About: Hello, I am a local who lives full time in Tahoe City. I've been a pet owner with both dogs and cats for the last 30+years. I am a mother of two grown children that are now off away at school. I work at the local elementary school with young children of special needs. I am a fun, caring and loving person who loves both animals and humans. I don't have any pets living with me so your pet would be the only one I would be caring for. I am free to take care of your pet most days, nights and some weekends. I work from home during the summer months so my schedule is always flexible. I currently live in a condo down the street from Lake Tahoe. There are numerous parks at the lake as well as many hiking trails to walk your dog at that are close by my place. I will always walk your dogs on a leash unless otherwise informed by owner to let run free in the woods and trails. I am very safe and responsible.

I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

About: I have grown up with all sorts of cats both young and old and have always been their primary caretaker in our home. I am a local living at the lake in Tahoe City. I work at the local elementary school with young children with special needs. I am a caring loving person that has pays great attention to details.
About: Greetings. I’ve had a best friend who was with me everyday for 15 years. I was with her from the beginning to the end. I am sensitive to the needs of our dogs and always very aware of our surroundings. I’m ultra aware of the cayotes up here and all their tricks. With the new smells and distractions for some dogs that are not from here I always feel safer to keep them on leash during our walks. I live alone in a quiet cabin on a quiet street, no traffic and no neighbors. Big fenced back yard and a small gated front porch. I know all the trails in Sierra track as well as the whole area. I’m very flexible and will take care of all the little things that are needed and the unexpected ones that pop up. I know how stressfull it can be traveling and then leaving your best friend with someone. I will communicate with you and make it easy and stress free. It’s a big adjustment not having my sweet girl Francis. I was so used to waking up and she was there, or coming home and she was sitting in my spot waiting for me. Honestly this is good for me having a dog around. It’s helping with this process I’m going through. I am very flexible and available almost anytime and on short notice if life happens. I know how that goes. I know the trails and areas to go that are safe and fun. Im an early riser, and I enjoy mornings walks when it’s nice and quiet with no traffic or crowds of people. I have no problem with taking the pup with me in the car to run a quick errand or even better a day trip somewhere. Some dogs love car rides with the window down and nose out. And some do not. It’s all optional, absolutely no problems leaving him or her at home while I’m out for a sec. I primarily work from home and would be with him/her almost all the time. My dog Francis was a little attached. Maybe loyal is a better word. I was very lucky with her and didn’t have to worry too much. But I learned to never ever let anything happen to her. Very aware of our environment. Cars, other dogs, cayotes, bees , bodies of water and all weather conditions, hot pavement and even to always avoid the drains/grates in the roads ect. I’m not disactred by my phone or anything else. I’ll only feed what the owner approves.
About: We have experience administering oral medications to cats (including pills/capsules and liquid syringe meds), as well as creams, blood sugar tests, and insulin injections. As cozy quiet cat people, we know the importance of a "ready for a cuddle" greeting as well as a "stay away when needed" look from any cat!

About: I've had my own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. I've been pet sitting for a few years now. I try to go on as many walks as possible and even bring them to work if the family is ok with it. I love animals of all ages! I have a full-time job but I can work from home 3 days a week. So I have plenty of free time to go out for walks or simply let them outside. I will make sure they get the attention they need. If they are outside I won't leave them out after dark on their own. Lock all doors for other furry visitors. Make sure they have a comfortable bed. Sometimes sleep together if it's ok with the parents. Have lots of toys and time for walks and play.

I’ve spent the past year working as a vet tech at a local veterinary hospital, so I’m very comfortable around dogs and cats. If your animal is every hurt or sick, I am qualified to take care, and watch over them. I’m used exercising, cleaning up after, and giving medications to animals. I’m also a dog mom to a black and white Mutt named Ray. As far as exercising your pet, it can range from short or long walks, trail walks, runs, or playing with toys, depending on what they need/like. House sitting will consist of me keeping your pet company, feeding, and all the exercise they need. If needed I can spend the night, or if you prefer I can come back in the morning. I am currently a bartender so I can be available to take your animals out during the day while you work! About: Hi! My name is Erika and I live in Truckee with my partner Sully and our middle aged husky-mix, Willy. Although, we commonly call her by her nickname, Bill. We’ve been providing house and dog sitting for the past few years now as I have a flexible remote job. Typically I bring Willy with me when watching other dogs as she loves to play! My partner, Sully, will help with dog sits at times. We do travel, as we have a travel trailer, so we will dog sit outside the Tahoe area as well when on the road.
