“Grant was the BEST! I was so worried about leaving my recently rescued Weimaraner Vinnie but Grant we so great at communicating. He sent daily pictures and videos as well as let me know how he was doing. He took the extra time with Vinnie to make he felt comfortable and safe. Vinnie was able to run on the property and socialize with the other dogs. He had a mini vacation himself :) I would definitely book with Grant again!”

“Michelle E. Her care was top notch could not have been better. This was the first time my canine partner was separated from me. With Michelle’s care my partner did great and she blended right in to the surroundings. I was able to have a peaceful trip knowing about Michelle’s excellent care. Don’t look any further than Michelle E. when needing dog care. You will be thankful that you picked Michelle E.”

“This was the first time our little dog was going to stay overnight in a new place. Pam was helpful and communicated how he was doing as the week progressed. She was so kind! Our dog was healthy and happy when we picked him up.”

“Aron came thru for us in a big way after a "miss" with another Rover sitter. The dogs had a great time (the younger one loved playing with the other dogs and the older one appreciated the extra nap time and being left alone!) I would definitely use his services again, and will do if/when I'm back in the area.”

“Being new to the service we were unsure of the entire process. However, Olena Davyd put us at ease. They sent several pictures throughout the days and answered all my questions. We would definitely recommend to others.”

“Shannon is amazing. It was our first time using Rover and she was the best person to experience this service. We love it. From getting updates (photos videos and messages) to answering all questions we had the whole time. Excellent service. Highly recommend Shannon, and we look forward having our Luna stay with Shannon and her family in the future. Thanks for everything.”

“Linda does a wonderful job caring for my dog & keeping me posted on how things are going with photos and comments. She even seems to enjoy my dog’s goofy antics. Thank you, Linda!”

“Excellent dog care and overnight boarding. We were in the Grass Valley for one night and needed to board our Corgi and plan to return when we are back in the area.”

“Absolutely wonderful person and family for our pup to stay with! Amanda was great at caring for our senior pup and we appreciate knowing she was in safe hands during our trip.”

“I appreciate the communication I received from Leslie throughout our first trial one night stay of my highly anxious, deaf, blind senior miniature pinscher. Leslie clearly has a lot of experience with high needs pets and her competence made me feel more comfortable about leaving my pet in her care. He was high maintenance this visit but Leslie took it all in stride and I’m happy she is willing to take him again in the future.”

“Always available for us (even last minute), coordinates the dogs like a pro, constant access to doggy door and never locked in a cage, welcome on the furniture, super secure backyard...as close to home as you can get! Very pleased and grateful to have found her! Especially since our timid little pup has many quirks and would also be intimidated if he was surrounded by bigger dogs. Sohui is definitely our all around go-to!”

“Kelsey was fantastic for my dog Oliver. Kelsey was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process, and her home is clearly a loving place for animals. When I returned home, Oliver was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Kelsey and will be booking with her in the future.”

“Jennifer and her family are the best! I never worry leaving our boy with them. He has so much fun and comes home tired. Jennifer was so flexible this time when we had to drop Cooper off a little early, thank you again!”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with our dog’s stay with Arwen over Thanksgiving weekend. Our dog Angus has never been so comfortable from the moment we arrived; it was obvious that Arwen and her husband were not only very experienced and huge dog lovers, but also very kind and genuine people. Angus actually played with the other dogs, which rarely happens, and we received updates and photos throughout his visit. I would highly recommend Arwen if you’re looking for peace of mind for yourself and a great country vacation for your doggo.”

“Sandy has watched my Charm 2 times and she won’t be able to get rid of us now! Sandy is so caring and gives updates often. I have no worries at all dropping my pup with her. I highly recommend her!”

“George was very happy in Amy&Justin care. We received frequent and positive updates about his stay. There were very flexible and easy to communicate with us. We are very satisfied and would recommend!”

“I'm glad I found Michael and Patricia. Josie felt at ease with them right away so it made me feel good about leaving her with them. They are a wonderful couple who really care about dogs. I rarely go out of town, but if I ever need a sitter for Josie in the future, they'd be the ones I'd book a stay with.”

