About: What sets me a part of the fact that I owned a vet rescue with as many as 45 cats and 25 dogs. Definitely under understand how to take care of cats and dogs. I currently am not working staying at home taking care of the home. I have plenty of time to care for animals. I have years and years of experience, taking care of animals since I did have a pet rescue at one time. I have two cats and two dogs. My environment is very pet friendly and safe. I previously owned a rescue which I had 45 cats and 21 dogs so I’m definitely capable of taking care of your sweet pet.

About: I’m a dedicated 21 year old dog lover who currently cares for two rescued female puppies. They are friendly and fixed :) Raising young shelter dogs has given me hands-on experience with puppy routines, socialization, basic training, exercise, and lots of patience. I understand the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, comfortable environment for pets. Growing up, I also owned a Chihuahua and spent time dog walking for others ever since I was a kid, which helped me learn how to work with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with active puppies, shy dogs, and dogs that need extra attention and reassurance. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply a caring companion while you're away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time as a delivery driver, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to stay close to home throughout the day. Because of that, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I believe consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where every pet feels at home.
“I’ve never had my dogs literally excited once they realized they were being dropped off at a dog sitter before. This is my second time using Sara and when I was standing at her front door to drop them off, my elderly dog was scratching at the door to be let in! Both dogs immediately acted like she was family. Highly recommend”

“I would highly recommend Barbara. She did a wonderful job taking care of my senior dog, Beans. He’s had some medical issues and he’s not used to being boarded. She put a lot of effort into helping Beans feel comfortable, safe and loved. Thank you, Barbara!”

“We were in a tight bind to find a place for our Loki to stay in while we went away for a couple of days. Thankfully, I found Dominie on this app and she was so amazing with communication. She sent videos and pictures and knew he was in great hands. He also socialized with another dog who was also staying there and had the best time. I am definitely booking again with Dominie.”

“Angelita was great! She took great care of our English bulldog Taz. Even though he is a high maintenance dog, she still took the time to do his daily wrinkle cleansing and we really appreciate that. She was very accommodating to a last minute extension of our trip. We are thankful for the care of our fur baby.”

“Thank you Haley for your help and flexibility around my schedule. And for taking care of Bruno as if he was part of your family; he loves staying with you and your family.”

“Our dog had a great time with Alondra. She sent pics and videos every day and our fur baby definitely enjoyed himself. He was all puckered out by the time we picked him up. We will definitely reach out to Alondra in the future.”
“Adriana is the best pet sitter I have ever known. She spoils my dog, gives him treats, and bathes him before I pick him up. I would highly recommend Adriana for any of your pet care needs.”

About: Caring for dogs has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. My love for animals began with my first two dogs — a German Shepherd and a Retriever mix — who taught me the joy and responsibility that come with caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s keeping them active, giving them attention, or making sure they feel safe and happy, I take pride in providing dependable and affectionate care. I truly believe every dog deserves to be treated like family — and that’s exactly how I care for them. I work from home so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits on weekends and weekdays. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. My dog is small and gentle with others as well.

Im currently a student at Chico State so I have plenty of time after classes and school. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets after 2pm on most weekdays. “Tatiana was awesome. She was very communicative and detailed and my boys, who don't usually care too much for strangers, absolutely loved her. 10/10 can't recommend her enough.”

“Sidney is AWESOME! Two sitters cancelled on me at the last minute and I had an early flight to catch in the morning and Sidney swooped in to save the day. Goose absolutely loved her and her boyfriend Jeffry. They gave him unconditional love, sent me updates, and Goose enjoyed himself so much he almost didn't want to leave. If there was a ranking higher than 5 stars I'd give it.”

“This was first time leaving my dog. I was a little nervous since we were in town for my husbands work so I was not familiar with the area, people or just leaving him. Nalani did a great job making it comfortable for me. I took my dog to her two days and it was such a great experience. He did well and Nalani gave him lots of attention. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby while we were in town. I highly recommend her.”

“Shanna has kept my girl Kai for daycare on a couple of occasions. Shanna has been very responsive to Kai's needs, and has taken very good care of my girl. Shanna has communicated with me while Kai is with her and has provided me with updates with pictures. I highly recommend Shanna for your pet care needs.”

