Pet care is part of my everyday life—I share my home with three of my own furry companions, so love, playtime, and feeding schedules are already built into my routine. I lost my senior girl in August 2026 and have wanted to spend time with the energy and love of dogs since then. She was on a few medicines, but we made her sunset years beautiful and fun. I’m currently looking for remote work and have all the time in the world for your pets! I am interested in spending time outside with pets, making sure they are having fun while you are gone! My home is open to dogs, but unfortunately an allergy prohibits cats. I have a ranch style house which is nice and easy for seniors to get in and out of. The backyard is fenced so they can roam, or we can put on a leash and explore the land around us. I have dog beds and toys for them to tear up or carrying around - whatever’s clever!

“Leanne is great! Obviously she and her husband are dog lovers, both gentle and professional, and they have a very sweet older poodle which my pup Brody got along with very well. We just had to leave town for the day so Brody had daycare and Leanne was very flexible with my drop off and pick up times as my schedule changed as the day went by. I got three pictures during the day including one that showed them taking a walk. A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with a huge yard, though not fenced, allowing for easy access for safe walks. Brody seemed calm and content when I picked him up and we would use Leanne again and recommend her highly. Great to have a local resource as needed! Thanks!”

I grew up in a family of animal lovers and we never had a shortage of dogs in the house. I've been taking care of animals since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I currently run my own business for animal care, so animals are the very core of what I do for a living! I am available for all animal types, and take care of them like they're my own. I do in home care for clients. I currently do not offer the use of my own home for animal care. I do overnight, drop in visits, walking and extended day time visits.

About: I have been working with all different types of dogs my whole life. Ive owened Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Recently have been walking and sitting dogs for friends. Dogs have an energy that you don't get from working with any other animal or human. I have found working with dogs makes it more fun to "work". I currently am unable to own my own dog, but am very excited to be able to help other owners out. I also enjoy getting outside and being active. If your dog likes to jog, I don't have a problem doing so. Fetch or the dog parks are also fun alternatives, if I know owners are ok with it. I’m currently working overnight shift (9:45pm-6:15am)Sat-Wed, but have plenty of time during the day to take care of your pets needs. I currently don’t have any pets, so I’d love to be able to dote on yours while you’re away. I prefer to sit in the home of the animal that is needing the care, as I feel that makes for an easier transition for the pet.
