“I know my dog had an amazing time. She looked happy and relaxed when I picked her up. My baby Roxie did well her dog and think they may have horsed around quite a bit since when we got home she just napped like she does after having park time. We got pictures and updates of Roxie and we could tell she was tended to and being loved as well. We were late to pick her up due to flight delays and eventually cancelations. Sylvia was easy to coordinate with for the extra unexpected day. Also, my dog was bitten by a dog the day before we dropped her off and she had meds and special instructions to which I know she kept a good eye on her as the wound/bite had healed and was looking good even 2days after the incident. I would totally recommend her as she is attentive and caring. Roxie is our baby girl and she can be timid but with Sylvia my doggie felt right at home!! That is priceless to know while we were so far away from our little girl.”

I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.

I work from 8am to 3pm so anytime before or after is no problem. I am completely free Saturdays and Sundays as well as summer and winter breaks. I’m available for drop ins or longer stays. I require at least an hour notice of your return so I know exactly when it’s ok to leave. You may simply message me that you are on the way back. If you give me a key please specify if you’d like me to put it under a mat or hand it to you directly. I will honestly just cuddle and sit with your pet so I offer near constant supervision. I can easily crate your pet if needed as well. I will say I do not do well with very large very hyper dogs unless they are well trained.

I recently got my first cat, and I have lived with several other dogs and cats. I do not have any professional experience grooming or dealing with animals, but I am more than willing to help out with letting dogs out, taking them on walks, etc. I definitely have plenty of experience walking dogs because of my little guy. About: I've always had dogs and crate trained my dogs. I know how to train basic commands but nothing really beyond that. I do love playing with dogs and also relaxing with them as well. I do work full time but I do work from home most of the week. So my schedule is pretty flexible for the most part. I have a fenced yard, and 4 friendly dogs. We do have 2 cats but they stay outside as they don't like our dogs. I make sure the the pet I babysit is comfortable and listen to instructions on the owners requests.

About: I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs, cats, chickens, geese ,goats, pigs, burrows and horses. Ive also provided medicine and wound care to most of these animals. Im retired so available all day on days available . I live on 3 acres and have 3 horses and chickens that are fenced in separately from the rest of my fenced in property. I also have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. I have a 1 1/2 year old 30 pound Rat Terrier that loves having other dogs around to play. About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. About: Austin loves hanging out with and caring for dogs. My Dogs House was created to help small and medium sized dogs have a safe and fun location to stay while their owners are busy or away. Reservations are limited as we only take a small number of well behaved dogs on a daily basis. My Dogs House is open everyday. Although reservations are limited we aim to be available at your convenience! A secondary staff member is available to assist on days that are busy or there are scheduling conflicts for Austin so the dogs are never left unattended. Inside kennels are available if needed or preferred. Yard is completely fenced. Austin provides daily updates, photos, and livestream video upon request to insure clients that their animal is getting the best care and attention.
