“Outstanding care, a True Dog whisperer. Sequoia Humane Society hired Mark to care for Browner an d Odie over the Thanksgiving holiday - Two large dogs! Both are known to struggle with other dogs, including each other. I was honestly preparing for this to simply be a safe, calm stay...what we got was something truly incredible. From the very beginning, Mark asked all the right questions about behavior, needs, routines and safety. It was clear he understood these were not "easy" dogs and approach their care with thoughtfulness, patience and professionalism. I encouraged him to try socializing them only if he felt right about an opportunity. To our complete surprise, Brownie and Odie became best friends almost immediately in his care. This is something we have not been able to achieve in a shelter environment and seeing that transformation was nothing short of amazing. About: I've had dogs my entire life so I have experience with dogs of all ages. I currently have a dog and two cats, and I'm also trusted in my neighborhood and amongst family and friends as someone to watch their animals when they're gone. Im a full time college student but I usually always have my own animals in my bedroom with me, sitting under (or on top of) my desk while I work. I have a friendly dog who absolutely loves play dates, so your dog would never get bored. My backyard is quite large so the dogs have tons of room to run around and play. The fences are regularly checked for holes under them to ensure our dog can't get out. I also have two large cat cages in my home where each of my cats sleep, but if needed, they can sleep in the same cage and the other one can be used to provide your pet some privacy, with their own food and water dishes. I have many many many interactive cat toys so even while i'm working, they can play with the toys that are attached to my desk and walls, along with scratching posts.

About: I've had large dogs since 1997. Currently I have 2 amazing dogs. A 3 legged great burnese, and a 1.2yr old burnese Mt. Dog. They are sweet and wonderful dogs with great manners and are super dog friendly. I also have 2 cats. Rick and Morty. They are a pair. Also very sweet and affectionate once they know you. They are indoor/outdoor 24/7 but avoid dogs. The love of my furry friends reflects who I am. I have 5 acres. This allows my dogs to mostly roam free as they stay close to home. It gives other dogs the opportunity to have a place to run around and play with other good dogs. There are also multiple leads amongst the property, as well as a gated and covered outside area if your pet isn't used to either of those situations. I spend almost all of my days working from home. So other than the occasional errand, I'm home. Otherwise, I exist for you and yours. My pets have water and food at all times. It's under a covered area so they are able to stay in the shade if they like. Otherwise my dogs are free to roam as they generally stay on the property. My property is not fenced. However with this undertaking dogs can be placed in the covered area when needed. They can be leaded if that's what you want. As well they are welcome in the house at any time. Your pets are free to relax anywhere they like. My dogs are very sweet and friendly. My 3 legged dog is not one to get to excited as he only has 3 legs. For the right dogs, my property is a paradise.

I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! About: Hi, I’m Virgo (formerly Jeremy)! I’ve been dog sitting my friends’ dogs for about 10yrs, and working for a dog trainer for about 2yrs. (My parents tell me I’ve loved dogs my whole life, but I can only partly confirm.) “I requested services from Amy to walk my dog Penny while I was out of town. Although I was unable to meet her in person, Amy exceeded my expectations. I was a little apprehensive about someone else walking my dog because she is still a young lab in training, Amy understood my concerns and made me feel comfortable with her services. On the days Amy would take Penny out, she constantly sent me updates with photos and videos of Penny playing with other dogs. Penny was also very well behaved with Amy, which was my concern, and that she listened to Amy. When penny was dropped off at my parents house, my mom would tell me how exhausted Penny would come home after a day with Amy and how well behaved she was after the walks. Overall, I’m very happy that I picked Amy and would definitely consider asking her again for her services again. She’s awesome!”

About: I always had big dogs growing up, standard poodles very active… and I have had my own dogs for 17 years. I love long walks and playful activity and attending to their needs. She is good on the beach or with leashes in city walks. We also play with toys and is ball focused.
