About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and just recently said goodbye to my 17 year old pit bull rescue. I’ve been the go to sitter in my neighborhood for the past 15 years and I’m lucky to have been successful in our local fur community by word of mouth. I am well versed in senior dogs, dogs with physical limitations, dogs with allergies, administering medication, and handling reactive behaviors. I live in a large home with no roommates or pets, and have a large fenced yard with lots of areas to explore. There’s a hiking trail just feet away from my front door and I miss having my 4 legged companion to walk the trails with. Being the fur mom of a rescue, I understand that each dogs comes with instructions and I take that seriously. I understand the importance of activity in high energy dogs, and that new sitters need to be extra affectionate in the absence of a dogs owner. I love spending time outside and will love your fur baby as if it were my own! I generally work from home which allows for ample walks and mid day snuggles! If I need to go into the office, I am use to making time before and after work for walks. In addition the that, if owners are comfortable, dogs can have access to the fenced yard throughout the day. About: I was raised in a home full of dogs and cats. We took in any and all strays. Even had a pet duck that lived to be 12 years old. I have bottle fed puppies that the mom dog was too spoiled to care for and my English Bulldog taught me so much about how to deal with a dog with medical challenges. I'm patient and kind. Our dog is a total pandemic puppy, and Christine dealt with her separation anxiety with grace (especially considering this was our first long term trip away). We got daily updates and photos as well as a very thorough end of stay assessment that made it clear that Christine was attentive to our dog’s peculiarities and needs. It seemed like our dog’s stay was more than just a week of boarding - the socialization and training kept our dog engaged. Highly recommend.”