“Ruchi and Nitin were great and accommodated us on short notice for an overnight stay. They have two sweet dogs that they introduced slowly to ensure everyone got along well. They also provided plenty of pictures and updates. Jackson came home happy and exhausted. Thank you!”

“Mikayla is great! Her communication is excellent, and she did a great job of giving one of our kitties his medication, which can be difficult. We are glad to have found her!”

“Isabella arrived right on time for Mazie’s drop-in walk and kept me updated throughout. She was attentive and communicative, and best of all, she sent photos from their time together—I loved seeing Mazie enjoying the outing. Isabella clearly cares about the dogs in her care. Mazie was happy when she got home. Couldn’t ask for better. Will definitely book again!”

“Meaghan has been a great help to our family who needed care last minute for a family emergency. She was communicative, flexible and took great care of our pets. I woul not hesitate asking Meaghan y to ovpet sit again!”

“Remi is a wonderful care taker. After our initial meeting, I knew she was the right person to care for my senior dog. She even visited with my gecko. Remi will be my go-to person for future needs. I strongly recommend her!”

About: I've owned cats nearly my whole life, and currently have three of my own. All of my cats have been rescues and I am very passionate towards giving shelter and senior cats second chances 💕 I am frequently asked by neighbors and family members to help take care of their cats whenever needed. I aim only to make a safe and comfortable space, away from any dangers and other animals to ensure every kitty is nothing but content in my care. ❤

“Sienna took amazing care of my kitties for the weekend and made me feel super relaxed and comfortable. My cats are very shy but she got them out of their shells the first day with her attentiveness and care. Sienna did an excellent job communicating throughout the weekend and sent me a ton of pictures of my cats which made me so happy! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone- you can really tell she cares deeply for animals.”

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats since I was little. I’m extremely in tune with their quirks and reading what they’re okay and not okay with. I’ve had 3 of my own cats, male and female. I know how to give oral medications and injections.
“Sierra and Seth, both watched our giant dogs today! They did several drop-ins and made sure the dogs needs were very well met at each one. They are also very communicative, which was so important because we have a large dog with reactivity issues and behaviors. Sierra and Seth were very responsive to our dog's needs, and willing to adjust and adapt when our reactive dog needed different kinds of support. We would love for them to sit for us again and their help was irreplaceable!”
“Maryjane was great! She stepped in when an emergency forced my other sitter to end the stay early and she picked up the care for my cat without missing a beat! My cat clearly loved her, too. He was happy and well fed, and my apartment looked great when I got home! I will definitely book with her again!”

About: I currently have a 7 year old cat who is like our child. I also grew up with a cat (that was with me for 20 years!). But my real love for cats started when I started working in animals hospitals, and I discovered that I have a knack for handling the more temperamental/fractious cats. Winning over a shy/scared cat is so rewarding (and takes patience). I am able to give medications if/when needed, but mostly I just want to cuddle them 💜

About: Cats have been a large part of my sitter services for many many years since high school. I wouldn’t dare call myself a cat expert because all cats are extremely special and specific, though I would venture to say that I can make even the most shy cats enjoy their stay with me! I have experience administering medication and I have experience with special needs cats as well.

“Sabrina is a joy to work with to watch our lil dude Nico. Her communication is fantastic and she always went the extra mile to ensure he was well-cared for. We had complete ease of mind being away and knowing that he received lots of love, cuddles and care.”

