About: I grew up with dogs throughout life and just rescued my first about a year and a half ago, it takes work and lots of love and patience with the help of a community whether it be fostering or just giving advice with everyday little things. About: From a young age I connected with dogs and have loved the special bond and relationship that comes with having them as a pet and companion. I currently own a husky so I am used to dogs of all sizes (and strengths) ! I enjoy any opportunity to give my furry friends extra TLC and lots of exercise outside from long walks to hikes on the beautiful trails nearby! I live in Old Town Basalt and can easily travel from Aspen to Carbondale! I'm currently work for myself so I have a lot of freedom and flexibilty to work your schedule into mine! All I ask is for a days notice to schedule and usually we can make it work! I have a fenced yard and a 4 1/2 year old male husky who is very social and loves a buddy to play with! He gets regular walks/hikes and can be walked with or without your dog based on your preference.
About: I grew up on a farm in the uk with cats and dogs and all of the animals. I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. I prefer to be able to do a meet and greet prior to make sure we all connect . I prefer clients to have a fenced yard but if not then long leashed walks are also fun! Off leash is good too in the dog parks if your furry friend is good at recall.

I live in a 2br 2bath apartment with a small patio. The dog parks close by as well as lots of places to walk around town. I take my own dog Ulysses to Crown mtn park, Basalt mtn, or up by Sopris at least once a day. The Rio Grande trail is right by my place as well.

I've also cat-sat for friends, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover clients over the years. I'm happy to take them on walks, hikes, dog parks, and potty/play breaks throughout the day. A note on transportation - In addition to my ambulance camper, I have an e-bike I often enjoy cycling throughout the valley, so parking availability at your home should not be an issue. I currently am full time pet sitting for the summer. I am very attentive and love morning, midday, fetch, and evening walks. I can take them to the dog park or on hikes, or if they're good with bikes, I can take them on even longer run/bike rides. I am very respectful and clean when staying at a client's house. I treat it like my own (if not better). I love going for walks with your pup and keeping them on a leash. I also don't give in to the cute puppy eyes when I'm eating my food and keep them to their parents' approved food and treats.
About: I've taken care of all dogs since I was 4 years old. My favorite childhood memory was walking my dad's dogs every night with my friends. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets during the week and on weekends too. About: I grew up with dogs throughout life and just rescued my first about a year and a half ago, it takes work and lots of love and patience with the help of a community whether it be fostering or just giving advice with everyday little things. About: I have grown up with dogs of my own and lived with many animals of all sizes. I love dogs but I travel a lot and cannot have my own, unfortunately. I try to get my fix taking care of other dogs when I can! I'm a big trail runner, I take my parents dog whenever I can. He is a big river/water dog so I love taking dogs on trails with water access. I always carry plenty of water and snacks for myself and the pup. I love dogs that are high energy and need to get lots of exercise, I'll tucker them out. I can take dogs on long hikes, runs, or even quick walks. I work evenings bar tending and am available most days before 4pm. I prefer to have one dog at a time so they get proper care and I can keep track of them, especially if they are good unleashed on trails. I am flexible and love to house sit as well so I can stay where the dog is comfortable. I like to have fun with the pups! This is for my own enjoyment and your convenience!
