Personalized care for your dog or cat - Almont

“Elle took amazing care of my French bulldog while I was away on vacation. She met with me and my dog twice beforehand to make sure she understood my dogs needs, and that my dog would be comfortable with her. Elle is very educated and quickly eased any concerns I had. She sent daily updates along with photos. She exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be using her again.”

“my dogs did very well at Michael and Emily's. Its such a relief to find a place where you know your family is happy and you don't feel like leaving them is cruel and horrible. The meet up before the stay was short but effective and made us feel comfortable. My babies seemed happy and well cared for. They walked, played, and met some fur friends. I would highly recommend this family!”

“SalleAnn was such a kind and generous sitter. She took the time to welcome us while we witnessed Loki get to know the other dogs and housemate. She took Loki on a hike. She taught us a skill with the leash to keep Loki from pulling. She was super flexible with scheduling when we returned late from our day trip. I hope to return soon and stop by to say hello even if we don’t need a sitter.”

About: I have lots of experience (9+ years) working at pet stores and caring for my own pets! I have housed puppies in the past and walked dogs as a side job. . I have a very active Australian Sheppard whom I've had since she was 7 weeks. I'm also very active so higher energy dogs are a great match! If you'd like I can take them into the mountains with me for a big hike! Feel free to contact me so we can talk about your dogs needs and maybe meet beforehand! Currently working part time so I'm available for your pups! And I hike with my dog every day anyway. So let's get out and play! Like I said. I can take them out for playtime with my dog or their own solo time hiking. Or we can just hang out on the couch and cuddle!

“Carol, and her pup Banjo, were great hosts to my little pup! Carol really goes above and beyond to make sure it’s a safe, comfortable, fun stay! I felt good leaving my pup with her for a couple days and he seemed to really settle right in and enjoy himself. Thank you!”

Terry A.

“Allie is absolutely amazing. She was extremely accommodating when our plans changed, honest when the price changed, and she and her family was great with our pups from start to finish. Thanks so much, Allie!”

About: In addition to owning and devoting my time to pets for decades, I am a retired special education teacher with plenty of love and patience. As a teacher, I provided dog therapy in my classrooms for nine years. I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages, including puppies and elderly dogs with health concerns. I also have experience with chickens. I am retired from teaching, and have thoroughly enjoyed spending more time with animals, while also providing a much needed service to pet owners. As a pet sitter, I offer in home pet care while families are away, and usually do only one job at a time so I can dedicate myself to your loved ones! I am open to pet sitting most days of the week and have had both short and long term pet sitting experience. I offer pet sitting in your home, which means your pets do not need to leave their environment or routine while you are away. I will follow any directions to a T!

“Taylor was so kind to our dog and family. He instantly bonded her and I appreciated her communication. He had a great time!”

About: I have grown up with dogs of my own and lived with many animals of all sizes. I love dogs but I travel a lot and cannot have my own, unfortunately. I try to get my fix taking care of other dogs when I can! I'm a big trail runner, I take my parents dog whenever I can. He is a big river/water dog so I love taking dogs on trails with water access. I always carry plenty of water and snacks for myself and the pup. I love dogs that are high energy and need to get lots of exercise, I'll tucker them out. I can take dogs on long hikes, runs, or even quick walks. I work evenings bar tending and am available most days before 4pm. I prefer to have one dog at a time so they get proper care and I can keep track of them, especially if they are good unleashed on trails. I am flexible and love to house sit as well so I can stay where the dog is comfortable. I like to have fun with the pups! This is for my own enjoyment and your convenience!

“Azul took care of my GSP Tyoga while we were in Crested Butte. It was by far the best Rover experience we have had and I could not recommend her more. Tyoga and I are very bonded and he usually hates being away from me, but with Azul he was extremely happy - and that made me happy!!! You may want to think about taking a trip to Crested Butte just for your dog's sake - he or she will thank you.”

About: I have been overnight pet sitting and doing daily check ins for many years and love caring for cats. It is so rewarding when a cat decides it's ready to bond with me and hops right onto my lap.

About: My partner Aaron and I are excited to love and take care of your pets. We have our own black lab who we have professionally trained in search and rescue and soon to be a Canine Good Citizen. When you book us we both will be taking care of the pets so that they get the maximum amount of attention. We love walking them, playing at the river and going on hikes with the dogs we get to take care of! My partner Aaron and I aim to keep our calendar as updated as possible and I am currently available full time to take care of your pets. He and I both like to take care of the dogs because the more hands the better care! I can check in on your pet multiple times a day, go on walks with them and keep them company while you’re out of town so that they don’t get lonely!

“Azul was amazing with my dog and my cat. She was responsive, sent pictures and went about and beyond to make sure they were both happy. I would absolutely use her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs and/ or cats my whole life. I love caring for puppies/kittens all the way to seniors. I can give them the care they require. I love our furry pets! I am Gunnison homeowner for over 40 years and now retired. I have the time, energy, and desire to accompany your pet anytime. I am able to care for your pet in the way they are accustomed at your home. If staying with me, I have a fenced yard and a large home and a small Aussie named “Banjo” for them to play with. We can go for walks, to the doggie park, or just stay home.

“Allie was fantastic with our dog and to work with! She was flexible and easy to communicate with, but most importantly, it was clear our dog was very well cared for! We very much so appreciate her being so thoughtful with her approach. She demonstrates a lot of love and care for animals, and I would recommend her to anyone needing pet care.”

“Emma was awesome! She took great care of our 20 week old puppy and sent us many fun pictures throughout the day. I’m pretty sure our pup made a new best friend. Emma was communicative and very accommodating. We were in town for vacation but will definitely be using her again next time we’re here.”

About: I’ve been watching animals for about 10 years. I have experience in almost everything from walking dogs, animal sitting in my home and others, play dates, grooming and anything else you can think of! I’m a lover of all animals of all shapes and sizes and enjoy spending time with new pet friends ! I am currently working full time at a local doctors office but have an hour lunch break as well as time in the morning before and after work to check on and care for any animals! I am off on weekends which is when I spend most of my time with pets that I am watching. I have a fenced yard with high enough fencing to avoid any lost animals. While in a clients home, I always keep an eye on the pet when they are outside or wondering.

“I would give 50 stars if I could. Marsha is extremely professional, thoughtful, kind, considerate and treated my pup just like her own. I can’t recommend her enough.”

I am available daily walks and check-ins, as well as for overnight pet sitting any night of the week! You just tell me how you like your pets to be cared for and I’ll do exactly that! Hopefully they like golden retrievers so I can bring my dog along for more play time!

About: I've had pets for my whole life since i was 8 years old so I have 14 years of experience. I've had cats, dogs, kittens, puppies, hamsters, frogs, and even fish. Taking care of their needs being punctual on feeding times, making sure they get their daily walks, and bath when they play in the mud! I've taken care of senior dogs that need special care such as giving them their medication as directed by the pet owner. I work remotely, so I can be there to make sure your pets needs are met. I love taking care of all kinds of pets. I care for the pets solely directed by the pet owner. I make sure everything is precise, and from the notes the pet owner left. I also ask questions on how to care for the pets if the information was not provided, so I make sure the pet and the pet owners are comfortable and build that level of trust.
