“Princess was SO great with my fur baby. She set up a video call very promptly and was highly communicative both before and during the visit. She also took him for an outdoor hiking adventure (with advance approval), so I know that he got plenty of exercise, love, and attention while in her care. Princess followed his care instructions perfectly, and I received photo/video updates daily while away! I would highly recommend Princess’ services and have added her as one of my favorites to find her easily in the future.”

“Alanna is warm and truly an animal lover. We could tell our dogs, Lucy and Louie, had a wonderful time at her place. They trusted her completely and treated her like their best friend while we were away. Hands down, she’s amazing all around. Thank you so much again, Alanna!”

“Michele was absolutely fantastic! She agreed to watch our 13 year old medium sized pup (Wisco) on short notice and took such great care of her while we were in Mendocino for a wedding. She took her on several beautiful walks, to the beach, along for lunch with a friend, etc. We were confident our dog was in great hands having a vacation of her own. If we lived closer to Michele, she would be my go-to sitter every time!!! Really so happy we found her and so was our pup :)”

“Zelda came home happy and healthy. She seemed to have really enjoyed herself. Celianna was very nice. She responded when I messaged to check in and even asked if Zelda could play in the river. She listened to my concerns and made sure I was comfortable leaving Zelda with her. Highly recommend her care”

“Anna and her family were very sweet and welcoming. House was safe and clean. My dog seemed happy as can be at their home. Highly recommend and will be booing again!!!”

“Christine is fantastic! She has a lovely home she keeps cool for the dogs. She sent daily updates with pics so I knew how my dogs were doing. She was also flexible when we needed to extend our trip by a couple nights. I highly recommend her and will be using her again soon.”

“Barbara and her family are delightful and kind. Oliver enjoyed his stay with them very much, and I felt comfortable leaving him knowing he would be cared for, as I would care for him.”

“Angie was so great! She came in clutch for us when we needed to leave our young puppy in town bc she was too young fly. Angie was happy to go above and beyond for us when we weren't able to get back at the time we scheduled. We hope to be able to use her again in the future!”

About: I have owned and cared for animals my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies and some livestock animals. Dogs are my favorite and I have had the most experience owning and caring for them. I’m experienced with all different kinds of breeds, temperament and age dogs. I always care for them like I would my own animals (spoiled! Lol). I am currently not accepting animals in my home but am happy to do drop ins, walks and house sitting. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I am almost always home and pay attention to cues that dogs need attention or to the go outside. I have one dog who is treated like a family and spoiled like a prince. Animals are allowed on the couch and to sleep in bed if you desire. There is always plenty of fresh water, treats, toys and room to play.

“Michele responded quickly to my initial request. She came to my house to meet the cats and talk to me, which made me feel comfortable that they would be well taken care of. She sent me frequent pictures and videos, showing the cats playing and having a good time. I suspect they enjoyed their time with her more than the day to day they spend with me. She even informed me that one of my cats likes to participate in yoga. After 9 years, this was new information. When I came home the house was clean and cats were happy. I would highly recommend Michele.Hopefully she is available the next time I go out of town.”

“Mira was so great with our cats. They seemed to take to her really well and she said they were very cuddly. Her communication and updates were all good and much appreciated. Our house was in excellent shape when we returned. I am so pleased, and would definitely recommend Mira!”

“Alexis did an amazing job watching our husky Aubry while we went hiking and visited the springs. Would definitely book through her again, and my puppy was happy and tired when we got back to our AirBNB. Thanks again!”

“MiLana took wonderful care of our large teenage dog and handled him with love and care! Her pack of dogs made him feel at home right away, and both days he came back to us joyous and exhausted. She was accommodating with our schedule and helped us do some local activities with the peace of mind knowing our dog was safe and happy.”

“Prin and Max are such sweet and caring people! Chelsea stayed with them for the day until after dinnertime while we celebrated my birthday. She was calm and happy when we picked her up. Chelsea has separation anxiety and is an older chihuahua so we don't generally leave her alone. It is really great to find some kind & caring local people to take care of her when we can't be with her. Highly recommend them & so glad to have them on our team! We will definitely be using them again.”

