“Elaine was a perfect host. She sent text and videos to assure me my Border Collie was well taken care of. She agreed to keep Charlie over Thanksgiving on short notice. I would highly recomemnd her.”

“Carolyn was a great dog sitter! One of the best we've ever had. Conscientious, caring, attentive. Followed through on our routine with feeding and activity. Thank you for everything!”

About: I provide attentive, personalized care for your pets, ensuring their comfort and safety while you're away. Drop-Ins: During my visits, I take several photos of your pets and provide detailed updates on their behavior and the tasks I've completed. This keeps you informed and reassured about their well-being. Walks: For dog walks, I make sure to secure your dog with their leash, collar, and/or harness before locking up. I prioritize your pet's safety by staying on grassy areas or white pavement to protect their paws from hot surfaces. Availability: I am a full time nursing student as of August 2025 through 2027. I have a cat and dog of my own. A lot of my availability is dependent on the week, so please reach out so I can review what you need and let you know my availability asap. It doesn’t hurt to ask :) Home Care: I treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect. A meet-and-greet helps us both feel comfortable with your pet, possessions, and access to your home. I'm usually available for these meetings upon request. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in my services! I have a cat and dog, so overnight stays may not be available. Please let me know how I can assist you and when I can be of help. I will treat your pets as my own! I use Rover as well for my pets occasionally and expect the same from others. It takes a lot to trust others with your fur babies!
“I was worried at first because it was my dog’s first boarding experience. After receiving multiple videos and saw how happy my dog was I felt relieved. Elaine was super pleasant and welcoming. If you are looking for a reliable sitter for your pet I would recommend booking.”

“Chelsea did an amazing job taking care of our dog she is very approachable and attentive to any requests. We 100% recommend her and will consider her for future needs when looking for someone to take care of our dog.”

“Giovanni was amazing with my dog Max. I had him boarded for 4 nights and it was worth every penny. Very communicative and even sent a link to his pet cam. I could see that my dog had a good time with him. I will definitely be using Gio next time I need a sitter. Please tip this man!!!”

“Paulette and her husband took great care of our fur baby over the weekend. We will be using her services again in the future. Lots of updates and pictures. Thank you again, Paulette :)”

“Nilla & I love Becky she is a great, thorough, caring and thoughtful dog sitter. She really does walk your dog and she has a nice quiet relaxing clean home. Nilla was very happy with Becky. However, Nilla needs a yard to run, chase and bark as she is still very spirited. We would use Becky again if Nilla was calmer.”

About: Hi, I’m Lacy! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 9 through 4-H, where I learned patience, responsibility, and how to care for animals like family. I’m now a dog mom myself, and when I’m not helping people around Yuma as a Realtor, I’d love to help care for your pup too. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new, so I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because my schedule is pretty open for the most part. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they get the care, attention, and love they’re used to. I’m very open to caring for pets in their own home, where they may already feel most comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal routine with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.
“Chantal was an amazing host for our dog Millie, and quite possibly our favorite from our years on Rover. As soon as I met her, I knew she was responsible and caring. Her frequent updates made us feel at ease and allowed us to enjoy our family vacation knowing our dog was in great hands. She really went out of her way to give Millie her daily walks and time outside in the park. Pretty sure she didn't want to go home after all that pampering! Thank you Chantal!”

“Danielle did a great job looking after my Ruby! She listened to me explain her feeding routine and the nature of my pet. She sent me updates and pictures of my Ruby. I would not hesitate to reach out to her to look after my pet again !”

“Melissa was amazing! She took great care of my two cats, one of which needs fluids and other medicines. She was very responsive and gave them extra attention. She got pictures when she could have my shyer cat, and always had a positive attitude even when they dodged pattings or medicines. Awesome sitter!”

“Makyla is an amazing pet sitter. She has watched my cat 5 times now and every time she makes me feel so at ease while I’m away. She truly goes above and beyond. Plus, my cat loves her!! Makyla is the best!!”

