About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, and a variety of farm animals, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, personalities, and care needs. About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have always loved spending time with them. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. About: **Note on availability: I’m moving to Boulder, CO on June 29th, so unfortunately I won’t be available for pet sitting in Baltimore after that!** I’m a (near-)lifelong pet owner and (actually) lifelong pet lover. I grew up with an adorable calico cat that my family got when I was 2 and an energetic Stabyhoun dog we got when I was 11, so I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have an animal or two to care for. That calico cat, Micio, was my best friend until she died at age 17, during my senior year of high school. She experienced some significant health issues in her final years, which gave me lots of experience and a real passion for caring for senior pets and pets with health issues. I also help my mom care for my childhood dog, the Stabyhoun, whenever I visit the two of them—he is now 15 and has a few health issues of his own, but he still acts like a puppy, and I love figuring out how to make him as comfortable and happy as possible as his needs change! Sadly, the building I live in right now doesn’t allow pets, so I get my fix looking after my friends’ pets. This is what I’ve been doing since starting college in 2018. Between cat sibling rivalries, kittens so small they needed monitoring and heating pads 24/7, a dog with a fear of trash cans and rain, a puppy with a peeing problem, and two dogs competing to be the most polite to each other (I had to feed them in different rooms so they wouldn’t wait forever for each other to eat), I’ve cared for plenty of pets on every side of the personality spectrum, from the shyest of the shy to the most outgoing. I see it as a true privilege to get to know so many animals’ personalities and quirks, and I treasure the time that I spend with them. I am careful, thorough, sensitive, and a good listener. This helps me learn from you about how to give your pet the best care possible, and it also helps me be alert to anything your pet is trying to tell me while I’m with them! Hopefully I’ll live somewhere someday where I can have pets of my own and even offer boarding or doggy day care at my place, but for now, I’m just happy to help in any small way I can. I’m a part-time music teacher, so my schedule can be quite flexible when planned ahead of time. I’ve especially worked with older cats and dogs, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care they often need. I also have two cats of my own back home, giving me firsthand experience in daily responsibilities and expectations of being a pet owner. Because of this, I’m very mindful about my care towards your pet! I’m currently a second-year, first-generation student at CU Boulder, balancing school and a Work-Study position. I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have helped care for them from when they were puppies through adulthood. Over the years, I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also helped care for dogs belonging to family members, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Growing up with dogs has taught me how important patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s unique personality is when caring for them. I’m currently a graduate student doing research, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate walks throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so fitting dog walks into my daily routine comes naturally. Whether your dog needs a quick walk, regular exercise, or some extra attention during the day, I’ll work to provide reliable and consistent care. When caring for pets, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand every dog has different personalities, energy levels, and routines, so I try to adapt to what works best for them. Whether in your home or out on walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, giving them plenty of attention, and following any instructions or routines you provide to ensure consistency and trust.

About: I will take care of your companion in a home away from home, with a loving family environment in a whole house and fenced yard. Walk 3mins to open space where many other dogs go. I'm a mature permanent long term resident of Boulder, where your dog can feel safe and have fun while returning to time and time again. I work for short hours with a flexible schedule during the day, but always spend mornings and evenings at home. I go for walks morning and evening or at different times during the day. I have a fenced back yard, with one small very friendly dog at home. Your companion will be a cared for and any sensitivities will be accomodated in a safe environment.

We visited before his stay, and he was already having the best time exploring it. She also took him to the creek, which he loved!
