“Sharon and Albert are AMAZING! This is by the far the best experience I've ever had leaving my pup! Blitzen is very sensitive and it takes her quite a long time to warm up to new people and she was comfortable immediately. I received pictures each day and I could tell what a great time she was having. For me Sharon and Albert are the only choice for watching Blitzen in the future.”
“Lis was great! Very communicative and you could tell she knows what she’s doing and has a lot of experience with dogs including introducing them to feel safe and comfortable. I’m so happy I chose her to watch Fenway for me, from all the cute pics she sent me I could tell Fenway had one of the best weekends ever running around playing. Will definitely be booking again for my next trip! :)”

“Another great stay with Michelle. Per usual, we had travel difficulties (car had to be towed from the airport). Michelle’s flexibility with pickup time was very helpful and appreciated. Good, quick communication, and lots of videos of the pup!”

“Stephanie was wonderful!! We thought our pup would never want to come home after spending 10 days with her. We got so many pictures, gave us a lot of updates and took such great care of our new puppy. It’s a lot to take on a new puppy, and she was so kind, positive and loving the entire time. Our pup had a great time! And we enjoyed our vacation, knowing she was in good hands!”

“This last week, Sara took care of our two pups for the second time. Quincy and Lucy both came home well cared for and very happy. Both my husband and I trust Sara with our furry friends and know they are having a wonderful time while we are gone. We will continue to have Sara watch them. Lucy is our 14 year old Labrador Retriever and Sara is extremely knowledgeable on how to take care of a senior dog. This is a quality that is important to us. Sara is the Best!!!”

“Teeda was my first try with Rover and it went most excellent! My new to me rescue dog, Tuesday, came home happy and healthy. I loved getting daily photos and status checks whenever I asked. I will definitely use Teeda again.”

“Jenn watch my GSP Scout while I was on vacation. Jenn was very accomodating for drop off and pickup times. She send txts of how Scout was doing during her stay. I will be using Jenn again to watch Scout the next time I go on vacation! Thank you Jenn for watching my girl!”

“Sara was amazing! Not only was she so sweet with our doggo but she lives on an amazing property which is a dogs paradise. Her dog Shadow was such a great playmate , and we received tons of photos while we were out of town. We will definitely book with Sara again!”

“Melissa was so wonderful with our boxer and he loved playing with her golden retriever. We received so many great pictures of his trips the beach! She even sent us home with a printed picture of our boy. I highly recommend!”

“The best review is the way my little guy went running to Michelle with his tail wagging when I dropped him off. He obviously enjoyed his stay with his doggie friends everything to explore in the big back yard.”

About: I’ve grown up with many of cats, from strictly indoor, or indoor/outdoor. Currently I have just the one cats, who I make the joke of that I bought my house for him and I just get to stay here too, he decides when we get up for I have become his pillow, that I am his personal chef (my food), and even though he has designated kitty door just for him, I shall open the front door when he demands it 😊
About: Hello, I am a patient and kind care provider for pets of all sizes, ages, and energy levels; including exotics and livestock. In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. I am also a retired certified nurse aide with first responder medical training, a safe driver with car insurance, and a trusted provider with a clean Federal back ground clearance as a Notary Public for the state of California. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

We have trails and parks near by for walks and runs, if you’d like for your pup to have exercise in those ways as well.

About: My love for animals is the passion of my whole life. However, my lifestyle as an IT developer involves constant travel, and I don't keep a pet so as not to put it under stress. That is why I offer a unique service — looking after your pet in his native home. My work is remote, which allows me to combine two tasks: to provide your pet with care and attention in a familiar environment and at the same time work on my projects in a comfortable environment. I am not just a pet sitter, but a responsible animal lover who values their comfort and safety.

About: I’ve cared for cats of all personalities since I was young, growing up on a farm surrounded by animals. I understand that cats need patience, a calm environment, and consistent care to feel safe and comfortable. I provide a peaceful, low-stress setting where your cat can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to feeding routines, litter box cleanliness, and behavior changes, and I take the time to build trust with each cat at their own pace. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or independent, I adjust my care to fit their needs. My goal is to make sure your cat feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away so you don’t have to worry.

