About: I’ve spent years caring for pets of all ages and personalities—from gentle senior cats to rowdy, playful pups. My background in a pet store taught me animal behavior, nutrition, and how to make every pet feel safe and happy. I’m skilled at giving medications, handling high-energy pets, and offering extra TLC to seniors. With me, your furry friend will get expert care, plenty of love, and endless tail wags! Pet care is part of my everyday life—I share my home with three of my own furry companions, so love, playtime, and feeding schedules are already built into my routine. I’m used to early morning walks, regular grooming, cuddle breaks, and keeping a close eye on health and behavior. Caring for pets isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s simply part of who I am.🐾💕 I make safety my first priority, keeping pets happy and secure. I care for each pet as if they are my own. All animals deserve kindness, respect, and purrr-sonalized care.😌
About: I have had dogs since I was a kid and I couldn’t imagine life without them! I have helped family members, friends and neighbors care for their dogs over the years. I enjoy walking and playing with our dog and will include your sweet baby in our family walks and play! My backyard is safe and secure and has plenty of room for dogs to play and run! I have a doggie door and have found that dogs figure out how to use it with ease, if they don’t have one at their home. My grandchildren are here periodically and are also dog lovers! I’m currently working part time, 3 days per week, 4 hours per day. My dog and I walk about 3 miles, most days. The rest of the day is spent with her following me around and helping me with my chores, even help me go potty!!! I have a fully fenced yard with room to play. I currently have 1 dog, she’s a silver lab and is about 9 years old. She’s a good girl, most of the time! My dog gets dog treats on our walks and throughout the day. She currently eats twice per day, 6 am and 5:30 pm. We are able to adjust schedules for your dog, if necessary.
“Left my dog feeling stressed because this was his first overnight away from home! He truly could not have been in better hands! I received pictures during his stay and this was so comforting. Thank you, Lynne!”
About: Not only have I had many fur babies over the years, I have a very special place in my heart for them. Throughout the years, I have also cared for other people's fur babies. I currently work full time with set hours. I can easily accommodate to morning and evenings schedules, including weekends. There isn't much in a schedule I couldn't accommodate. I have a privacy fencedbyard with lots of room to run. It is a very safe area to have dogs in and close proximity to the library for walking.
About: Our family had dogs since I was a young boy; I've had many since then. I've also trained them. We also had fish, hamsters, birds, reptiles and lizards as pets. Some 15 years ago, one of my dogs went blind... I cared for him for 10 yrs after that until he passed away. He never left my side. A few years ago, I got another dog but she died of cancer last year. At the moment, I don't have a dog (she died) but I have 5 cats. I do rather well with both and my cats are quite used to dogs. I used to live on a ranch where we raised Arabians; I was responsible for feeding & caring as many as 18 horses. When I was younger, I rode often and played polo. My father passed 10 yrs ago and his wife sold our ranch. I am available to feed horses provided that I'm paid the time it takes to travel back and forth. I am available for cat/dog sitting & feeding. If you need dog boarding, please let me know if you pet gets along with cats. I work from home, so I am a home quite a bit. I also have a flexible schedule, and this can be accomodated to work around certain issues or conflicts. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I have a large (unfenced) yard, but I am willing to take your pet on walks in my neighborhood, as needed. I live one block away from a park. I am home quite often, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am available for drop-ins, visits, or even overnights.
About: During college I volunteered at animal shelter, realizing how much I adored dogs and cats! I learned how to support senior dogs, puppies, administer meds, and help dogs with trauma. I ended up adopting my soul dog from there and she was with us for 10 plus years. She was on meds for the last 2 years of her life! We recently lost our German Shepard after 11 years, so our house is happy to support your babies. I am a stay at home mom, so I have the ability to love your pet all day! I run, so can take your pet for jogs. We have a great dog run backyard area, with a doggy door so your pet has access to potty too! I’ve watched dogs for friends for years, and our dog Thor would love some company! I am a stay at home mom, to our toddler, and my husband works from home! We have all day to help support your pups needs, and we don’t leave the house too often. We walk moose, our dog, 2-3 times a day, and he has access to go outside whenever he’d like. We have a fenced dog run, back yard, a doggy door, and minimal stairs. We have plenty of space up and downstairs if the dog wants a break or likes to decompress! We both work from home, and when we leave our dog, we want them to be loved and safe so we want to provide that environment for you.

