If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. About: i have had my lovely cat for almost 8 years now. i know there's still more to come because some of the things we've gone through are things i didn't expect to happen so soon or at all. the first unexpected journey was taking in another cat while a family member moved. my cat is an only child so having another cat in the house was not fun for him. it took some time for him to get comfortable around the other, but they eventually became friends. another time my cat had a procedure done and to prevent any infection i learned to give him liquid and pill medication.

I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.
About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. I was recently laid off, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I am available pretty much anytime currently, weekdays and weekends. I treat all animals in my care as my own, with respect and love, whether they need a play buddy or just someone to cuddle, I try to give them what they need
About: I have cared for a wide range of animals since my childhood on a small family farm. I have bottle fed kittens to goats, trained puppies to ducks, and cared for little piglets to senior dogs. I also have some experience with medical procedures with dogs and cats, to farm animals. Experience with cats with diabetes, pets with blindness, deafness, and immobility. I enjoy caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and good care and enrichment is always my top priority! I like to check on my animals and animals I’m caring for a minimum of 3 times a day for 30 minutes each. With cats I like to spend time playing, setting up enrichment activities, and learning how they are most comfortable. With dogs I like to do a minimum of 3 walks a day followed by some of their favorite activities. I believe pets should be checked on morning, afternoon and evening at minimum. I like to follow the routine of the pets parents to a T so as to not disturb the pets while their families are gone. I think having a routine is important for a pet especially when their people/family are gone.
About: First, dogs are my world! I am not in financially stable to have my own furrbabies because I just graduated from Graduation school and currently working as a part-time in the evening. So, allow me to provide all attention to your furbabies when you are away! In those pictures, they are my family members’ pets; I was raised by 3 different dogs, from small to big sizes. I am very flexibility with last minutes, I will meet what you request, I have my own transport and is able to come by anytime. I have been petsitting since I was in highschool, also volunteered Animal Shelter once. Able to manage strong dogs on its leash. My personality is based on the furries, if they like to chill, I’ll chill with them, if they are active then I go active with them. I’d consider myself as a fast response, if you ever need anything or whatever, I am more than willing to accommodation quickly. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. Big, small, fluffy, energetic, you name it, i’ve done it. My family is full of animal lovers and I want to spread that love to other people’s animals as well. I have had every variaron of dog you can think of and they’re always my best friend. I do love cats as well, especially if they’re cuddly! My parents gave me responsibility of walking, feeding and bathing our dogs ever since I was 10-11 years old and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently work part time and am a student at UCDavis! I am graduating this year so I will have pretty open availability in the summer. My most free days are Wednesday-Thursday, with some availability on the weekends. I currently have a German Shepherd and she is an amazing dog. I try to take her on a a walk at least once a day and save time to play with her in our yard when I get home. When it comes to clients home's, I am a very quick learner and comfortable with doing what care is needed requested by the owners for each pet.
About: I am a regular volunteer at the YOLO animal shelter and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary. At home I take care of all of my exotic pets, I own a parakeet, cockatiel, bearded dragon, rat, and two fish tanks. About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out.