About: Dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent much of my free time learning about different breeds, canine behavior, body language, health, grooming, and training. As an adult, that passion has only grown, and I have been fortunate enough to turn my lifelong love of dogs into a career. I have over eight years of professional experience working with dogs, including six years as a groomer and trainer at a boarding, grooming, and training facility, followed by two years as a professional groomer in a veterinary setting. Throughout my career, I have worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have completed numerous online and in-person educational programs through organizations such as the American Kennel Club (AKC) and industry conferences including the Pasadena Groom & Kennel Expo. My continuing education has included canine behavior and body language, canine CPR and first aid, breed standards and breed-specific grooming techniques, behavior modification, working safely with aggressive dogs, and training dogs with behavioral challenges. I believe there is always more to learn, and I am passionate about continuing my education so I can provide the highest level of care possible. One of my greatest strengths is understanding canine body language and behavior. I am highly proficient at recognizing stress signals, fear responses, anxiety, overstimulation, excitement, and other behavioral cues. Over the years, I have worked with everything from easygoing family pets to dogs struggling with reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, fear-based behaviors, and other behavioral challenges. Understanding why a dog is behaving a certain way allows me to create a positive, safe, and low-stress experience tailored to each individual dog. I have also spent years fostering and grooming dogs for our local Humane Society, often taking on dogs that need extra patience, confidence-building, socialization, training, or behavioral support. Helping these dogs grow and succeed has been one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My experience as a groomer has taught me the importance of being observant and proactive. Groomers often see dogs more frequently than veterinarians and spend extended periods of time closely examining a dog's skin, coat, ears, eyes, feet, movement, and overall condition. Throughout my career, I have helped many clients identify potential concerns that later warranted veterinary attention, including food and environmental allergies, chronic skin conditions, ear infections, unusual lumps or bumps, coat changes, mobility concerns, and other health issues. While I never diagnose medical conditions, I take pride in recognizing when something appears unusual and encouraging owners to seek veterinary care. In many cases, early recognition helped owners find answers sooner and allowed their pets to receive treatment before problems became more serious or caused prolonged discomfort. I currently live on 10 acres with my three dogs: two Chihuahua mixes that I adopted as foster failures from the Humane Society and a Standard Poodle who has become somewhat of a local celebrity. Thanks to my grooming experience, he is known for his creative trims and has won local Halloween costume contests. He has also participated in community events where he helped demonstrate proper grooming and brushing techniques for pet owners. His friendly, outgoing personality and love of meeting new people are a reflection of the training, socialization, and care that I believe every dog deserves. Every dog is unique, and I believe exceptional care starts with understanding each dog's individual personality, needs, and communication style. Whether your dog needs a fun place to stay, specialized handling, extra patience, or simply someone who genuinely understands and loves dogs, my goal is to provide a safe, enriching, and low-stress environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for like one of my own. As a stay-at-home mom, my daily routine allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My dogs are an important part of our family's daily life, and caring for animals is already built into my routine. Each day includes feeding, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment activities, grooming as needed, and plenty of affection. Because I live on 10 acres, there is ample space for walks, exploration, and outdoor time, all while being carefully supervised. I also make it a priority to monitor each dog's behavior, comfort level, and overall well-being so I can adapt activities to their individual needs and personality. Whether your dog is energetic and loves to play, enjoys exploring outdoors, or prefers relaxing and receiving attention, I strive to provide a safe, structured, and low-stress environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. Since I am home throughout the day, your pet will not be left alone for long periods and will receive the same level of attention and care that I give my own dogs. *************************************** Please let me know if your dog has any special needs such as -dietary restrictions -medications - food or skin allergies -resource guarding Etc. ***Additional Fees & Booking Adjustments*** ****Please review before booking.*** I want every dog in my care to have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. In some circumstances, a dog may require additional cleaning, supervision, or individual management beyond what is normally included in their stay. If any of the following situations occur, your booking may be adjusted to include the applicable additional fee. Female Dogs in Heat — $10/day An additional $10 per day will apply if a female dog is in heat during her stay, including if her heat cycle begins after drop-off. Dogs in heat require additional cleaning, monitoring, and management and must be kept completely separate from any intact male dogs in the household. Transportation (Pick-Up/Drop-Off): I offer optional pickup and drop-off for boarding/daycare clients located within 60 miles of my home. Transportation is charged at $1 per mile, each way, based on the distance between my home and your pickup/drop-off location. (When booking, you will notice it has a "flat rate" of $100 shown for sitter pickup/drop off. This flat rate will be adjusted once I receive your address and can calculate the correct fee based on the milage.) This helps cover gas, travel time, and vehicle expenses. Pickup and drop-off can be added individually or together, depending on your needs. Excessive