About: I have experience in all things dog walking, training, crate training, bath time, feeding time, medicine distribution, playtime, socializing, house training, dog birthday parties, and specialized attention. I prioritize dogs health and walkies so I always get up in the cold mornings, feed them on time, take good walks, and take them to the park for socialization. I base my schedule around letting them out and giving them enough playtime to reduce boredom. My house is clear of any hazards and all cleaning supplies are put away. Since it’s not my pet, we will not be going off leash on walks.
About: * Been taking care of friend's loved one for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)
“Abby was absolutely wonderful as a sitter. My regular sitter was out of town and unavailable to take care of my dog but Abby was very quick to respond and setting up a meet and greet was super easy. She sent me plenty of updates throughout the five days I was away, and always messaged whenever she had a question regarding my dog's care. I went on my trip with full confidence that he would be well taken care of!”

I currently have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate to most needs! Have plenty of time during the day to walk/let out pets. Can accommodate to longer walks/hikes for large dogs. About: I grew up with dogs and have been taking care of friends dogs ever since I can remember. In my community I am often the first person called when it comes down to finding a trustworthy pet sitter. In addition, I have spent the last 5 years working with/ and babysitting kids with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. As a full time student I spend a lot of my time doing school work but, like dogs, need to get out and run around. I get to spend my time outside, on walks, runs, and bikes in between classes and on the weekends. I live in an apartment with two other dog loving girls. I am more than happy to share my bed or floor with an interested pup. Although I don't have a yard, I live right across from a big soccer field and have access to the horse gulch trail system behind my apartment (which I frequently use). I am currently working as a plumber for my dad. I tend to have lots of leniency with work and can even bring a pup with me! My house is open to all cats and dogs and that includes the couch haha! I live outside of town in a house where dogs have lots of room to roam and even a pond! In my home the safety of all pets is very important :)

“Absolutely wonderful to work with! Her communication was absolutely amazing and she treated our home and more importantly our baby girl with so much kindness and respect we have no words! We 100% recommend her!”

“I can’t say enough about the wonderful care Rose provided for my cats while I was on a 10 day vacation! She arrived promptly for the twice a day visit I requested. She dispensed ear meds for one of my cats for an ear infection and took time to play with them and gave updates about how they were eating and interacting with her. I have one cat that is fearful of anyone new, and after a few days, she was comfortable with Rose and played with a wand toy with her!! That was a huge step for this kitty!! She gave me peace of mind during my time away which was invaluable! I don’t travel much but rest assured, if she’s still a pet carer and is available, I will want her to care for my 4 cats in heartbeat!”

“Elisabeth and Mike were incredible sitters for my 11 year old higher anxiety cattle dog mix pup, Hazel for a week while I was on a work trip to Steamboat Springs. I always struggle leaving her with new people but they very adamantly listened to all the needs I expressed about Hazel's care and as a result make it very easy to trust that I was leaving her in good care. One of my favorite things was that as a dog with separation anxiety, Hazel never had to be alone during doggy daycare! It was clear after the week that she was so loved and well cared for that she didn't want to go home! I'm so grateful for Elisabeth's trustability, reliability, communication, cute pictures, and catering Hazel's experience to her needs over the course of the week. I only wish I lived closer so Hazel could see them more often!”
“Liah is amazing! Kona went with her immediately, which tells me she truly has a special connection with dogs. Communication throughout the day was excellent, and she was very flexible with pick-up time. I felt completely at ease knowing Kona was in such good hands. 100% recommended!”

“Suzanne and her family treated Sophie like one of their own. They were extremely considerate of her special needs as an older dog and I felt safe leaving my gal in their care! We will definitely use them again the next time we’re in Steamboat.”

About: Lots of experience with dogs in particular. Always enjoy time with them and I think they enjoy time with me. And our 2 girls are very welcoming and eager to have new friends visit. I work from home so having another mouth or 2 around to feed and a friend or 2 more to play with is never an issue. Yard is not fenced but pets will never be left outside unattended. However, I have a large deck that is fully enclosed so weather permitting the pets are free to enjoy the outside as they wish.
