I care for my own pets each day, including my two cats, bearded dragon, and chickens, so feeding, cleaning, playtime, and giving animals attention are things I truly enjoy doing. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide reliable visits, walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention for your pets. I love spending time with animals and am happy to adjust to your pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal routine and providing the care they’re used to receiving from their family. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. For cats, I am experienced with feeding, brushing, playing, and keeping litter boxes clean and fresh. I understand that some cats love attention while others prefer quiet companionship, and I’m happy to adapt to each cat’s personality and needs. For dogs, I provide walks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection and attention. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. About: I have a love for pets. With 48 years experience training pets and caring for pets of all ages, breeds and tempoerments. I have worked with many veterinarians around Kern Country and have extensive background in animal health and care. From the age of 9 to 18 I was involved in 4-H where I won achievement awards and acknowledgement for my handling and caring for pets. I worked in a dog and cat boarding facility for 15 years feeding, cleaning and caring for pets while their owners were away. I have also assisted in pet grooming. About: I’d say what really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about the pets I’m watching. I don’t just “check in” on them I try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I take time to learn their personality, routines, and little habits so I can care for them in a way that feels familiar to them. I have experience with both young and senior pets. With puppies, I’m patient and consistent with things like potty training, basic commands, and building good habits. With older pets, I understand they may need a slower pace, extra attention, or help with things like medication and sticking to a routine. I’m also big on communication I like to send updates and pictures so you know your pet is doing well. Overall, I just treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel as happy and stress free as possible. I currently live with my partner and my puppy all i do at home is do online school and take care of my puppy all day!