Barking — $10 per day An additional $10 per day may be charged for dogs who display excessive or persistent barking throughout their stay. Normal occasional barking, excitement, or a reasonable adjustment period in a new environment will not result in an additional fee. This fee applies when barking is ongoing or excessive enough to require additional supervision, intervention, or management. Not Crate Trained — $10 per day An additional $10 per day may be charged for dogs who are not crate trained or have significant difficulty safely and calmly settling in a crate when needed for short periods of time (30 minutes or less). While dogs spend the majority of their day out and about, crates are used for feeding when necessary, brief periods of separation, and anytime I need to leave the home. Normal whining or a short adjustment period will not result in an additional fee; this fee is intended for dogs who require substantially more supervision or management due to difficulty being crated. Frequent Indoor Accidents — $10/day An additional $10 per day will apply if a dog has three or more indoor potty accidents during their stay, regardless of whether the accidents are due to house-training, marking, illness, stomach upset, or another cause. All large-breed dogs are taken outside for potty breaks at least once every hour, and all small-breed dogs are taken outside at least once every 30 minutes. Additional potty breaks are provided whenever needed. The first two accidents will not result in an additional charge. Once a dog has had three indoor accidents, the $10 daily fee will apply due to the additional cleaning, sanitizing, laundry, and care required. An occasional or isolated accident is understandable and will not result in an additional fee. This policy is specifically intended for recurring accidents that require a significant amount of additional cleaning during your dog’s stay. Individual Separation Required — $10/day An additional $10 per day may apply if your dog must be individually separated from other dogs or members of the household for a significant portion of their stay due to behavioral, management, or safety concerns. Individual separation may be necessary if your dog: - Does not safely get along with another dog in the household - Displays aggression, attempted biting, snapping, or other threatening behavior toward people or animals - Displays resource guarding involving food, treats, toys, beds, spaces, people, or other items - Shows excessive or persistent reactivity toward other animals - Engages in persistent bullying, mounting, or other behaviors that create ongoing conflict between dogs - Cannot safely participate in normal group activities or shared spaces - Repeatedly attempts to escape, climb or jump fencing, bolt through doors, or otherwise requires additional individual management for their safety - Requires ongoing one-on-one supervision or management to prevent conflicts or unsafe situations - Displays another unexpected behavior that makes individual separation necessary for the safety or well-being of your dog, other animals, or members of the household This fee covers the additional time and care involved in maintaining separate spaces, rotating dogs between areas, coordinating individual potty breaks and activities, and providing appropriate attention and care while your dog is separated. A dog simply choosing to spend time alone, being shy, or voluntarily seeking a quiet space will not result in a separation fee. This fee only applies when I must actively maintain and manage the dog's separation for behavioral or safety reasons. Safety is always my priority. Requiring separation does not mean your dog will receive less attention, exercise, affection, or care. It simply allows me to safely accommodate dogs who require more individualized management during their stay. ***** 🛁🐩 In addition to boarding and daycare, I also offer professional grooming services! I’m an experienced groomer with several years of hands-on experience working with a wide variety of breeds, coat types, and temperaments. Grooming services can be added to your pet’s stay or scheduled separately. Feel free to reach out to me for grooming options and pricing!***** The safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care are always my highest priorities. Before accepting a booking, I take the time to learn about each dog's personality, routine, temperament, medical needs, and any behavioral concerns so I can provide care tailored specifically to them. At my home, dogs enjoy a spacious country setting on 10 acres. In addition to the large property, I have secure fenced areas available for supervised outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. Dogs are never left outdoors unattended, and I closely monitor all interactions between pets to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. Because of my professional background in grooming, training, fostering, and canine behavior, I pay close attention to body language and behavior at all times. I am highly skilled at recognizing early signs of stress, anxiety, fear, overstimulation, or conflict and can make adjustments before situations escalate. New dogs are introduced thoughtfully and at a pace appropriate for their comfort level. I understand that not every dog enjoys socializing with other dogs, and some pets may be more comfortable having their own space. For this reason, I have the ability to safely separate dogs when needed and can accommodate dogs that prefer limited interaction, require individual attention, need separate feeding arrangements, or simply do better in a quieter environment. My goal is always to set each dog up for success based on their individual needs rather than expecting every dog to fit the same routine. I maintain fresh water at all times, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and take precautions to ensure dogs cannot access anything unsafe. I am also trained in canine CPR and first aid, providing owners with additional peace of mind that their pets are in knowledgeable and capable hands. When caring for pets in a client's home, I strive to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. Consistency helps reduce stress and allows pets to feel secure in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, household rules, and special needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. Every dog is unique, and my goal is always to create a safe, structured, low-stress environment where they feel comfortable, respected, and cared for like one of my own.