About: I have had pets my whole life, and my mom is a veterinarian. I currently have 3 dogs, a desert tortoise, and a bearded dragon and have taken care of goats in the past so I am comfortable taking care of any pet. I am currently working at Target on Bell Road. I am able to take care of pets at your house or take them for walks, but may need to leave them for 4-8 hours on some days. I hope I am a good fit and I can't wait to take care of your furry family members! I am able stay at your house but because I work at Target, I may need to leave the house for 4-8 hours every day. I am able to accommodate whatever your pet needs. And I am comfortable with crate training pets and giving oral medications. Since my Mom works in the veterinary industry she is available if I ever have a question about a pets care.
About: Animal lover available for walks, house sits, and overall care for all the good boys! No breed restrictions I love all types of dogs. Happy to help out! I’ll be walking, feeding, playing with and making your animal feel reassured. Available to take pups on hikes as well if they are well behaved! I currently only am a part time cat mom with my partner. In the past I’ve had experience with pitbulls, German Shepard’s and labradors. I offer over night stay as well. I love animals I have some volunteer pet experience at shelters. Making your pet feel safe and happy is my biggest priority! If the animal is small I can provide boarding and walks at my apartment as well. Feel free to ask any questions! I have full availability to take care of your furry friends. I’m available weekdays and weekends any day of the week. Have a great day! I value your pets safety above all things and I make sure to cater to any needs they might have. I’m very diligent and attentive.
“Aicha is amazing! She took care of our fur babies well while we were away and they adjusted to her so fast. She is very flexible with her time and makes it very easy for us to communicate with her. Love and enjoy all her updates makes us feel secure our fur babes are home safe. ❤ Thank you Aicha! Till nextime!”

About: I am a true cat person through and through. With three cats of my own, I understand better than most that cats are sensitive, intelligent, and wonderfully complex creatures. I love nothing more than gaining a cat's trust, it means everything when they finally come around! I treat every cat I care for with the patience, respect, and gentleness they deserve, honoring their independence while making sure they feel secure and loved while you are away.

“Sienna provided a quick response to my booking request, and was willing to take my dog on short notice. She has a large yard, and clean pet friendly home for him to enjoy during his stay. I have complete confidence in her ability to take care of my pet, and I look forward to booking with her again in the future.”
“Leslie is absolutely amazing! Ginger is 14 years old and has a lot of health issues. Leslie is incredibly understanding, patient, and compassionate. Thank you, Leslie for taking such great care of my sweet, little Ginger.”

“Bella has stayed with Amy &Justin now twice. And I am absolutely thrilled. She’s very relaxed when I pick her up so I know she had a good experience. Amy &Justin are a great team and communicate well. Bella loves kids so I’m sure she gets lots of love from their children. I feel such a relief finding Amy &Justin. They live close to me and they treat my dog like family. What more can you ask?”

“Sara watched our dog while we tubed down the American River on a very hot day. I appreciated her giving us peace of mind and sending photo and video updates. Sounds like our dog did fine while we were gone, so it worked out well! Great communication and friendly people.”

“Linda was great with my other dog and Lady really enjoyed being with her and all the dogs that were there. Thank you so much for taking care of my Lady and I hope to be able to have Lady visit more often.”

“We dropped off our dog at Deborah's house for dog sitting. Our dog really likes Deborah. She is kind and patient and you can tell she really likes animals. We were updated regularly on how our dog was doing with messages and pictures. It made us feel like she was in good hands. We will definitely book Deborah for more sitting soon!”

“Shannon and her husband were amazing! They're very caring people. They also have a French bulldog which was a plus for our frenchie. When it came time to pick up our pup, she didn't want to leave. That's the best sign of a successful playdate. Anyway, we highly recommend Shannon and we will definitely be using her again. Thanks, Shannon!! :)”

“Very satisfied with Dan and his care for my Daisy. I left food for her but none was given. Just one water break. At home she drinks a lot of water and is fed twice a day. So I am puzzled! Dan is a great host and provides great care. I will be using his services in the future!”

“My high-energy large Lab and Golden Retriever puppy had an amazing day with Michelle and her family on their farm, and came home tired and well-cared for ❤️. Hope they will be able to visit again soon! Thank you again!”
“Breanna was so kind and loving. My two took to both she and her partner instantly. Pictures told me they were having a great time, relaxing in their home. Walter is my quiet gentleman with an anxious soul and he freely gave affection and love, trusting instantly... and my Dolly the verbal pup yipped with glee over her new friends. We had a regular provider on Rover that we loved dearly but she is starting a family now so to find a new trusted host for our pups is so reassuring. They asked lots of questions to make sure all would be well during the stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!”

