About: Hi! My name is Mitzi, and I’m 24 years old. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for more than half of it, and caring for them truly comes naturally to me. I currently have two spayed Shih Tzus and a friendly Doberman, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. My dogs do great around other dogs, and I’ve also cared for family members’ and friends’ pets while they’ve been away on vacation, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can fully trust with your fur baby. I have experience with both long-haired and short-haired dogs, and I genuinely love everything that comes with caring for them. I homeschool during the morning and have fun by mid afternoon so adding some visitors to my day would be my pleasure! Both my Bombay cat and Deer Chihuahua were rescued. I work with many rescues in the surrounding areas to make sure all strays brought home find their forever homes. I do live in a rental so I do request that they are potty trained! Both my cat and dog are fully house broke and getting up in the night for those midnight tinkle breaks are possible since my dog is a senior and needs to go too. I hope that gives you a little insight to my life and allows you to be comfortable in choosing me as your fur babies mini vaca destination. I have a fully fenced decent size back yard with cameras for lots of room to run and get their wiggles out or just explore and sunbathe. I have a large crate if they prefer some quiet time alone just request you bring their favorite bed or blanket so they have a piece of home to comfort them.

I got Moose when he was 7 weeks old, so high energy dogs, I can take care of those too. I have been taking care of my mom’s cats for many years as well, she has 7. I take care of other people's animals as is if they're my own. I enjoy walking dogs, and if I could walk dogs for a living, I definitely would!! I've even chicken sat! :) I also enjoy just spending time with a dog or cat around. I'm also a runner, so if I need to run with a dog, I'm willing to do so. I can walk any amount of time whether it's 15 minutes or an hour. I love dogs and cats and will take care of them as if they're my own. See photos for all the pets I've had and taken care of!! I'm available all day on the weekends and in the evenings during the week. It would most likely be after 5pm Monday through Friday that I can make myself available.
