Drop-Ins: During my visits, I take several photos of your pets and provide detailed updates on their behavior and the tasks I've completed. This keeps you informed and reassured about their well-being. Walks: For dog walks, I make sure to secure your dog with their leash, collar, and/or harness before locking up. I prioritize your pet's safety by staying on grassy areas or white pavement to protect their paws from hot surfaces. Availability: I am a full time nursing student as of August 2025 through 2027. I have a cat and dog of my own. A lot of my availability is dependent on the week, so please reach out so I can review what you need and let you know my availability asap. It doesn’t hurt to ask :) Home Care: I treat your home and belongings with the utmost respect. A meet-and-greet helps us both feel comfortable with your pet, possessions, and access to your home. I'm usually available for these meetings upon request. Feel free to reach out if you're interested in my services! I have a cat and dog, so overnight stays may not be available. About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life. I wouldn't say I have a way with them, but I understand them enough to meet their needs and keep them happy. Plus, I love activity and exercise, so a lot of dogs gravitate to me after a walk or 2 I'm currently working part-time, but my schedule doesn't have a lot of consistency. However, it does come with flexibility. I'm also very much a morning person, and I love to start my day with some activity. I am a massive stickler for the rules. If your dog has a strict schedule, is being trained, or has dietary issues, I will follow each and every rule you have. Plus, I absolutely adore animals. “John dropped in on our Bengal cat Murphy daily during our vacation in the Caribbean. We met face to face beforehand, and John was a nice, normal guy. Super responsive to text. The app notified us every time John started the drop-in visit and when it ended. John always fed, changed water, cleaned the litter, played with and pet Murphy. He sent me three or four pictures each day, and commented on how Murphy was doing. When we came home, everything was perfect, Murphy was happy, and John came by to return the key at my convenience. Five stars, you couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend.”
About: Hello! My name is Mia. And growing up our house was always full of animals mostly due to my dads ability to have strays “mysteriously” follow him home. Which then caused me and my sisters to follow in his footsteps which then led to a house full of dogs and cats. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. But for most of my life we only had large dogs but as of 3 years ago we adopted a chihuahua mix named Snooki from the humane society who became our first official small dog of the home. Followed by a French bulldog, brownie, who we were fostering and then came to adopt. In my pet sitting experience I have had seniors and puppies. Each dog has their own unique personality that can require patience, consistency, and giving them lots of attention. I am comfortable with maintaining feeding schedules, routines, and providing an environment that feels like home while also tailoring to their needs. About: I have been walking and house sitting dogs and cats since I was about 15 years old off and on just to help my neighbors out (I’m currently 21). I’m very comfortable with animals and understanding of their weird quirks as I grew up on a farm. I have owned and fostered many different sizes of dogs, from Pyrenees to Chihuahua, I love them all! I originally from Yosemite, CA but I just moved to Arizona and would love to help anyone with their pet needs. I have just moved to Arizona from California and am new to the area but very eager to explore! I can be available day or night to be with your animals. I have my own car and no kids (just a husband lol) so I don’t have too much that’s holding me down! My husband is in the Marine Corps working in ATC on base. About: I understand that most animals need companionship when they are lonely. They want to feel loved and have their needs met while their humans are away. I’ve had a couple of senior dogs of my own before and have taken care of them daily by helping them outside to potty and being gentle with walks by going slower and giving them lots of chatty time and treats if they are allowed. Making sure they have access to clean water and food if being fed. I don’t mind cleaning up any accidents that may have happened before I arrived. We have had puppies a few times and know they need boundaries and lots of play time and affection to grow up and be happy sociable dogs. I love taking them on walks and teaching them to sit and stay. I’m also knowledgeable with feeding them and providing clean water and potty time as needed- also putting them back in their crates if they are crated. Dogs love to be talked to and brushed and petted and told how adorable they are every single day! I currently work part time and am looking to work a little more to earn money. Since I love animals it makes sense to earn money helping people with their pets I prefer to care for my client’s pets in their home or yard. I can crate animals and feed them and give medication(s)- let them out to play and take them on walks or to a nearby park if preferred. I am retired so I have plenty of time to help pet owners with anything they might need. Keeps me busy with a purpose. I provide all types of care and meet and greets are required. I don't do puppies unless it's house sitting. FYI: If you book during a non-federal holiday (i.e. Palm Sunday, Easter, etc.) and also if travel is more than 20 miles from me, my prices might be adjusted upwards to accommodate. I have a fenced front/back yard, a large grass common area and a community dog park/run for pups to run and play in without a leash.
