About: I've shared my home with two to four dogs since coming to LA 15 years ago. Because I work from home, your pup gets a calm, dog-savvy human nearby all day — frequent yard breaks, play, and belly rubs instead of hours alone. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, medications, and high-energy dogs, and I keep my numbers small so every dog gets real one-on-one attention. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so your dog has company and supervision for most of the day — regular walks, play, and potty breaks, not long stretches alone. I offer boarding and daycare and take just one family's dog or two at a time, and I'm glad to keep your dog's normal routine for meals, naps, and bedtime. I always mark as unavailable any days I have travel or major time commitments that will keep me away from home for more than an hour or two, so they will have constant care while they're here. Your dog will have free range of my 3 bedroom home, detached studio, and very large, securely fenced backyard full of fruit trees. I don't have pets of my own right now, so your pup gets the whole space and my full attention. I'm happy to crate or set up a quiet separate area if that's what your dog is used to, and I keep things calm and low-stress. I have a doggy door for dogs who prefer to let themselves in/out at their leisure. I converted our detached 2 car garage into a recording studio, where I work, so we have the quietest place in town in the event we have to make it through fireworks or if your pet prefers quiet or isolation. Both the house and studio have their own separate HVAC systems, so they'll definitely stay comfortable. I have always slept with my own dogs, so happy to co-sleep with yours if that's what they're used to, but also glad to maintain whatever rules you generally set for them in regard to being on beds/furniture.

About: I have cared for animals on my ranch in Acton, CA for over 30 years. I get along well with them because of the mutual trust and respect developed between us. I am adept at maintaining safe, clean living environments and noticing any problems which may crop up. I have worked with a variety of dog breeds of different ages and also have a great method for obedience training. I can provide information on this as agreed to between the owner and myself. Each enclosure on my ranch is basically a huge corral with shelter attached. Dogs can exercise themselves and seek shelter whenever they want. I am also able to keep them indoors provided they are housebroken and reasonably well behaved. I can give medications and provide personalized care as needed. Services provided include the following? -Lots of private space for each dog -Dedicated care plans for senior dogs or those needing medications -Large tree-abundant yards. No cages -Leash walk and play time -In-door stays available when dictated by the weather -Social activities with other dogs given they are compatible with each other -Regular photo updates and videos I'd love to meet you and your dog. Let's schedule a meet and greet to become acquainted. Carole I'm am available for boarding on both weekends and weekdays. Since I am retired, this means I can check in on your dogs boarded at my facility on a regular basis. My premises are double-fenced for the security of client dogs. Dogs have plenty of water, and I feed them according to owner specifications. Wading pools are provided in the summer, and there are adequate shelters for dogs to stay in out of the weather when they choose. Any extra exercise desired by the owner outside of the exercise dogs give themselves in the large enclosed areas are arranged for between the client and myself. I will be happy to give high energy dogs extra exercise by playing fetch with them a few times during the day. I will also spend time reassuring over-anxious dogs by just being with them.

I love working with animals and have worked in various animal shelters as a volunteer and have worked in clinical settings as well as a vet assistant! So I have quite the experience you would say with animals and such. I have a cozy 2 bedroom home with a fully enclosed backyard. Your furry friends will get the run of the house and be treated like a family member. They will be free to come and go, in and out of the backyard (whether there used to the inside or outside ), as they please and be showered with love and affection. Sleeping will be the same: on their bed or mine. I love to snuggle! I have a dog of my own who I keep in the backyard kenneled when I'm boarding clients and she WILL NOT INTERACT with your pets AT ALL as she is very dog reactive and I'd like to save both parties from a situation. If your pet needs to be crated that can be arranged although I keep the animals I'm boarding and taking care inside for the most part free roam and do as they please. If crates cant be provided I have my own (Varies etc.)

“What's not to like! A kind and caring lady that takes her time to understand the animals she cares for, a tidy and cozy home, an adorable little dog named Luccie and a gorgeous loving cat. Stacey was great at sending us daily updates and pictures of our little dog Toby. Most importantly, she was accommodating when we had an overnight layover due to a delayed flight abroad and we needed Toby to stay with Stacey an extra night. Overall, we're very happy and our Toby was in great spirits when we picked him up. We have no hesitation rebooking Stacey in the future.”