About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life. I wouldn't say I have a way with them, but I understand them enough to meet their needs and keep them happy. Plus, I love activity and exercise, so a lot of dogs gravitate to me after a walk or 2 I'm currently working part-time, but my schedule doesn't have a lot of consistency. However, it does come with flexibility. I'm also very much a morning person, and I love to start my day with some activity. I am a massive stickler for the rules. If your dog has a strict schedule, is being trained, or has dietary issues, I will follow each and every rule you have. Plus, I absolutely adore animals. Big or small, cat or dog, I will treat your family like my own

“Beck boarded my cat for 3 days it was a super short notice she was very responsive and kind sent tons of pictures and videos of my cat ! Oh also my cat is a really shy and mean and she warmed up to Becky very fast!”

“Absolutely enjoyed knowing Kari was watching my 4 kittos. She sent daily updates and pictures to let us know they were doing okay while we were gone. Crockpot especially loved getting loved on by her. (She sent us some belly rub pictures.) Even our more shy cats were doing good. When we came home all were in good spirits. Would rehire her, and I do recommend.”

“Our cats met us on our return with smiles on their faces. Food, water, and cat boxes were filled properly, can't ask for more. Shylynn will become our go to for any future trips.”

About: I've lived with cats since I was 6 and currently live with 4 different cats, long hair to short hair tabby. I have also worked in a car shelfter here in Yuma, Homewardbound cat shelter. I love kittens and cats
“John dropped in on our Bengal cat Murphy daily during our vacation in the Caribbean. We met face to face beforehand, and John was a nice, normal guy. Super responsive to text. The app notified us every time John started the drop-in visit and when it ended. John always fed, changed water, cleaned the litter, played with and pet Murphy. He sent me three or four pictures each day, and commented on how Murphy was doing. When we came home, everything was perfect, Murphy was happy, and John came by to return the key at my convenience. Five stars, you couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.”

About: Hello! My name is Mia. And growing up our house was always full of animals mostly due to my dads ability to have strays “mysteriously” follow him home. Which then caused me and my sisters to follow in his footsteps which then led to a house full of dogs and cats. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. But for most of my life we only had large dogs but as of 3 years ago we adopted a chihuahua mix named Snooki from the humane society who became our first official small dog of the home. Followed by a French bulldog, brownie, who we were fostering and then came to adopt. In my pet sitting experience I have had seniors and puppies. Each dog has their own unique personality that can require patience, consistency, and giving them lots of attention. I am comfortable with maintaining feeding schedules, routines, and providing an environment that feels like home while also tailoring to their needs. As a pet owner myself I know the importance of trust, safety, and communication are to pet owners. My goal is to make sure that I give safe, comfortable and loving care to your pet that gives both you and your pet a peace of mind. I am currently a college student that is taking 3 classes. Monday-Thursday are when my classes are from time 8:30am-4:00pm. But Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s I have free time. I care for pets in the clients home by following the instructions or rules that were given to me. And also my keeping the dogs routine and environment as close to their “normal” as possible.
About: I have been caring /training pets since I was little. I have cared for senior pets needing meds and IV fluids. I have a pet CPR certification, I have also been to vet tech school and am a certified assistant vet tech. I currently work at a vet hospital. I believe every pet deserves to be spoiled in every possible way. Also if you Zelle me it’s cheaper instead of paying through the app! I currently work at a vet hospital. I love taking pets on hikes and playing in the grass, I also love my big cuddle buddies. I do training, i am more than happy to teach your pet something that you would like them to know to make your life easier. Any meds your pet needs, I am more than happy to give them. If your pet has any interesting quirks, I can easily adjust to what they need. Please make sure your dog is dog friendly. For your dogs safety they will go in a kennel when no one is home.

“Mrs. Chantal is absolutely fantastic! She provides superb service. I’ve booked her twice now (and more to come!) and both times Jackson has had the time of his life with her and her family. “I feel so lucky to have found Laiza. It is hard to leave your dog with a stranger but Laiza has such a loving presence my nervous dog felt comfortable with her immediately. She sent me great photos during the day with updates on how Wags was doing. Her reviews and repeat bookings speak for themselves. I recommend her highly and hope to book her again next week.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with this sitter for doggy daycare through Rover! They were even taken on walks, which we really appreciated. The sitter was communicative, kind, and clearly cared about making sure our pups felt comfortable. Their little boy absolutely loved playing with and cuddling our dogs, and it was so sweet knowing they were getting extra love and attention throughout the day. Our dogs came home happy and relaxed. We enjoyed receiving photos of them while we were away too. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend!”