About: I've taken care of small pups and grown dogs ever since little. My Mom's German Shepherd had a few of her own two times. We cared for these guys, pampering them until it was time to be taken off to a new home. At eight, I had my first own pup, whom I named Canelo. He was a golden brown poodle with messy hair and floppy ears. Unfortunately, after a family vacation gone away, an unreliable sitter left at home, he ran away. A few years later, I got Kiri, my loving house kitty. She's soon to be four years old now and she remains as small and strong as when she was little. I am currently not working, clearing up my schedule and making it free and flexible! I'm specially available evenings and mornings- I'm sure your pets will too. I love every single pet. It is worth the drive. I only accept dogs that have all their shots (including Bordatella for kennel cough). I let all dogs roam freely around the house. If your dog is not potty trained or urinates out of anxiety, I will provide diapers. All dogs need to be picked up before 8pm (I rarely make exceptions depending on the situation). I wake up early and work hard all day with the fur babies so please respect my time. If you talk to me for long periods of time at drop off or pick up, I won’t book you anymore. I rather spend my time with the dogs. This is not mean. The dogs have taught me to be honest and authentic. I will also not provide service if your child is behaving like they are at a playground. This is not a park or a child care center. Please do not message me constantly, spy on me, or come look for me at my house to convince me to provide dog sitting services. Boarding-over night stay at my house Day Care-up to 8 hours Home drop-in visits(does not include a walk)- 30 min to an hour home visit to check on dog(s), administer medication, play with them, give them affection and make sure they have food and clean water. I highly recommend one hour so I can spend enough time with your dog(s) and prevent them from getting anxious. I will not book any adult dog that is expected to hold their pee for more that 8 hours during the day and for more than 12 hours at night. For puppies, my policy is not more than 4 hour during the day and not more than 7 hours at night. Your dog’s comfort is my priority. Walks -30 minutes to an hour walk (I highly recommend an hour walk if your dog is alone most of the day). This will prevent them from getting anxious. *The total cost of service includes a one time Rover fee (that money goes to Rover). *Rover takes 20% percentage of my pay. *Extended stay fee is automatically added if you drop off and pick up time are not the same (I receive 50% of that fee). This is to compensate sitters for their extra time. *Please do not send me your phone number or ask me for my personal number in an attempt to make a deal outside Rover. Rover can track the conversion. I think is important to have our meet and greet first. My rates won’t change. I will not book anyone who is hostile, aggressive, acts entitled or doesn’t respect my work or time. *once you send me a booking request, I will set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet is to decide if we are a good fit for each other. Meeting is NEVER more than 20 minutes. I respect your time, please respect mine. *if everything goes well at meet and greet, we can both accept booking. Rover will ask you to enter you credit card information to process your payment. The booking becomes official once the payment goes through. Some client find it helpful to bring their dog to day care before actually boarding their dog. This will help your dog become more familiar with me and our home. This also reduces the level of anxiety. It gives me us an opportunity to get to know each other. For large breeds, you must book a day of daycare before actually boarding your dog. It gives me an opportunity to see how your dog interacts with me and other dogs. This is to ensure all dogs are happy and safe. The following breeds must be crate trained (I can provide crate): Pit bull (or any Pit Bull mix), Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Siberian Husky, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow and Cane Corso. I will only crate them if I need to step out of the house (for a short period of time). These breeds need to be well socialized and exercised in order for me to provide daycare or boarding. I do make exceptions with dogs who have been traumatized in a crate. I will never put your dog in a crate if they go into survival mode. *If you are an established client and you are having issues with the Rover App, I can actually request booking for you (just send me a message in our latest conversation). I