About: My dog is my top priority, and yours will be too! I’m able to take your dog on hikes, runs, and have some fun time with my 2 year old husky/heeler mix. Lots of cuddles, exercise, and fun time, while ensuring proper dog to dog boundaries. I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time, and so am able to provide care for your pets throughout the day. My home is best for small and medium dogs (up to 60lbs). I am unable to care for dogs under 1 year old. Additionally your dog must be: 1) dog friendly, with no history of aggression towards dogs 2) people friendly 3) house trained 4) sleeps through the night I have a fenced yard and one playful two year old husky/heeler mix. Care can include yard play time, leashed walks, hikes, or runs, depending on the needs of your dog! I am also able to keep up with training and obedience with your dog, whether that includes reactivity, leash walking, jumping etc. A meet and greet is required before I am able to book new dogs.

About: I have been taking care of my own, and neighbors cats for as long as I can remember. I was the primary caregiver for my cat, Dakota, and therefore was responsible for everything from litter box cleaning to injecting his medication in his final years. I am a responsible woman in my 30's that enjoys caring for animals as a side hustle. I have many years of experience with both cats and dogs (mostly large breeds). As a child I had mostly experience with cats. I volunteered in sevral animal adoption centers for years and was also given a lot of responsibility to care for my own cat at home. In my adult life I started working with dogs at age 20 because my boyfriend at the time got me into it. I did mostly foster care and hung out with his dog too. We take all dogs but specialize in older or extra large breeds. We work from home but are mainly on sabbatical working the land outdoors. About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. I am not certified trainer - and don’t consider myself one -but was able to potty train and teach our pet a few tricks and special family words we use with him. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is protective but friendly, he will bark a lot at first until he gets acquainted and comfortable with others around him and us. We as a family (my husband and two children) enjoy going for walks and our children are also very caring and respectful with pets. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust to your needs. I am available also on weekends and flexible with late/early drop off or pick up. We have a fenced yard at our home and the yard is spacious. Our home is a two story home. We also have plenty of areas to walk around the neighborhood and nearby trails (Standley lake, Arvada Parks & trails, Golden, Boulder). Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is crate trained. I do not have extra crates but can use your dog's/cat's crate as needed or as you instruct.

If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.
About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. At the same time, I raised my dog since she was a puppy so I do have experience with younger, more energetic dogs and overall I would simply love to help and treat your dogs like family. About: I grew up with two dogs and regularly dog sat and walked for about 8 years. I hope to continue this now that I live in boulder because I love and miss my dogs! I work a set schedule Monday-Friday, so they will have consistency/stability throughout the weekdays. On the weekends, I’ll be available to spend the entire day with your fuzzy family members. How I care for your pets is strongly influenced by what you share with me. Household rules like crating, furniture rules, and routines will all be discussed with you and then adhered to during my stay. I also offer to bring in the mail, take out the trash, water the plants, and feed the goldfish. You know, those little details that matter.

I grew up with many varieties of animals among the years and numerous cats and dogs. I have always been a huge animal lover and can't wait until I have the property and space to home more friends! The very first thing I have always done at new people's houses with animals is greet all of the animals. I am a highly energetic individual with a strong eye that seeks to pay attention to the needs of other beings. I have two cats and a fish that I give lots of love and attention daily - and looking forward to caring more for other animals too! I do not have a home space in which I am capable of taking in others animals currently, but I take care of the pets at the owners home this same way! First thing when I get home is to greet my pets and give them attention and love. I play for a little and then check to see the water bowl is full (and for my cats that the food is also - I know dogs are on a schedule). With dogs, I would regularly schedule times to take them out for walks - and make sure I match them for however they wanna walk! (Slow, adventurous, running a little faster) I make sure that I have plenty of plastic bags and treats to take with on the walk. I do not like to leave dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I love interacting with animals and giving them lots of attention!

About: My dog is my top priority, and yours will be too! I’m able to take your dog on hikes, runs, and have some fun time with my 2 year old husky/heeler mix. Lots of cuddles, exercise, and fun time, while ensuring proper dog to dog boundaries. I have experience caring for dogs from puppies to seniors. I work from home full time, and so am able to provide care for your pets throughout the day. My home is best for small and medium dogs (up to 60lbs). I am unable to care for dogs under 1 year old. Additionally your dog must be: 1) dog friendly, with no history of aggression towards dogs 2) people friendly 3) house trained 4) sleeps through the night I have a fenced yard and one playful two year old husky/heeler mix. Care can include yard play time, leashed walks, hikes, or runs, depending on the needs of your dog! I am also able to keep up with training and obedience with your dog, whether that includes reactivity, leash walking, jumping etc. A meet and greet is required before I am able to book new dogs.