About: I’ve had cats in my life since I was a small child, so caring for them feels second nature to me. I understand how unique every cat’s personality is—from the shy ones who need patience to the social butterflies who love constant attention. What sets me apart is my mix of genuine love for animals and my professional background as a personal assistant, which makes me highly reliable, detail-oriented, and attentive. I’m comfortable with senior cats, administering medications, and keeping routines consistent so your cat feels safe and secure while you’re away. I also don’t mind the less glamorous parts of cat care—like deep-cleaning litter boxes—because I know how much those small details matter to a cat’s comfort. My goal is always to make sure your cat is not just cared for, but truly comfortable and loved.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. If directed I can help with other farm projects. I am looking to take on as many hours as possible! I am currently in college, but only have classes Monday and Wednesday and can work around my school schedule. I am unable to bring pets home due to having my own cat and living in an apartment with a single pet deposit! But I am just fine coming to you! I offer dog walking, some behavioral training while pet sitting/walking, in home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!
About: Hello! I am an eager and positive college student looking forward to pet sitting this summer. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats, and am very happy to take care and spend time with them. I helped raise my rescue pit bull since she was a puppy, and the same prompt and dedicated schedule and care I have for her, I will have for your pet too! I can’t wait to get started :) I am currently working part-time at a restaurant, so I will make as much time as you’d like to be available for your pet! Depending on your individual schedule and pet, I am willing to be flexible and available to your needs. I have a pit bull who is 6 now, but when we rescued her she was my first real pet. I helped train her, potty and walk training, and my family and I have created a nurturing and loving home for her. No matter what service you hire me for, I will care for your pet and create that same environment as well.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and my first dog was an Australian shepherd, Wish, who was my companion since I was 10 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve honed my training skills and attended Valor K9 Academy’s shadow program in May 2021. My husband and I currently have a Siberian Husky, Newt, whom we participate in conformation and other fun sports with. He has his UKC Ch and IABCA Ch and also his CGCA and TKA titles, and we are hoping to add some more titles this coming year. I have trained puppies to seniors and specialize in obedience and off-leash work. We currently already have experience boarding in-home with current clients and dogs that go through our evaluation during a consultation. Dog training is my full-time job, and besides volunteering at a local raptor center to gain experience to become a falconer, I spend my days at home with Newt and other dog(s) that we may have. My husband is a manager at a trucking company and helps when he is available/free, usually in the early morning and evenings, and also handles our finances. All pets are supervised. We are strict with our house rules including with our own dog, so if any dog(s) will not be supervised or I am out of the home, they will be crated for their safety and my peace of mind. Dogs are worked mentally and physically during their stay through enrichment and treadmill and training, and must be polite or will learn to be polite to other dogs staying concurrently.
“We had to find a sitter for one day for Issa, our German Shepard. We were able to drop her off early and pick her up the same day. Elisabeth made the arrangements very accommodating. Our puppy played in the water and seemed to have had great day. We would love to have her watch Issa again.”

“Stephanie did an incredible job with my golden retriever! I was in town visiting for a few days and needed a day to myself. She took Lucy on a hike and sent pictures from their whole day together. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony, goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed. My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.
“Two weeks after adopting a rescue, I was nervous to leave him with anyone and almost cancelled my trip to the snow, but we found Sara instead! She took such good care of my boy who had been through a lot in two weeks! He had a great day and once we got home, had one VERY great sleep!”

About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.
“Adam checked off all of my boxes and more. He made Sunny feel safe and clearly had safety in mind. He took Sunny on a walk, fed him, and kept him busy and engaged all day. As soon as we got in the car, Sunny fell asleep from all the fun. At first Sunny was a little scared, but by the end of the visit I could tell Adam really cared for him. I would definitely rebook with him when I’m in Tahoe again!”

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. In my younger years I had many horses. I learned how to care for them, feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after them, etc! I learned responsibility, in addition to a deep love of animals. All of my experiences with my own animals, have made me a knowledgeable, responsible and compassionate animal care provider. I am currently semi-retired from working in the hospitality industry. I have plenty of time and I would thoroughly enjoy taking care of your beloved pets. I have an adorable mini schnauzer, Dudley, and a domestic short hair cat, Pete. I love them both so much and get so much enjoyment out of having and caring for them. We love cuddling, talking, and playing. I make sure they have the food, treats, exercise and attention they desire, and are well taken care of and will treat yours with the same love and respect that I show to my own pets.
“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

“We were in Tahoe for few days and decided to play a round of golf but we did not know what are we going to do with our dog Max. Checked online on Rover.com and found Teeda. She was AWESOME. Max fell in love with her not to mention at the end of the day he was sooo tired after hiking, walking, playing with other dogs....Max had a blast. Teeda was right on time for pick up and drop off and she sent us pictures during the day to let us know how max was doing. I would kindly recommend her to anyone!”

“Charleston, our 65-lb shepherd/lab mix, hadn't been anywhere for ages, due to COVID, so I was a little worried to drop him off with a stranger for a few hours, but Aryela made him feel right at home! He was tired, as one would expect, but in a great mood, after his stay with Aryela. Great choice!”

