to pet-owners' instructions, from feeding instructions to crating needs during specific amounts of time alone/overnight, to medication instructions and symptoms to look out for, to times your fur baby needs to be let out or prefers to wake for the day or go to bed. If your pet loves to cuddle and is allowed in the bed or on the couch, they will be welcome to join me. Additionally, I've been astounded to learn how important the HOUSE-sitting portion can be. . . . I've saved a flooding bathroom caused by the connected unit, handled a creepy neighbor while keeping the homeowner involved, kept a saltwater pool clean and operating, oversaw an AC and furnace replacement, and more. Especially for overnight stays, I am known to leave homes just as clean, if not cleaner, than I found them, with bedding and towels taken care of if my departure time allows.
About: I grew up with cats since I was a child and have loved and nurtured them from the time they were kittens to their senior years. I now have a wonderful and energetic Rottweiler. I can’t imagine a life without a furry friend by my side. As a pet parent, I am very conscious of how difficult it is to leave your furry friend with someone new. I will do whatever I can to keep your mind at ease and your pet happy! I work from home half of the week which allows me a flexible schedule to care for your pets. I am also available early in the morning or later in the evening throughout the week. There are several parks near me where I love to take my dog and would love to share with your pup. For dogs that prefer calm strolls over parks, I can provide a walk around the neighborhood for your pup to enjoy.
About: I'm Lexi, lover of all dogs and animals. I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life, growing up with two, and having roommates and friends with dogs forever. I’m of the opinion that dogs are better than humans, so your furbabies are in good hands! I currently work a full time job, and work from home on Mondays & Fridays, so I’m mostly available for long weekend boarding, and walks on those days. My partner works from home full time, and is a fellow dog lover, so weekday stays are okay too, as he’ll be home during work hours for play time and bathroom breaks I live in a townhouse style home with 2 flights of stairs, so it’s best that your pup is able to get up and down if they’re over 50 pounds! I have a small not-fenced-in yard in front of the house for quick on-leash bathroom breaks, but will mostly be taking your dog for a stroll around our quiet neighborhood and to the big park right up the street.

About: Hi there! I’m a teacher in Denver and a lifelong animal lover. My love for animals started young, helping out at my aunt’s dog shelter as a kid. That early experience taught me a lot about patience and reading animals’ needs. Since then, I’ve cared for my own family pets across many dog breeds, and I regularly watch animals for family and friends, including a few with tricky temperaments. That’s given me a calm, steady approach no matter the personality I’m working with. At home, I share my life with my partner, our 7 year old American Bulldog, Teddy, and 3 year old hedgehog, Cosmo, so I’m well versed in caring for pets with different needs. That experience carries over into how I care for every pet I sit for. I’m very attentive and understand that pets can have unique needs, whether that’s medical care, anxiety, or a specific routine. Your pet’s comfort and safety is always a priority. As a teacher, my weekdays are pretty structured. I’m at school until 4, but I love using that after school time for dog walking; it’s a nice change of pace. Weekends are mostly reserved for my boarding clients, but if you need a longer stay, I’m happy to make accommodations if communicated beforehand. I have a fenced yard, grassy and shaded, perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I also have a backyard camera so your pet is always looked after, even when we step inside, and a large dog crate is available too if that’s part of your pet’s comfort routine. I’ll follow your feeding, medication, and routine instructions closely to keep things consistent, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of quality time, whether that’s playing, cuddling, or just relaxing together. My own dog, Teddy, is friendly and well socialized, so your pup will have great company and won’t be alone. You’ll get regular photo updates throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your baby is happy and safe.

“Shawn was great with Coco! He gave her lots of exercise, and cuddle time. Great communication and daily updates with pictures. We will definitely use Shawn again.”

“Our boy had a great time with Lindsay and Joshua! He was worn out from playing and slept in the next day. They were great at communicating and sent pictures every day. We would have they watch our baby again anytime!”

“Kristy and Nathan did a good job taking care of both my dogs. They really care about the wellbeing of the pets and it really shows once you meet them. They were very communicative and responsive throughout their stay.”

“Anna was wonderful with Honey! She kept us updated throughout the stay with plenty of photos and messages, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Honey seemed happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We’d definitely recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Jennifer has watched our Teddy multiple times and he comes home tired and happy. When we arrive he willingly runs into her home. She is a great communicator and sends regular updates. We will definitely book with her again.”

“My pup had such a great time and I could tell she enjoyed the time with Brittani and Travis. I got pictures and updates daily. Absolutely would take her back there again!”

“Jillian was great, she provided frequent updates and communicated well. George had no issues making new friends with her bird and dog, even with limited prior exposure.”

“I really like Dana. I like that she only takes one pet to dog sit at a time. I like that she has a dog herself and my dog has the company of her dog even if it took them a little time to warm up to each other. Dana communicated really well from the beginning. She sent me updates all the time and sent photos of my dog. I will definitely book her again.”

“Beyond accommodating when I had to change my return flight which was then further delayed. Truly take care of my pup as if their own - she always arrives at their place excited and comes home happy!”

“Scot was wonderful to work with when we went out of town for a weekend. Our pup was well cared for, well walked, and happy. Our pup can be anxious in new places and Scot was wonderful working with any obstacles this presented. Would highly recommend Scot!”

“Sarah did a great job taking care of my pup! She was very accommodating with my schedule and made sure my pup was safe and comfortable! He came home happy and healthy - I will definitely use her again :)”

“Corrie was great in a time pinch with my lovely Lola. She adapted well to Lola’s senior needs and kept in touch with me over the stay. Really appreciate all of your help, Corie.”

“Thomas was great with my dogs. We were skeptical about leaving Zero with anyone bevause he is not the best around people. He warmed up to Thomas right away. We got updates and pictures and it is clear my dogs were well taken care of. Would recommend and will be reaching out again in the future.”

“Brian offers a wonderful atmosphere and space for dogs to live as they should; with a nice backyard, a comforting home, and friends to stay occupied! I can’t recommend him enough, outstanding job!”
