We have a large fenced yard along with parks that back up to our house - which means lots of walks and park play for your fur babies. I’m a lifelong animal lover who has cared for both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had pets my entire life, and caring for animals is something that comes very naturally to me. Our home backs up to a park with access to miles of trails, so your pup will get plenty of fun and enriching walks. Pets are welcome on furniture, including the bed, so they can feel comfortable and at home. If needed, I can easily crate your dog and follow any specific routines you have in place. For cats, I have a separate area of the home where they can relax without being bothered by dogs. I also provide cat trees, scratching posts, and toys to keep them comfortable, stimulated, and happy during their stay.

No hazardous objects are left lying around. When we eat we clean right away so remains are not left accessible to pets. We have trash cans that are not easy to open by pets. I'm originally from Colorado, and just recently moved back to Denver after living abroad in London for the past few years. I have a dog and cat myself, who still remain a major part of my family. I also helped out with a lot of their "happier" events, like the Furry Scurry, where hundreds of dogs and their owners gather at a local park for a communal walk to help support pets in need. I always like to set up meet and greets prior to official bookings, so any individual quirks or needs for your fur-babies can be discussed then. I have a psychiatric service dog that I like to bring with me to house sittings if it works out for everyone. However, I do have the ability to leave her home if this arrangement doesn’t work with your fur babies. Please let me know if you have any more questions! I'm currently self-employed and work from home, so I have a ton of flexibility in my schedule. I'm open to day sitting as well as house sitting. Whatever is best for both you and your pets. Since I am self-employed, I am very flexible in how I can care for your fur babies. For overnights, I prefer to house sit (as do the pets usually) but for the right pets we can discuss boarding. “Norma was a wonderful sitter for our pets while we were on a trip. She was flexible, accommodating and gave us great peace of mind that our dog and senior cat were very well taken care of. She messaged us with updates daily, and was easily able to handle special situations like meds and a bandage. Our cat and dog loved her house, which had a big fenced yard and even a catio. They had their own vacation too! We are so thankful for her!”
