About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

I would help the neighbors with their cats,dogs,birds and bunnies I currently work for full-time, but on the weekends I enjoy hanging out with dogs. About: I love all kinds of animals! My first cat followed me home in kindergarten, and I got my first dog at 11. I nursed her through cancer during college and she died in my arms in 2022. I currently have 6 pets (5 rescues) — 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 rabbits! I spend my free time training them, loving them, and proving enrichment. I have plenty of experience from the puppy age to senior care, and everything in between. I work full time Monday through Friday, but am free on the weekends to stay home with your pups! I have plenty of time for dog walking & play. I have a large fenced yard, and a cozy house for your pets to stay. There is plenty of room to play with or stay away from the other small animals in my home.

I have a base level of knowledge on all breeds and creeds that goes beyond the typical level of interest for most folks. I have always been the person who brings home every stray I see, and I currently have a mini dachshund puppy named Lady May! I have experience working with senior dogs, puppies, medically complex dogs, and of course, just normal dogs! I also have experience in working with and caring for exotic pets including rabbits, chameleons, turtles, tortoises, and frogs. “All I can say is WOW! This was my first time using Rover and it was absolutely incredible. I expect this was a rare Rover experience - because we seriously could not have asked for more. My girlfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway and wanted to check out some non dog-friendly wineries during the afternoon/evening on a Saturday. We saw Amanda's listing and crossed our fingers with our last minute Friday night booking. Amanda responded within the hour letting us know she would be happy to watch over him for the day. Her communication was professional and her availability flexible. Let me tell you... Amanda's place is an absolute wonderland for an adventure dog. She has a ton of property for your dog to run around on ... and animals galore! Our husky (Myth) got to meet horses, donkeys, ostriches, cats, chickens ... and more! This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. “I am very excited to be writing this review! Robyn is an absolute sweetheart. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my pup (for the first time ever) with someone. She went WAY out of her way, even 2 months prior, to ensure that I felt reassured. Upon meeting Robyn, my little baby was already wagging his tail. She was so talented in making him and me feel safe. Her lodging is at the Garden inn which has great shady grass areas for the pups to walk around and do their sniffing. She had also offered what sounded like a wonderful walk where my little guy could see nature and some horses... but when we were there it was too hot. Robin is a beautiful person, and I could not be more happy to have met her. She nurtured my dog and kept him in her lap, he gave her kisses etc. I am so happy. I will definitely use Robyn again.”

Per some of my clients requesting have cleaned out the food in their refrigerators and ordered all fresh food for them to return home to. Most people love this because it's one less errand to do after returning from a vacation or time away from the home. It's a nice convenience and it's my pleasure to do this for my clients. I am experienced in managing your home while you are away please feel free to create a list of "to do's" that may need to be taken care of. I'm very protective and aware of our surroundings. I wash all the sheets& blankets daily to keep their relaxing /sleep areas fresh , clean & as sanitized as possible. I vacuum & Swiffer the floors to remove the pet hairs to keep the environment as clean & fresh as I can. Helps me too with allergies! Lol. My focus is on giving your pet the best care & with lots of love. So far all of my pet guests have bonded well with me & tend to stick by my side. I really miss them when they go home. When we are inside your canine family member is treated like my child while staying with me… I allow hanging out on my bed so we can be cozy and cuddly. Of course if this is not allowed in your home I will follow your rules to stay consistent. I have cozy throw blankets , dog bed,( always washed , sanitized & fresh ) lots of toys, bully sticks, balls, rope toy , healthy treats, bowls for food & water. When we go outside to play, potty and walks I always have your pet on a leash for their safety & protection. There is an enclosed fenced locked area here that I am able to access to allow the dogs to run and play off leash. It’s not a dog park so there will not be other dogs there. It’s basically a private area and the all the dogs love it! It’s about 75 yards in length & approximately 20 feet wide . All grass. We also take walks to the pool where there’s a rock jacuzzi and lots of grass around the pool. Dogs are welcome to be there with me on their leash and they all seem to really enjoy it . Your dogs safety is my priority.

About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood cats and pups, as well as my own, since I was 8. I’ve fostered animals of different ages and needs for over 5 years, as well as volunteered at local animal shelters! I’m a second year student at Cal Poly SLO, living in San Luis Obispo, California during the school year, and living at home in Kirkland, Washington during the summer. I work part time as a preschool teacher when I'm home, and I’m a full time student in California :) I’m an excellent communicator, and love sending pictures of the pups or cats I’m sitting for so you know they’re doing alright! About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.

About: I have been an avid animal lover my entire life, and have a special interest in dogs. I have a base level of knowledge on all breeds and creeds that goes beyond the typical level of interest for most folks. I have always been the person who brings home every stray I see, and I currently have a mini dachshund puppy named Lady May! I have experience working with senior dogs, puppies, medically complex dogs, and of course, just normal dogs! I also have experience in working with and caring for exotic pets including rabbits, chameleons, turtles, tortoises, and frogs.
