Susan is very experienced with dogs and knows how to adjust with each dog. I honestly thought Maya not eating while at a Rover’s was unusual behavior but she has observed that behavior with other dogs and has ideas on how to get her to eat. Susan came to the car to help carry items and she and Miguel helped us to the car bc it was dark outside. They are very considerate and genuine people. I liked there’s a pen to prevent Maya from running out the front door. They are experienced Rovers and really have considered everything. I also loved all the photos. They are studio quality. Susan is also very responsive. We’ll definitely book with Susan and Miguel again.”

I’ve then let two different families bring their dogs here at different times and sat them for a month in the summer. Iva also went to a house and dog sat an old dog and a baby cat. About: My experience comes from owning not just dogs (XL-XS) and cats, but many animals in my lifetime. To me, living with these animals is the best way to gain experience. I have also done many house sitting jobs for people with lots of pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. To me, the most important thing is establishing trust with your sitter, and I am a guaranteed safe person to trust any animal with. I’m great at reading animal body language and typically do well with all pets. I work at Panera, so my hours are not crazy, and never are usually longer than 4 hours, so pet sitting works great with my schedule. My college is also online so that doesn’t effect my schedule for the most part. In a clients home, it’s important to follow all of the instructions they provide, while also making their pets feel as if the owners never left.

“I can't speak highly enough of Art!! Smokey is our baby. Literally. So when we have to leave him it always tears me apart and I get awful anxiety. We typically leave him with family, but on this particular trip it wasn't an option. We found Art on Rover and decided to try him out. He let us come check out his home before deciding to leave Smokey for a long weekend. His place is perfectly set up! He provided bowls and kennels and made everything smooth. You can tell all the dogs that were there were very well taken care of and they all love Art. To top that off he kept us up to date daily with pics/video of smokey and screen shots of their walks. Smokey had a blast with all of his new friends. It even seemed like he was sad to leave. Hiiiighlyyyy recommend Ary for all your boarding needs.”