“Whitney is amazing! Stella came home a happy and exhausted puppy! It can be hard leaving Stella alone most of the day. I feel guilty that she will either be laying around or staring out the window waiting for us to get home. Whitney is very sweet and Stella really likes her. Stella went right to her and Stella can be hesitant if she doesn't feel comfortable. I definitely recommend Whitney!!!”

“Wonderful experience! Thanks so much for taking such great care of Tamiko. I really appreciated the two walks and the photos you sent to keep me updated. It was clear Tamiko received lots of tender loving care. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again. Highly recommend!”

“Kelsey was the best! Our dogs had a great time, we’re taken care of and she was flexible for our pickup and drop off times, and kept in touch throughout with speedy responses. Couldn’t ask for more!”

“Michael & Patricia were amazing! Honey was a last minute daycare, they were so loving. You can tell they love to give to dogs they provide services for. I will be taking Honey back just because they are so genuine. They provided me feedback the whole time and photos. Gave me a complete update when I picked her up. Honey will become a regular just so he has wonderful people in her circle. Plus gives me the opportunity to have so me time without any worries.”

About: I’ve always had a passion for animals and love spending time with them. My entire life I’ve always had dogs and cats. My first best friend was a cocker spaniel named bear that spent everyday with me. Any of my friends or family will tell you that I am obsessed with dogs and animals in general. Growing up all my neighbors always had me take care of their pets when they would go out of town because they could trust me and knew I’d enjoy doing so. I have a 3 year old white German Shepard puppy that loves to play all the time and she loves other dogs. She is very friendly and a big dog but very obedient and well trained, she would never hurt another dog. I’d love to give your pets the attention and care they deserve! I live in foresthill on an acre with a fenced portion of the yard with room for your dog to play :) Please note: I usually do not accept booking requests more than a couple months out as I do not know what our schedule is yet. Also, I only provide dog sitting and dog boarding services at my own home. I am usually home all the time and I work from home. I can provide lots of attention and frequent potty breaks for your dog. Our property is an acre and part of our yard is fenced. I am home most of the time but if I need to leave to run errands, I will need to crate your dog for their safety as I do not know how they will react at home alone.

About: Bare minimum care for animals is not accepted in my house. I only offer the absolute best I can give for every furry friend. I've owned and cared for almost every category of critter you can come up with (Birds, reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, cats, dogs, etc.!) Almost all my passions revolve around animals and always have, I spend most of my time helping people with their own pets when I'm not caring for mine. I also am starting out in dog training and have two years experience with a few types of canine training. My own dog is an exceptionally trained GSD that's helped this journey. Along with that, I have been helping with rehabilitating and releasing wild animals in need for almost three years. I am very passionate about rescues and almost all my animals are rescued by either shelters, brought to me, or found by me. I hope to build a career in helping people and their animals in every way I possibly can ❤ I'm currently gaining experience for dog training and I help with wild animal rehabilitation along with shelter work. I'm free most days of the week since I'm able to choose my working hours. For drop in visits I follow pet owner instructions exactly to ensure every pet has their needs met. I offer the most exceptional care that I possibly can for each animal and am capable of caring for just about any pet. Senior, challenged, puppy, untrained, none are challenging for me. 💕
“Nicole is wonderful! She is knowledgeable, trustworthy and super sweet! She is helping me integrate our new dog by going on parallel walks. I plan to go out of town in a few months, and will definitely ask her to dog sit!”

About: In addition to caring for my own pets—including one dog and two cats—I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and neighbors. My experience includes in-home pet sitting and drop-in visits for feedings, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention and playtime to keep pets happy and comfortable. I work from home full time, so I’m able to have your pets hang out with me, or drop in for feedings, potty breaks, walks and attention/play time to keep your fur babies happy while you’re gone. I have a double fenced yard for potty breaks, and have two dogs (cocker spaniel & small mixed Havanese/Shitsu - both female) and a yellow tabby to keep your fur baby company. If your doggie doesn’t like/do well with cats, we have plenty of space to keep them separated- just let me know in advance. Living in the mountains, we rarely let our dogs out unattended and would extend the same precaution to your animals (unless they prefer being outside). I’m also able to take them for walks to keep them happy & exercised while you’re gone.

