My dog loves big dog and her dog Tori was so well behaved and sweet around Moorea.”

Thank you so much, Ana!! :)”

“Had a really good experience with Patricia while we were in out of town. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and took great care of Bo while we were away. We appreciated the updates and knowing she was being looked after. It made traveling a lot less stressful, and we came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use her and her nice family again!”

“Siarra was BEYOND accommodating and welcoming to my big 85 lb pup. She was also very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors which provided me great comfort. This was his 1st stay away from home during the last year and we were gone for 4 days. Siarra made Hershey's first interactions with other dogs at the dog park fun and exciting. She treated him as her own and you can't ask for more than that.”

About: I've taken care of cats ever since I started volunteering at a shelter at 10 years old. Because of my 18 years of animal shelter work, I've befriended all kinds of cats with a range of personalities and needs. Though I love every cat I've ever met, my heart lies with the shy kitties. The joy I get from showing a nervous cat that I'm a friend is unmatched. Cats have enrichment needs too! I am commited to making sure your feline friend gets exactly what they need when you're away. Whether that's cuddling up together or a high-octane play session, I'm ready to provide! I'm serious about punctual, reliable care and keeping your bestie on the schedule they know and love. I was taught clicker-training by an actual cat trainer (yes, they exist!) and love to mentally enrich cats using soft clicks and lots of treats. I also have lots of experience with medicating our more particular cat friends as well as how to handle our more fractious feline friends! So if you've got a cat who has no problem expressing their boundaries or is a little sassy, I'm here to make sure they're safe and respected!

About: Ive always loved cats!! I've lived with over a dozen in my lifetime and Im always rescuing and saying hi to every kittenfish I meet. My Russian Blue and I are best friends and I pride myself on attention to detail. I am the sitter who will LISTEN to your pets needs and show up in a way that feels right for them. Never moving to fast and always respecting boundaries. I love making animals feel safe.

“Earl is great with flexibility, last minute bookings, and was gracious about my being almost ten minutes late due to traffic. His rate is very affordable and I really appreciated how my dog wasn’t left alone in the home. In terms of communication, I didn’t get much in terms of updates but was provided one when I asked how my dog wasn’t left doing. I also didn’t receive any check in pictures, which isn’t a big deal but always nice. I appreciate Earl and his brother Rob for their help!”

About: Hi there! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud pet parent who has been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. As an adult, that’s given me a lot of experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and quirks! ❤️ I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 100+ lbs and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m comfortable with behavioral challenges including anxiety, reactivity, and food aggression, and I have hands-on experience with puppy training and basic commands. Cats have also been a huge part of my life. I’ve lived in multi-cat households for most of my life and have experience with cats and kittens of all personalities. One of my most memorable experiences was when a stray cat came into my home and ended up giving birth to her kittens right on my lap! 🥹🐱 I’m also comfortable caring for chickens and have some experience with birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I regularly pet sit for friends and family, and I decided to join Rover because caring for animals is genuinely something I love doing. I work full-time, so pet sitting is my fun little side job—and I couldn’t ask for a better one! 🐶🐱💕 I don’t have any breed restrictions and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, so I’ll treat them like my own, communicate with you, and send updates as often as you’d like. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered, scaly, or fluffy!) family members! 🐾✨ I currently have morning and afternoon free time. If you have scheduling questions, please ask! I would love to work things out and care for your pet! I follow directions well, so if there are any specific needs I will do my best to meet them. I can communicate as much or as little as you need with app updates and pictures.

“Crystal is wonderful. She has a great setup at her house, and is an excellent communicator. My dog can be very anxious, but she is clearly comfortable staying with Crystal. Thanks!”

“Ashley is a compassionate, calm pet sitter. I scheduled a meet and greet with my dog Piper ahead of day care date. We were greeted warmly and Piper enthusiastically explored her peaceful, pet safe yard. Piper was eager to return for her day of fun, and loved her 3 walks and frisbee play. Thank you, Ashley!”

“Reliable and great! I’m a returning client as I trust her with my dogs and feel relaxed leaving them knowing they’re getting adequate needs met including long walks :) Amber is wonderful!”

“We were visiting the city and needed a sitter. They were so kind and accepted our request the day before. It was our first time leaving Lacey with someone we didn’t know, but they made sure we were comfortable and sent photos during her stay. So grateful we found them!”