About: I work full time as a remote paralegal at a law firm. I own 4 fur babies of my own and know how important it is for them to get the care and attention that they deserve. Don’t stress while you are away at the office, because I am here to give them all the love and attention for you. I work full time as a remote paralegal and therefore am able to stop by your home during the day or night to check on your fur babies for you. I care for your dogs as if they are my own. Walks, play time, daily massages and kisses. If your dog requires certain accommodations I am happy to comply with those specifics as well.
“Rayelle was fantastic while caring for our cat for 10 days. She was prompt at the 2 drop in visits per day, gave him lots of love and scrubbles while there. Kept the litter box clean and everything nice for our return. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her for others who have to leave their fur babies!”

“Once again, we came home to four happy and healthy kitties! Cathy came every day for ten days to feed them canned food and supplements, clean their litterboxes, and give them some love and attention. She was very conscientious about the timing of her visits so they occurred between the schedule of the automatic feeders for dry food. She has gotten to know each cat and what their petting, playing, attention preferences are, and she sends great photos of her interactions with them. We don't like leaving our babies, but knowing we can count on Cathy to take perfect care of them is very comforting! We are so appreciative and thankful for her and highly recommend her!”

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats and other animals my entire life. I've worked at a few rescues and I feel like I can work with any pet. I have epilepsy and so I have had a very difficult time keeping any traditional job and so I have a lot of down time right now. I love animals. I remember when I was young, I wanted to be a zoo keeper and I spelled it "zoo kepper". Currently I have two dogs and one cat and they are my heart. My main concern in water. I want to make sure my dogs (or any dog) always has access to water. Everyone has specific ways of caring for their pets. Personally, I like to play with my dogs and make sure they are as happy as can be. My cat just wants love so we give her lots of love.

About: I’ve loved and cared for cats my entire life, from playful kittens to gentle seniors. My experience spans volunteering with rescues, working in a pet store, and caring for my own furry companions—giving me a deep understanding of feline behavior, health, and needs. I’m skilled at winning over shy or nervous cats, keeping playful ones entertained, and making every whiskered friend feel safe, loved, and at home.

About: What sets me apart is my background as a veterinary technician and my experience caring for dogs and cats. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring health and behavior changes, and following detailed care routines. I understand that cats especially require patience, calm handling, and close observation. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I provide safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate care you can trust.

“I needed someone special to administer IV fluids to my cat while I was out of town. Melissa was great. She showed up right on time and handled a task with ease that would make many uncomfortable. I also appreciated that she sent me pictures of my cat while I was gone. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 and my dad is a professional dog trainer so I’ve had a bunch of experience with dogs and puppies. I’ve had from small dogs to quite large and often I would pet sit for my parents when they’d need to go on trips. I want to be a dog trainer and care taker as a professional career once I earn enough money to go to school for it. I’m very flexible with days and time. About to help my dad with the new litter of German shepherds he’s breeding this fall. So anything from care to training I can take care of and I’m okay with changing plans as long as it’s a couple days before. Thank you for you time!
About: I have worked with pets for all of my adult life. I began working at an animal shelter in Kentucky and volunteering with several rescues at age 19. I have sense transitioned into a career in veterinary medicine. I have some training experience from previous jobs and have experience with many different breeds. I’m experienced with senior pet care as well as administering medication! I have recently found out I am pregnant so I am now home daily for pet care. Can provide frequent potty breaks for puppies or older pets. I also have a young dog of my own for playing. We have a small fenced yard, for larger or more high energy pets we do leash walk if okay with owner. I have lick mats and puzzle feeders for more high energy pets that I do not mind providing.