“Paulette was absolutely great. Very organized and experienced caring for dogs. She took the dogs for two walks. The dogs loved her and were very confident and calm when I picked them up. She did a meet-and-greet the day before the first day care to meet the dogs and get information about their preferences. I would highly recommend her and use her again. She was very responsive by text and phone.”

“Joleesha and Josh love on my dog like he’s their own. They’re so flexible with scheduling. I have peace of mind every day that, when I leave my dog and work crazy hours, that he is happy and cared for and loved on. They’re the best, and my dog loves them.”

Rocky had a great time, and I appreciated receiving photos and updates throughout the day. It’s such a relief to have found a reliable local sitter that Rocky enjoys spending time with. Very happy with the experience and will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have been walking and house sitting dogs and cats since I was about 15 years old off and on just to help my neighbors out (I’m currently 21). I’m very comfortable with animals and understanding of their weird quirks as I grew up on a farm. I have owned and fostered many different sizes of dogs, from Pyrenees to Chihuahua, I love them all! I originally from Yosemite, CA but I just moved to Arizona and would love to help anyone with their pet needs. I have just moved to Arizona from California and am new to the area but very eager to explore! I can be available day or night to be with your animals. I have my own car and no kids (just a husband lol) so I don’t have too much that’s holding me down! My husband is in the Marine Corps working in ATC on base. I will be completely respectful of a clients home and leave it just as it was found. I would also be completely respectful and caring towards any animal. My last job was as a housekeeper so I am no stranger to keeping a place tidy! I have pet sat for many neighbors and friends since I was 15 years old and am very comfortable around animals. For an animals safety and care I would love to send pictures, videos, or even FaceTime when it’s convenient for the client!
“Danielle is the most ultimate Dog Walker I’ve met. She listens to your instructions. She seems to be very gentle and loving with my Athena and Athena cooperates with her well, so that is very good. I appreciate you very much Danielle. ❤️”

“Lana was a great dog sitter for my babies. She went an extra mile to keep them safe from the hot weather and safe at home. When I came I could tell they were happy and well taken care of. :)”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind. I love dogs and they love me. I've been caring for dogs for 20 years. Animals are my passion in life. I have 2 small dogs and 2 cats. I am currently working part time and have plenty of time to care for your precious babies. I love animals. Your babies will be in good company with me. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room for your fur babies to roam around in. I also provide crates if needed for your fur babies.
About: I understand that most animals need companionship when they are lonely. They want to feel loved and have their needs met while their humans are away. I’ve had a couple of senior dogs of my own before and have taken care of them daily by helping them outside to potty and being gentle with walks by going slower and giving them lots of chatty time and treats if they are allowed. Making sure they have access to clean water and food if being fed. I don’t mind cleaning up any accidents that may have happened before I arrived. We have had puppies a few times and know they need boundaries and lots of play time and affection to grow up and be happy sociable dogs. I love taking them on walks and teaching them to sit and stay. I’m also knowledgeable with feeding them and providing clean water and potty time as needed- also putting them back in their crates if they are crated. Dogs love to be talked to and brushed and petted and told how adorable they are every single day! I currently work part time and am looking to work a little more to earn money. Since I love animals it makes sense to earn money helping people with their pets I prefer to care for my client’s pets in their home or yard. I can crate animals and feed them and give medication(s)- let them out to play and take them on walks or to a nearby park if preferred. I will make sure they each have clean water, feed them if required or give them a treat, and a hug when I leave and make sure they are secured and the door/gate/cage door(s) are all locked before leaving
“Kari was great!. She took amazing care of my dogs and always kept me updated with how they were doing, what adventures they had, etc. She took the time to meet and greet with them twice and they really liked her and enjoyed her company. She also listened to everything I had to tell her about my dogs and their schedule. I was able to go away for a few days feeling confident they were in good hands, and did not have to worry about them while I was away. Thank you!”