About: Allow me to love on your pups and kitties (or other critters!) to fill the creature quotas in my life, as well as work with you on what will be most effective in caring for them. Cuddles and positive reinforcement are very important to me. Since 2013 I have had the pleasure of being professionally involved in caring for several animals and reptiles (some with special needs). I began nannying and housekeeping for a wonderful family in Seattle, and my duties included the regular care of two high energy pups, and one had special needs toward the last year of her life, requiring daily medications. When that family stopped needing full-time care, I began working for a local company as a dog walker and sitter. I have since worked with dozens of families both on and off of this company, so please reach out with any questions or concerns about the care of your furry friends. I quit my day job in June 2021 and have been doing strictly petsitting ever since. I am working toward finding my own path in the pet care industry, as well as building up for major traveling adventures. Until then, I look forward to continuing to do this work, as it is very rewarding, and fulfilling. I value communication and empathy with animals. I first learn about any pet or livestock before approaching unless spoken about beforehand! I will treat them like they are mine, with structure and much much love.

We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. “Hi my name is Corbin. I'm an 11 year old border collie "puppy that needs a lot of exercise. My mom found me a new friend - Dakota - who comes and takes me for walks and to the dog park for work outs. I'm kind of afraid of new people, but after a few minutes I knew I was going to like Dakota. He is very kind and patient with me. My mom tells me when Dakota is about to arrive. He has been reliable and on time which is very important to me as I'm not very good at waiting. My mom is really happy because each time Dakota takes me out, I come back happy and very well exercised! Thank you Dakota! Corbin (and his mom, Mary)”

In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. My specialties are orphan care and special needs requiring medication and or specialized attention after surgery. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. About: I have taken care of dogs on my own since I got my dog Mr. Buddy who is an Australian Shepard. I raised him from a puppy when I got him in Alaska when I was in the air force. I also watch my sister's dogs all the time, and I've decided to turn my love of dogs into a profession. I've learned a lot about dogs from great people like ceaser milon and the dog father, and many great people I've met along the way on my travels in the military. Your dogs will be well taken care of under my care. I have decided to do this as a full time gig. I want to be my own boss and work better with animals then I do people lol. I have delt with dogs of every age from my grandparents older German Shepard of 14 years old to my dog Mr. Buddy as a young 12 week old pup. I can assure that I will adhere to any safety practices that you want for your fur baby. I also have my 4 year old Aussie, Mr. Buddy, that does great with other dogs and socializing them. I've seen him help mentally troubled dogs many times. Off course I will not bring him if the client doesn't want him there. But once again I care assure that any dog will be safe under my care.

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of caring for pets — I’ve had animals since I was a kid, and my own elderly chihuahua keeps me tuned in to the love and patience pets need at every stage of life. I’m gentle with seniors, patient with puppies, and treat every animal like family. With my background as a personal assistant, I’m reliable, organized, and attentive to all the little details that keep pets happy and safe. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life — I care for my own elderly chihuahua every day, so things like walks, feeding, snuggles, and keeping routines are already built into my schedule. I also work as a personal assistant, which means I’m organized, flexible, and used to balancing responsibilities with care and attention. Making time for animals is easy for me because it’s something I truly enjoy and value. I have a flexible schedule and for the most part I can fit into your routine. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and double-check that doors, gates, and food/medications are handled with care. I take time to create a calm, loving environment so your pets feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and cared for like family. At my own home, my elderly gal gets free run of the space. She sleeps on the bed, we do walks, treats, and play with her favorite toys (her llama with a unicorn horn), you dog would receive the same treatment. :)

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“My boys had a great time with Jessica. She spoiled them with fun walks, playtime outside and comfy rests in the couch lol. She sent photos to let me know they were having fun and it was so comforting to know they were in loving care. We were able to enjoy our night out without guilt or worry. Absolutely recommend 100%! One of the best River sitters we’ve had. Also a very convenient location when visiting the South Lake Tahoe area. If we get back this way, we will use her again. Five woods from Grizzly and Bear!”

“Our dog Ellie had a great couple of days with Gabriel. She had walks and playing in the snow. Great feedback and updates with pictures while she was there, and she seemed very happy when we collected her. Would be very happy to use Gabriel again for dog sitting.”

“We are so happy to have found Lisette — She has great energy and is truly a great caregiver. It can be a bit nerve racking leaving our pups with someone new, but upon our first meeting, we were quickly put at ease and knew Riley and Miley would be in good hands. They warmed up to Lisette in a matter of minutes and really enjoyed their stay with her. They had a great time running around and exploring the beautiful property... the proof was in the pictures that were sent to us! This was their first visit with Lisette and definitely not their last — I’m sure Riley and Miley look forward to their next vacay with her!”
