Walks twice a day, a calm demeanor, experience handling dogs who are fussy, a willingness to treat basic medical issues, including taking your dog to the vet ER, and not feel put upon to do it. The reason that we love Casey, however, is that she treats our dog as we do- lots of hugs and hanging out in the garden with a cold drink. Nothing special, but our dog is treated like our child, and Casey steps in as a beloved aunt. I never worry if my dog is unhappy with us leaving her when Casey is caring for her. That’s a real gift to our dog, and especially to us.”

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. OUR HOME This is a busy, real household with young children and visiting dogs, so we prioritize boundaries and consistency. Dogs are welcome on furniture during the day, but dogs do not sleep in bed with us. We also have a Mini Australian Shepherd rescue, Ginger. She’s a sweet part of our home but prefers distance from new people. You may hear her when you arrive — that’s normal — and we always manage greetings carefully. EXPERIENCE & SAFETY Mandi has cared for dogs for 17 years and has emergency/animal CPR training, plus experience with medications and senior dogs. Cesar has been walking and caring for dogs for years as well. We work remotely, so someone is usually home during the day, but we do not offer constant care — dogs must be comfortable being left alone for a minimum of 2 hours. Insurance note: Rover’s protections apply to Rover bookings. We also carry additional third party insurance. OUR POLICIES (Quick Version) 1. Spayed females only (exception: puppies under 4 months). Dogs must be current on vaccinations and on flea/tick + heartworm prevention. Vet records required for new clients. 4. We may post photos from stays on our website/social/Rover. This enables us to enjoy spending time with your dog with frequent vineyard views and potty breaks. However if your pet needs constant care, please let us know before booking. We have a large outdoor space at your dog's paws. Between the vineyard and the river, there's a wonderful world to explore! The vineyard is partially fenced, however, we keep dogs on leashes during their outings at all times unless they have reliable recall at the owner’s discretion. We utilize crates to keep dogs separated during mealtimes and when unsupervised (at night). We also have a gate setup outside as an extra barrier. In addition to Rover's insurance, we have a 3rd party insurance policy because your dog's care is our priority.

About: I've owned at least one pet consistently since I was 5 years old. I was a pre-vet major when I started college, have worked in veterinary offices, volunteered at the humane society and have been pet sitting for years. I absolutely adore animals and love having them around. I work full time from home and share custody of my son and my dog who are with me (about) every other week. Both my dog and my son love animals are are very friendly, kinda and loving to all pets and they both love to play with other dogs! I have a cat at home as well who is dog friendly and sometimes plays with my dog or will hide when not in the mood. Pet care is a daily routine for me. We'd love for your furry friend to join our walks and home for lots of fun and play while you're away! I take great pride in learning what makes your pets the most comfortable while you're away. If you prefer me to stay in your home that is of course the least stressful for your furbaby. If you prefer I host your furbaby(s) at my home, my cat and dog (depending on the time you book) will keep them company and have lots of play time and snuggles! I have a small fenced yard but nearby dog parks and homemade treats! Because I work from home dogs are given daily walks and several opportunities to go to the bathroom outside. If a dog goes to the bathroom in the house repeatedly, a $150 cleaning fee will be added to your booking. I make every effort to work with you and the dog to prevent this but if it continues the fee will be added to your stay.

I have two pets of my own a black cat named velvet and a goldendoodle dog named Chloe. Im currently working on part time, im available Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies!! And we’ll have lots of fun together hopefully. I have a smaller backyard but it’s spacious I also live in more of a small neighborhood so there’s a lot of sidewalks for walking your fur babies
About: Ever since I can remember i’ve been surrounded by many different animal personalities. From the doggies I have loved, the puppies i've been blessed to bring into my home, and the many other creatures i’ve been able to care for. I have had 8 dogs and 6 cats in my lifetime and a plethora of other fun friends along the way. I sat beside my beautiful Golden as she delivered 2 litters of puppies and cared for them until other families had that privilege. Animals have always been a passion of mine, and all dogs and cats I get the honor to care for are loved just as I would love my own. I have dog sat and taken care of many animals of my friends and family, and I’m excited to expand my caregiver passion. I’m currently on my summer break from college, and I’m pretty much free all the time! Once school starts up again I can work around my schedule. But I am always available Friday-Sunday! I am able to do whatever is necessary for specific pet care in anyone’s home. I am very respectful of clients environments and personal expectations.
About: During my break from college, I found myself in quite the pickle about career exploration. When a friend of mine registered with Rover, since she has a passion for animals and aspires to be a veterinarian, her enthusiasm motivated me to try dog walking. Personally, I really love going for daily walks each morning, and dogs never fail to warm my heart. Up to now, I have three years of experience caring for my friends' pets, whether it's taking them to my family's home or spending quality time with them when their owners are unavailable. I've walked them, washed them, and played with them when they syard with me, so Im fairly cofnidnet I can take care of any dog owners pets for long periods of time. Since I'm on break, I'll be free Monday through Saturday, 5 days a week. What hours work best for you will work best for me! Well I first read the instructions provided by my client for house-sitting or dog-walking services. Then I make sure to get a feel on an animal's sensitivity, whether it feels anxious or has any personal preferences, so I can ensure pets feel safe both emotionally and physically. After that, I enjoy their company, and hope they enjoy mine!

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.

You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.