can also modify your booking (up to the booking date) in case you need to make changes. *If you are running late for drop off or pick-up (30 minutes to an hour), there will be no extra charge as long as you let me know in advance. I value your time, please value mine. *100% of the money you tip me goes to me. A tip is not a requirement. Thank you 🙏🏼❤️. *I'm usually not on my phone between the hours of 9AM and 9PM. I decided to try Rover as an attempt to be a full-time fur mom. I fell in love with the whole experience. All dogs come with a message of love and compassion. I am very grateful to my clients for their respect, kindness and trust. Dog sitting has allow me to meet some of the most beautiful people in the world. ❤️ I put my heart and soul into taking care of beautiful dogs. This is not a side job or a hobby. This is my full time job and I am proud of it. I know how hard it can be to find the right person to take care of our fur friends. I had struggles of my own. I was not able to find a long term dog sitter for my dogs. Luckily, I am now able to stay home with them. I am the daughter of immigrant parents. I was born in California but raised in San Luis, Mexico. I have a masters degree in Human Relations, a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and minor in Chemistry. I been married for 8 years. My husband is a veteran and he loves dogs. He helps me with the dogs on the weekends. You will see him in some of the pictures. In the past, I have mainly worked with children and teens (P.E Teacher and Academic Success Advisor). I have also had other jobs such as administrative Specialist, Community Specialist, Zumba Instructor, Substitute Teacher, Academic Advisor and Testing Coordinator. During Covid, I developed my own business mentoring children and teens (for emotional support). From all the jobs I have performed, dog sitting has been the most tender to my soul. I learn how to be kind and compassionate to myself and set clear boundaries with humans. 🥰❤️ My dogs will not be part of the meet and greet. I have learned to introduce dogs slowly (as well as toys). There is no rush. Dogs have different temperaments. Some dogs act differently around their owner and some dogs need time to adjust to each other. Your dog's comfort and safety are my priority. I will let you know if they don’t get along. You don’t need to be present. Thank you! I spend my day with the dogs. I even take them on car rides except when the weather doesn't permit it (high temperatures of 115 and above because you can’t even feel the AC in the car). I sometimes have to step out of the house to attend to a doctor's appointment, pick up a dog or walk a dog. It's never more than 2/3 hours. If your dog doesn’t like to be created, that’s totally fine with me as long as they are ok staying at home. I let dogs roam freely around the house but if you have specific instructions, I will make sure to follow your instructions. I don't take in more than 5 dogs at a time. This is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all dogs. I will provide you with at least one daily update (with pictures). You are welcome to request more updates. Please bring dog’s food. This is extremely important because some dogs develop an upset stomach due to sudden food changes. If your dog doesn't like dry food, please bring frozen cook meals for me to warm up.
About: I've had fuzzy friends all my life, raised with them and have a few of my own. Very familiar with healer breed. Love my critters I have a lot of free time as it stands. I can do morning and evening services on nearly any day of the given week. Lead with love. When you make all your decisions from a place of love, things tend to work out just fine. They have for me.
About: Well I’ve owned several of my own pets since the age of 5 and I still take care of 4 of them to this day. I am very experienced with cats/kittens and puppies and dogs. I have raised my own dog daisy since the age of 5 and got her a sister at 15 that i still take care of to this day, Daisy is a very happy hyper dog for her age too. :) Now I own two kittens of my own that are now 6 months, but I had owns a kitten named cuddles when I was 12 for 3 years. :) I am very experienced with animals and love spending quality time with them. I take care of my own kittens daily, feed them regularly and play with them all the time. They get so much love they love being carried and cuddle. :) I am a very respectful young woman I was always raised to have very good manners and to respect others home and respecting people in general no matter the situation. I as a person also like having things tidy and clean so I do not like to be a messy person.