“My kitties love Edyn, they were happy to play and get attention from her. My female cat can be pretty finicky on who she let's pet her, and Edyn is allowed to, so a big win.”

About: I have had several cats throughout my younger life. In my adult life I travel too much to have a kitty of my own, so I love to care for other people's cats when I can. My parents have 9 rescued cats of various ages so I am familiar with administering medications and things like that 😊

“With so much stress in the world it’s very refreshing to feel totally comfortable leaving my furry best friend with someone like Julia. My pup took to her immediately. Highly recommend Julia and I’ll look her up next time I’m in need of a dog sitter in Salida.”

“Lisa has dropped in to check on our 3 dogs and 2 kitties and did a great job both times. We have a very shy dog that is reactive with new people and Lisa handled the situation without any issues. We also have a shy kitty and Lisa was able to coax her out as well. I feel very comfortable knowing they are safe in her care and I love getting the picture updates!”

“Carson loves spending time with Jason, Sherry, and his doggy friends. He sleeps very well when he spends the day. I so appreciate the great care Carson gets. I highly recommend Sherry and Jason.”

“Brooke was a lifesaver for us. We were traveling through the area with our small dogs in an RV, and she was able to watch them so we could day trip the area and not have to worry. They took to her immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving our boys with her. Pictures she sent showed they had a good time!”

Any day of the week. Overnights or only daycare. My home or yours. At this time I don't have a pet. I lost my dog a while back. I don't have a fenced yard. I will give lots of time, personalized attention, walks and love to your pet while you are away. I offer in-home pet sitting in my home in town, or in your home depending on your location. My yard is fully fenced and conveniently located in the town of Westcliffe. If boarding, your pet would be allowed to treat our home like its own. If in your home (within a reasonable distance), scheduled visits will meet your specific requirements such as play time, short walks and feeding schedules.

About: I have been working with all different types of dogs my whole life. Ive owened Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Recently have been walking and sitting dogs for friends. Dogs have an energy that you don't get from working with any other animal or human. I have found working with dogs makes it more fun to "work". I currently am unable to own my own dog, but am very excited to be able to help other owners out. I also enjoy getting outside and being active. If your dog likes to jog, I don't have a problem doing so. Fetch or the dog parks are also fun alternatives, if I know owners are ok with it. I’m currently working overnight shift (9:45pm-6:15am)Sat-Wed, but have plenty of time during the day to take care of your pets needs. I currently don’t have any pets, so I’d love to be able to dote on yours while you’re away. I prefer to sit in the home of the animal that is needing the care, as I feel that makes for an easier transition for the pet.

About: Hello! My name is Jasmine and I love furry beings of all kinds. I would especially love to take your dog(s) on walks this winter. Growing up I lived with many different pets because my mom is also an animal lover and a vet tech. I have experience with sitting and transporting dogs, cats, and even rats. I also have some experience with goats and chickens. For 2 years I worked through Citizenshipper which is a platform that connects pet owners with pet transporters. And have gone on many several-day road trips with pets. This involves many walks, potty breaks, photo updates, and meal stops, as well as overnight care. I’m no longer on that platform but offer the same services here on Rover. Trusting me to care and be responsible for your pet is an honor that I never take lightly! Feel free to message me with any questions. -Jasmine I have full availability to care for your pet every day or night of the week if need be! I want this to be my full time job. About: Years of owning different pets or being around them. Have raised puppies into good dogs. Watched my buddies aged and learned how to take care of them and not push them too hard. I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The days I have available are because I work full-time Tuesday through Friday and I do not have a set clock out time as it varies day by day. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.

“Lisa is always very timely and is great at communicating how their walks go each visit. I always enjoy the photos she sends each booking as well!”
