About: I strive to treat everyone's furbabies with the highest level of care as if they're my own. I've cared for every age of dog and cat for...really my whole life. I can administer medications and keep an eye on and assist more "special needs" furbabies if needed. I am a Biology major and try to learn as much as I can to care for animals the best I possibly can. I am currently working on animal first aid but I do know human FA so I can spot an emergency and care for minor wounds. I am currently working as needed at my job but, even then, my days are really open. I do have medical appointments here and there so sometimes I just need to leave the house for those but I try to return to the house expeditiously because I dont want the animals to be alone for too long. I understand not leaving dogs (especially) for too long between potty breaks so I can work around that but I try to stay at the house for 95+ percent of the time I am sitting. I purposely work around the animal's schedule so that they can be as comfortable and cared for as possible. I try to get as much information from the owner as possible so that I can make the time as similar to when the owner is around. I know changes can be stressful so avoiding any as much as possible is the best. I am known to be a cuddler but if they want their space I can definitely give it. I can give outside time to the best of my abilities and can transport in my own car with great safety if needed (e.g. if they love lake play, etc.). For younger animals, I can give regular care and make sure the space stays clean and cared for as best as possible. I understand that they need more supervision and help. I also try my best to keep an eye on outdoor heavy animals and shy animals to make sure theyre doing alright during my stay as well.

“Like many others, I am an anxious dog mom and can be a bit nervous trusting new people to take care of my girl, Jagger. She’s a sensitive soul, and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. However, I’m so happy to say that Dan exceeded expectations with my pup! I took her to his home for a day of daycare, and she had the best time. Dan has a nice home and spacious backyard, which is great for my dog since she’s a big girl and enjoys sniffing, running around and basking in sun like a lizard. He has two dogs of his own, which was a huge bonus for her since she loves making new friends. She loved Dan from the moment they met and loved him just as much (maybe even more!) when I picked her up. Seeing how she acts around caretakers is a huge indicator for me about how comfortable she is and how well she’s being taken care of while I’m away. Dan gets 10/10 stars for this. Even when I came to pick her up, she was still running over the Dan for pets and lovins! She was happy to see me and ready to go home but not in a “please get me out of here” way that I’ve experienced before with other daycares and caretakers. What’s more, whenever I reached out to check on how things were going, Dan responded to me in a timely manner. Introductions are done one-on-one, gradually, and under my close supervision. - Exclusive Care & Multiple-Household Bookings: For safety and to help everyone adjust comfortably, I accept no more than three guest dogs at a time. For dogs who are reactive or have higher exercise and enrichment needs, including some high-energy and sporting breeds, I may limit this to two depending on my partner’s schedule so I can provide each dog with the attention they need. I’ve recently opened up my schedule to accept weekend daycare bookings from different households at the same time. At the time I respond to your initial request, I actively consider your dog(s) on my schedule while we’re ironing out the details. If another household is interested in the same dates, I’ll always let you know and discuss it with you first. I will not accept another household once your dog(s) are already in my care unless it has been discussed and approved by you prior to arrival. If you prefer exclusive care, please let me know! There is no additional charge for exclusive care, and once your booking is confirmed as exclusive, I will not accept another household for the same dates or overlapping drop-off/pick-up times. If there happens to be a same-day drop-off/pick-up conflict due to close timing windows, I’ll work with you to see if your dog(s) are comfortable riding in my car or truck and whether pickup or drop-off at your home would be a good option. Certain households will automatically receive exclusive care, including females in heat, intact males, puppies who are still completing their vaccination series, and senior dogs with modified vaccination schedules. For multiple-household bookings, I will confirm that all dogs are up to date on core vaccinations plus Bordetella. Safety comes first, and multiple-household bookings will always depend on each dog’s temperament, needs, and compatibility. - Supervision & Separation: Playtime is supervised, and separation from my own dog using a playpen or kennel is available as needed for individual enrichment, personal space, or throughout the stay if your dog(s) are more comfortable on their own. Dogs are also separated during mealtimes based on their individual needs, feeding habits, and comfort levels. - Routines & Training Tools: If your dog normally sleeps or eats in a crate, please bring it with them when possible so I can maintain their usual routine. Depending on the size of their crate or setup, I may not always be able to accommodate their typical arrangement, so please let me know in advance. Barking is completely expected, so please don’t worry if your dog tends to be vocal. I just appreciate a heads up! If your dog currently uses a clicker, e-collar, muzzle, or other training tool as part of their established routine, I’m happy to continue using it during their stay. Please let me know ahead of time and provide any instructions needed for proper use. - Last-Minute Bookings & Availability: For last-minute bookings, I may have prior commitments that require me to be out of the home for a short period. If so, I’ll let you know prior to confirming. My partner, Dalton, also works from home and would be here during that timeframe to watch over your dog(s). I also have two Furbo cameras set up in the home so I can check in while I’m away. - At this time, I only offer pet sitting in my home and am not available for in-home sitting at other locations.

What else makes me happy is helping other people out to take care of there fur babies :) I have experience of watching dogs and cats. I am currently working on animal first aid but I do know human FA so I can spot an emergency and care for minor wounds. I am currently working as needed at my job but, even then, my days are really open. I do have medical appointments here and there so sometimes I just need to leave the house for those but I try to return to the house expeditiously because I dont want the animals to be alone for too long. I understand not leaving dogs (especially) for too long between potty breaks so I can work around that but I try to stay at the house for 95+ percent of the time I am sitting. I purposely work around the animal's schedule so that they can be as comfortable and cared for as possible. I try to get as much information from the owner as possible so that I can make the time as similar to when the owner is around. I know changes can be stressful so avoiding any as much as possible is the best. I am known to be a cuddler but if they want their space I can definitely give it. I can give outside time to the best of my abilities and can transport in my own car with great safety if needed (e.g. if they love lake play, etc.). For younger animals, I can give regular care and make sure the space stays clean and cared for as best as possible. I understand that they need more supervision and help. I also try my best to keep an eye on outdoor heavy animals and shy animals to make sure theyre doing alright during my stay as well.

About: I have had pets of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs and have cared for all their needs. Growing up with pets has helped me develop empathy for creatures that cannot verbally communicate with us humans. I am currently racing on the cycling team at Colorado Mesa University as well as studying and walking dogs will fit perfectly into active time off the bike. I will make sure all the dog’s needs are met, whether it be water, finding a spot to go potty or keeping their paws off the hot pavement.

About: I have cared for my own pets for decades. I have sat with dogs from puppies to seniors. I love to calm their nerves and give them tactile care. I am currently retired and this has been goal for years to spend these years caring for others loved ones (pet) so they can travel. About: I love spending time with dogs and making sure they receive the care they need. I have experience raising two dogs, volunteering at the humane society, and am great with interacting with dogs of all ages and sizes. About: My husband and I have grown up with dogs our whole life! We love having our Stella in our life and she loves to play with other dogs. She would enjoy taking playing with your furry friend.
