About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. I live alone in a quiet, uncluttered home — great for dogs who do best in a calm space. Dogs are welcome on the couch and bed (unless you prefer otherwise). I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine: meals, meds, potty schedule, exercise, and any special instructions.

They are high maintenance DSH orange tabbies that beg for attention, and they got it for the 10 days we were out of the country. And, when Devon's partner, Taylor, visited, the love and attention our "boys" received went non-linear. Pictures and videos every day. The house was left clean and organized, the sheets were washed and the bed changed, attention was paid to the "rules", our "boys" were happy, and.....so were we!”

That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. I live alone in a quiet, uncluttered home — great for dogs who do best in a calm space. Dogs are welcome on the couch and bed (unless you prefer otherwise). I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine: meals, meds, potty schedule, exercise, and any special instructions.
