“Adam was great! I needed a last minute place for my Boston terrier and Adam responded almost right away. He took my dog on a ride, walk and got to lounge and play for a couple days. Koa had just as much of a great vacation as us! I received pics of his little adventures and Adam communicated great. Will be booking again next time we go to Tahoe and need a place for our pup.”
“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

I got a text with pictures a few minutes after I left their house the first day, and saw pictures of Honey having fun. I usually ride bikes, walks, or hike after work. Pretty active lifestyle. Available on weekends full time. I provide a safe, comfortable environment for pets, including a dedicated guest room where they can sleep. Air conditioning is available during warmer weather to ensure your pet's comfort. I also offer in home pet care and can travel to your residence if preferred. Pets in my care receive plenty of attention and exercise, including two daily walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. While I do not have a fenced yard, I am located less than 10 minutes from Kiva Beach and am happy to take dogs there for additional outdoor time and enrichment

“Adam was great! I needed a last minute place for my Boston terrier and Adam responded almost right away. He took my dog on a ride, walk and got to lounge and play for a couple days. Koa had just as much of a great vacation as us! I received pics of his little adventures and Adam communicated great. Will be booking again next time we go to Tahoe and need a place for our pup.”
“I was visiting Lake Tahoe but staying at a timeshare that doesn't allow dogs, so I booked Teeda and her husband Richard to pet sit my dog Teddy in their home. They were phenomenal! Not only did they take Teddy on hikes and to the beach every day, and send lots of photos, but they also were EXTREMELY accommodating. They were super flexible about letting me take Teddy out on several days--in fact one morning when I called to ask about picking him up, and they were already driving him to another lake for an outing, they even offered to turn around. But the most amazing thing was that on the last day, due to a crazy-early flight that my travel companion had booked out of Sacramento Int'l airport, we had to pick Teddy up at 3:45 in the morning (!!!). I felt terrible about this, but Teeda was very cheerful about it and was ready at the door before I knocked. I can't recommend Teeda & Richard enough!”

We got so many pictures, gave us a lot of updates and took such great care of our new puppy. It’s a lot to take on a new puppy, and she was so kind, positive and loving the entire time. About: I have had animals my whole life. I currently have dogs and cats. Responsible for caring for multiple neighbors' pets. I walk the dogs daily. References available upon request. I am a dog person through and through. I love to take the dogs for walks. My life already fits around dogs very well. I take 2 walks per day. I have a large fenced back yard. I have beds around the house for the dogs. I have a crate available. I feed at 7am and 5pm.

This was my first time leaving my new rescue pup who is very shy, he won’t let many people even get close to him and Shane sent me a video of them cuddling on the couch. ❤️ Shane was so kind and gentle with my pup. I’m so grateful how awesome it worked out. Plus, his two dogs are very chill and well behaved which was also great for my pup to play with them. Can't recommend Shane enough! There's more, his location is also amazing for the dogs because it’s far from any busy streets and right by a trailhead. 🙌”

About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.