About: One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos and updates to owners while they're away. I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for when you can't be there. I genuinely love working with animals of all kinds. Over the past 10 years, I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, lizards, chickens, and many other pets. Animals bring so much joy to the world, and I believe they deserve attentive, compassionate care. I'm known for being reliable, flexible, and easy to work with—whether I'm helping friends, family, or new clients I've just met. Because every pet has unique needs, I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and preferences. I also have extensive experience administering medications and caring for pets with special requirements. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your beloved companion is safe, happy, and receiving the same level of care and attention that I would give my own pets. I would love the opportunity to help care for your furry, feathered, or scaly family member. I currently work full time as an office manager in the Roseville area, but I have a flexible and consistent schedule that allows me to support pet care needs throughout the day. I’m able to step out during my lunch breaks for potty visits, check-ins, or to administer medications when needed. My routine is well-structured, which helps me reliably accommodate most scheduling requests and provide consistent care. I understand how important timely visits and dependable support are for both pets and their owners, and I do my best to ensure that each visit is handled with care and attention. I believe the best pet care starts with following the guidance provided by pet owners. They know their pets best and understand their individual needs, routines, and personalities. One thing I've learned over the years is that every animal is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to caring for them. I also place a strong emphasis on observation and communication. When I first meet a pet, I take time to learn their normal behaviors and establish a baseline for how they typically act. If I notice anything that seems unusual or out of character, I promptly reach out to the owner to keep them informed. Clear, timely communication helps ensure the best possible care and provides peace of mind for pet owners. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, trusting, and compassionate environment where pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Sienna. I’ve been raised with dogs my whole life so I have much experience with dogs. I’ve been a dog sitter on many occasions for friends and on recommendation; long and short term stays. I’ve dog sat from puppies to older dogs and big to small dogs so I have dealt with a wide range of different doggies. I love dogs whole heartedly and would love to take care of yours!! I am currently unemployed and a college student mostly online. So I’ve much time to focus on your pet and give them the best care. I truly love dogs and all animals and would give your pet the utmost attention. I’ll do whatever you need for your pet to have the best care. If they do stay with me I have a large fenced in backyard with much room for them to play around. I’ll give your dog plenty of walks. I’ll of course follow any instructions you give to me. I hope you can put your trust in me and I’ll make sure to prove you can.
“Despite not feeling well, Jennifer still showed up to make sure my dog got walked. She makes sure my dog gets as much movement as my stubborn dog is willing to participate in and plenty of pets. My dog really enjoys her time with Jennifer and I'll definitely book again.”

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Please feel free to reach out to me before booking my care and I will answer any and all questions! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

“Another stay at Walee for our Mosel. This time when we brought Mosel home she was sad and missed Walee and her family. After a few days and she was back to normal. Now we know we have found Mosels second family, and have no worries when we have to leave her behind. Thank you Walee we will be back.”

“Melissa and her family and pets were wonderful and took excellent care of my dog when I had to go out of town. She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates which is appreciated. I can highly recommend her.”

“Sara took excellent care of our dogs! They got to spend lots of time playing and taking walks and Sara even washed them before we picked them up. Sara was also familiar with the eye drops one of our dogs needs often, so we felt really comfortable with her ability to take care of that and everything else. Would definitely book Sara again to take care of our two big dogs!”
“This was the first time I've ever left Kira with someone I didnt already know. Irina did such an amazing job watching my active, attention needy dog lol. She sent me constant updates and pictures throughout kiras stay. I would 100% have Kira stay with Irina and her family again. Thank you so much!”

“Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . I gladly give Sixuan 5 stars for her excellent service and cannot recommend Sixuan highly enough! She did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my fur-baby!”

“Outstanding stay. Gregory was very thorough and asked plenty of questions before the stay in order to make sure my dog Emma had a great time. Gregory took great pictures of my dog while I was away and he kept her very active. Clean home and a great backyard for dogs of any size. 100% my first choice for future bookings.”