“Lynette was very accommodating! She had a nice size yard for our husky to get her energy out and a pup for her to play with all day. We also appreciated that she was flexible about the hours!”

“Angela and her son were super accommodating with a last-minute request to dog sit. I felt like my pup was well cared for, and they were both super communicative and quick to respond. Highly recommend Angela for watching your furry friends.”

“Heather is a true professional. She suggested a meet and greet to confirm that my dog and the other dogs she was keeping would be compatible. That was a huge success so we brought our dog to her the next day for daycare. I can tell by the form I filled out for her, the questions she asked, and overall comments that she is very educated and experienced in taking care of dogs. My little furbaby was very happy when we picked him up. We will definitely use her services again.”

About: I’ve spent over ten years caring for dogs and cats of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to wise seniors. I work as a shepherd and look after sheep, goats and dogs, which has helped me stay calm, attentive and aware of behavior, safety, and fun. I’m trained in safe handling, bite prevention, and canine behavior and I rely on positive reinforcement to support pets. I take the responsibility of caring for your furry family seriously, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while in my care. Animals are part of my everyday life. I make sure pets get attention, walks, playtime, and companionship on a regular schedule so they’re happy and healthy. I prioritize safety and comfort in every home. “Kyle and his wife did a great job watching my 2 small dogs all day long for 2 days. They made sure all their needs were met and updated me throughout the day with pictures. Thank you, guys!”

“I couldn't have been more pleased with Julie! This was my 1st rover experience and I was a bit nervous. When my anxious pup took to her and her home pretty immediately, I relaxed and was able to enjoy some alone time by the pool on my "solo" birthday vacation. Julie is a gem!”

About: I will spoil your dog with attention and provide you with complete peace of mind. You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.

About: I have around five years of practical experience in providing dependable care for pets belonging to friends and family members. My pet experience includes walking, bathing, arranging meal times and treat routines, as well as enjoying quality time with them while their owners are away, sometimes for weeks at a time. Therefore, I feel quite confident in my ability to care for any dog for extended periods. Plus, I genuinely love going for daily walks every morning, and dogs always manage to bring a smile to my face. Since I'm on break, I'll be free Monday through Saturday, 5 days a week. What hours work best for you will work best for me! I will always review the guidelines given by my client for house-sitting or dog-walking services, and I will make sure to follow any additional instructions to a T. When I first meet a cat or dog, I take the time to understand the animal's temperament, checking for any signs of anxiety or specific likes and dislikes. I care a lot in ensuring that the pets feel secure when around someone new. After that, I simply enjoy spending time with them, hoping that they will grow to appreciate my company too!
About: I’ve worked at PESCM, a pet emergency hospital, that has given me the knowledge to properly care for animals to make sure there is no risk. I’m currently looking for something part-time with adorable animals and a way to get back to helping people with their pets in anyways I can. I have experience with my own two animals on how to crate train, to not interact with other animals in case of accidents or injuries, and on how to keep cats from escaping the safety of their own home.
About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

If things come up in the future they will be updated that week on my calendar if I become booked Whenever I leave to go run an errand I always check to make sure all the doors are locked. It is something I always do, even at my own home to make sure the pets are safe. I also like to take them out ever 2 hours just to be sure they are always relieved. If you ask for walks I always love doing them and getting some exercise for your dog and me!

“We loved using Lauren for our dog’s weekend stay! She provided daily updates and accommodated our dogs needs really well. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Brandi is amazing at what she does and I couldn't recommend her more! It's clear that her house is a home away from home for all the dogs that stay with her. She sent pictures and videos every day throughout our dog's stay and was always available for any questions we had. Thank you Brandi!”

“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”

Stacie was always quick to respond and sent photos while we were away, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

“I would absolutely recommend Liz to take care of your pup. Hugo had a great time and it’s a great space. The pictures she sent were all of our doggie smiling and sleeping and totally comfortable. We will be using Liz for daycare as well as future pet sitting.”

“I was warried leaving my shy dog but Lynette's experience was so valuable. She shared how Moorea felt comfortable after we left text and sent photos throughout the day. She knew exactly what to do with a shy dog and this saves so much time. It was a great experience and will be booking our vacation soon. My dog loves big dog and her dog Tori was so well behaved and sweet around Moorea.”

We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be.