I will always find a way to put animals first into my schedule, as i love animals! I would provide the safest and most comfortable home for the kitties and puppies! As well as going into someone’s home have complete communication with the owners!
“John was very helpful when I had a change of plans last minute and needed someone to walk and check in on my dog. I would highly recommend him and will be using his services in the future for sure.”

About: Every pet I've had in the past was a member of my family and very much loved. I don't have a pet at the present time. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
About: I've taken care of small pups and grown dogs ever since little. My Mom's German Shepherd had a few of her own two times. We cared for these guys, pampering them until it was time to be taken off to a new home. At eight, I had my first own pup, whom I named Canelo. He was a golden brown poodle with messy hair and floppy ears. Unfortunately, after a family vacation gone away, an unreliable sitter left at home, he ran away. A few years later, I got Kiri, my loving house kitty. She's soon to be four years old now and she remains as small and strong as when she was little. I am currently not working, clearing up my schedule and making it free and flexible! I'm specially available evenings and mornings- I'm sure your pets will too. I love every single pet. I will do my very best to make them feel as safe as any pet owner would want their pet to feel. Snuggles and playtime are a must.
About: I don’t accept hugs or kisses (only from fur babies). I will not book you again if you don’t respect my personal space. I rarely do last minute bookings (even if you are an established client). I do meet and greets at the park. I will observe your dog and also how you interact with me and your dog. After our meet and greet, I will provide my home address. Starting 2025, I will be taking time off for my birthday, my husband’s birthday, Valentine’s Day (and weekend), the second day of the county fair, the month of November and December (I will be preparing for a full marathon), as well the first week of January. Please check my calendar for availability. Unexpected life events or situations may arise. Thank you for your understanding .🙏🏼😊🥰❤️ I am not a trainer but I will give your dogs all the love and attention as if they were mine ❤️. You can read my reviews to find out what my clients think of my services. Please also look at all the pictures (I have over 300 pictures posted) so you can get an idea of what your dog will experience at my house. If you decide to go with a different sitter, I hope this information helps you. The care of your best furry friend matters. Don’t go with mediocre care just because it cost less. Do a meet and greet, schedule a day (or multiple days) of daycare or a night of boarding to see how your sitter interacts with your dog during the booking. There has only been one Rover sitter that has met my expectations (for boarding). She doesn’t live in Yuma. Whenever I have an emergency, I have to travel 5 hours to take my dogs to her. It is worth the drive. I only accept dogs that have all their shots (including Bordatella for kennel cough). I let all dogs roam freely around the house. If your dog is not potty trained or urinates out of anxiety, I will provide diapers. All dogs need to be picked up before 8pm (I rarely make exceptions depending on the situation). I wake up early and work hard all day with the fur babies so please respect my time. If you talk to me for long periods of time at drop off or pick up, I won’t book you anymore. I rather spend my time with the dogs. This is not mean. The dogs have taught me to be honest and authentic. I will also not provide service if your child is behaving like they are at a playground. This is not a park or a child care center. Please do not message me constantly, spy on me, or come look for me at my house to convince me to provide dog sitting services. This is a violation to my privacy. Please read all details. If you are new to Rover, you save $20 with promocode: LAIZAG47087 The following description is to help those who are new to Rover. Boarding-over night stay at my house Day Care-up to 8 hours Home drop-in visits(does not include a walk)- 30 min to an hour home visit to check on dog(s), administer medication, play with them, give them affection and make sure they have food and clean water. I highly recommend one hour so I can spend enough time with your dog(s) and prevent them from getting anxious. I will not book any adult dog that is expected to hold their pee for more that 8 hours during the day and for more than 12 hours at night. For puppies, my policy is not more than 4 hour during the day and not more than 7 hours at night. Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Walks -30 minutes to an hour walk (I highly recommend an hour walk if your dog is alone most of the day). This will prevent them from getting anxious. *The total cost of service includes a one time Rover fee (that money goes to Rover). *Rover takes 20% percentage of my pay. *Extended stay fee is automatically added if you drop off and pick up time are not the same (I receive 50% of that fee). This is to compensate sitters for their extra time. *Please do not send me your phone number or ask me for my personal number in an attempt to make a deal outside Rover. Rover can track the conversion. I think is important to have our meet and greet first. My rates won’t change. I will not book anyone who is hostile, aggressive, acts entitled or doesn’t respect my work or time. *once you send me a booking request, I will set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet is to decide if we are a good fit for each other. Meeting is NEVER more than 20 minutes. I respect your time, please respect mine. *if everything goes well at meet and greet, we can both accept booking. Rover will ask you to enter you credit card information to process your payment. The booking becomes official once the payment goes through. Some client find it helpful to bring their dog to day care before actually boarding their dog. This will help your dog become more familiar with me and our home. This also reduces the level of anxiety. It gives me us an opportunity to get to know each other. For large breeds, you must book a day of daycare before actually boarding your dog. It gives me an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with me and other dogs. This is to ensure all dogs are happy and safe. The following breeds must be crate trained (I can provide crate): Pit bull (or any Pit Bull mix), Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow and Cane Corso. I will only crate them if I need to step out of the house (for a short period of time). These breeds need to be well socialized and exercised in order for me to provide daycare or boarding. I do make exceptions with dogs who have been traumatized in a crate. I will never put your dog in a crate if they go into survival mode. *If you are an established client and you are having issues with the Rover App, I can actually request booking for you (just send me a message in our latest conversation). I can also modify your booking (up to the booking date) in case you need to make changes. *If you are running late for drop off or pick-up (30 minutes to an hour), there will be no extra charge as long as you let me know in advance. I value your time, please value mine. *100% of the money you tip me goes to me. A tip is not a requirement. Thank you 🙏🏼❤️. *I'm usually not on my phone between the hours of 9AM and 9PM. I decided to try Rover as an attempt to be a full-time fur mom. I fell in love with the whole experience. All dogs come with a message of love and compassion. I am very grateful to my clients for their respect, kindness and trust. Dog sitting has allow me to meet some of the most beautiful people in the world. ❤️ I put my heart and soul into taking care of beautiful dogs. This is not a side job or a hobby. This is my full time job and I am proud of it. I know how hard it can be to find the right person to take care of our fur friends. I had struggles of my own. I was not able to find a long term dog sitter for my dogs. Luckily, I am now able to stay home with them. I am the daughter of immigrant parents. I was born in California but raised in San Luis, Mexico. I have a masters degree in Human Relations, a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minor in Chemistry. I been married for 8 years. My husband is a veteran and he loves dogs. He helps me with the dogs on the weekends. You will see him in some of the pictures. In the past, I have mainly worked with children and teens (P.E Teacher and Academic Success Advisor). I have also had other jobs such as administrative Specialist, Community Specialist, Zumba Instructor, Substitute Teacher, Academic Advisor and Testing Coordinator. During Covid, I developed my own business mentoring children and teens (for emotional support). From all the jobs I have performed, dog sitting has been the most tender to my soul. I learn how to be kind and compassionate to myself and set clear boundaries with humans. 🥰❤️ My dogs will not be part of the meet and greet. I have learned to introduce dogs slowly (as well as toys). There is no rush. Dogs have different temperaments. Some dogs act differently around their owner and some dogs need time to adjust to each other. Your dog's comfort and safety are my priority. I will let you know if they don’t get along. You don’t need to be present. Thank you! I spend my day with the dogs. I even take them on car rides except when the weather doesn't permit it (high temperatures of 115 and above because you can’t even feel the AC in the car). I sometimes have to step out of the house to attend to a doctor's appointment, pick up a dog or walk a dog. It's never more than 2/3 hours. If your dog doesn’t like to be created, that’s totally fine with me as long as they are ok staying at home. I let dogs roam freely around the house but if you have specific instructions, I will make sure to follow your instructions. I don't take in more than 5 dogs at a time. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs. I will provide you with at least one daily update (with pictures). You are welcome to request more updates. Please bring dog’s food. This is extremely important because some dogs develop an upset stomach due to sudden food changes. If your dog doesn't like dry food, please bring frozen cook meals for me to warm up.

“Elaine was a perfect host. She sent text and videos to assure me my Border Collie was well taken care of. She agreed to keep Charlie over Thanksgiving on short notice. I would highly recomemnd her.”