About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. I have two different sized crates and fenced areas to give my cats space when new dogs are visiting.
About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.
“Veronica is really kind and gentle to my dog that is extremely anxious and whiny. The rover card was updated and photos were uploaded as well. And it was a bit chilly and she gave my dog a nice sweater to go home with.”

“Karla is amazing! She provided overnights before and this time I used her doggy day care service. My dog was so excited to see her and her dogs again, he ran up to her house. Would definitely recommend!”

“She was an absolute lifesaver! She took my booking with only 30 minutes notice. No one else even responded until hours later. She sent updates and photos without me having to mention it or ask. Talia looked so happy and well taken care of. 11/10 highly recommend! She completely put my mind at ease while I was having such a stressful day!”

“Haley was a very thoughtful, flexible sitter for Jethro. He can be a handful at times, but she was great at understanding his (and our) needs while we were out of town. She is trustworthy and goes the extra mile to make sure your dog is comfortable, and updated throughout the day without needing to be asked. I’d recommend her if you are looking for someone to trust with the security of your home, and safety and happiness of your animals.”

I am a stay at home mom and I also work from home. Working from home gives me flexibility to be able to be there for your pets. In my home or your home your pets safety and well being is my top priority. I will treat your pets with the same love l treat mine with. I believe pictures and videos are important to provide to show you how your pet is doing. About: My passion for animals started when I was young. I begged for a puppy at the age ten until I got one. My first pet was a teacup chihuahua, named Teacup, and I absolutely adored her. It started off as an internship, then the next year I worked as a part-time zoo keeper for a year. I also have experience volunteering at SPCA through highschool. For colloge I attended Harris-Stowe State University, and majored in Biology. I completed 100 credits. If your interested in my services please feel free to contact me; I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby My availability is currently open. About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work during the day time usually from 8-1 or 9-3. I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

I’m especially attentive to each dog’s behavior and energy level, making sure they get the right balance of play, rest, and care while you’re away. Pet care fits into my routine in a very consistent and flexible way. I naturally build my schedule around reliability and attention to detail, so I’m used to checking in on responsibilities throughout the day rather than letting things pile up. On a daily basis, I can dedicate time in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and any needed check-ins on weekends. Evenings during the week. I’m good at adjusting my schedule to match the pet’s routine, whether that means early morning walks or evening drop-ins. On a weekly level, I plan ahead so I can make sure I’m available for longer care periods like overnights or multiple visits per day. I’m also comfortable being consistent with routines like medication schedules, exercise, and keeping the pet’s environment clean and safe. Overall, I treat pet care like a real responsibility, not something I “fit in” when convenient I structure my time around it to make sure the pet stays comfortable and cared for. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping the pet’s routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the instructions exactly as provided feeding schedule, portion sizes, walk times, medication (if any), and any specific behavior or care notes about the pet. For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I adopted Milo when he was a little less than a year from the pound. I got Bear just 6 months later from someone who couldn’t keep him. I love dogs and want to help take care of your pets! I also send updates about your pets like what they’ve been up to and if I have concerns I definitely would let you know. I do live in a one bedroom apartment but I have a front yard I can take your dogs out for fresh air and to use the bathroom.

About: I've had pet dogs of different sizes across my life, and I've met very few dogs that didn't get along with eventually. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule. My pets are used to walking at odd hours in the summer, so I'm sure they won't mind 😁 This should be pretty straightforward, as I'm offering walking and home visits. I will not board dogs, as my other pups don't like the intrusion.

“Andy took good care of my dogs. They were relaxed when I picked them up. My medium sized dog enjoyed playing fetch. The little one enjoyed being cared around in the pouch. Andy cares about dogs. He has a large shaded yard.”

“My girl had an amazing time, i got so many pictures reassuring me she was enjoying herself and they were taking the best care of her! I was able to travel with no worries about my pup and knew she was getting lots of love😊”

“It is so easy to communicate with Julie. The first day we took Rey she was very sweet and asked the right questions about our dog. Our family traveled to another country and she kept us connected with pictures and stories about how much fun he was having. He learned how to play with other dogs and although he is only 5 months he stopped bitting us when we now play with him. Her and her husband are great. Thank you and looking forward to the next visit.”

“Akie was a five star dog sitter! She kept me updated all along the way and I could tell my pup was having a BLAST! She was so kind and considerate to my pups needs and I’m glad I found her for future as well. Thank you Akie🙏”
