We were skeptical because we don’t leave our dog and 4 month old puppy with anyone. Cynthia exceeded our expectations, she sent us small videos, pictures, and updates throughout their entire stay 2 and a half days, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves and celebrate with our son. She’s such a calm but independent cat who I’ve had for 11 years and got for my birthday when she was 6 weeks old. I am happy to give your pets medicine (if any), make homemade dog food if that's what you do, be alert when taking smaller dogs outside to pee, make sure pets don't sneak outside and ensure gates are locked to prevent run-aways. One thing about me is that I like to be present and not scroll away on my phone as much while on the job. “Daysha is a lifesaver! I came into town from over eight hours away under very stressful circumstances and had never been to the area before. When my pet sitter canceled at the last minute, I decided to bring my almost two-year-old Chinese Crested with me. My mom suggested trying Rover for doggy daycare. It was 9 PM and less than 48 hours before my arrival, but Daysha responded immediately. She was communicative, professional, and instantly put my mind at ease. She happily agreed to care for my pup on short notice, asked thoughtful questions about his routine, diet, and personality, and was incredibly flexible with an early morning drop-off and pickup time. On our way there, we discovered that the nonrefundable hotel I had booked didn’t allow pets. I had been misinformed and immediately panicked. We reached out to Daysha to ask if she could accommodate an overnight stay instead—even though we were still seven hours away and wouldn’t arrive until around 11 PM. She didn’t hesitate for a second and said, “no problem!” My dog sleeps with me every night, and this was our first time apart. I hadn’t planned for him to stay elsewhere, but Daysha was completely prepared and even had a crate available since I hadn’t brought one. She and her adorable chihuahua mix, Harlow, met us outside, and we introduced the dogs on leash first in a neutral space—such a thoughtful and knowledgeable approach. Then we moved to the backyard so they could get more comfortable off-leash. She even invited us inside briefly before I said goodbye, which I really appreciated. I was worried my pup might have a hard time adjusting, especially since he’s used to sleeping with me, but Daysha handled everything with ease. She didn’t force him into the crate (which meant a lot to me), and he ended up sleeping comfortably in the bed I brought. Throughout his stay, I received regular photo and video updates, and Daysha remained consistently communicative. Honestly, I think it was harder on me than it was on my dog! I’m so grateful for this experience—Daysha truly went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her again.”

About: I absolutely adore dogs and have been around them all my life. I can't even imagine life without dogs. My very first job was at a dog kennel and then through my teens and 20s I worked at pet stores where I learned about all kinds of animals. I love them all but dogs are my heart and soul. I have 3 small dogs that are well loved and spoiled, so I take smaller breeds for boarding or daycare. I believe dogs are part of the family so I know how important yours is to you and how hard it is to leave them. Our fur babies are like our kids. I will treat them as my own. The pets needs come 1st, they are my kids. I recently left my full time school district job and now just do shift/gig work whenever I chose. I will keep my calendar updated continuously. If it turns out that you want to bring your pooch daily/permanently I will be all for it. Its of course possible I may need to run and errand or go to the dr., if so , the dogs will be secured,house locked and I will return as soon as possible, no longer that an hour, 2 at the most . If I'm doing a drop in visit to your house, I will come in give your pets some love, let them out to potty, probably go for a walk, of course follow any instructions you left for me, Id take some pictures to send to you, hang out and play and then secure your home and animals back up.

About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. A few years later, she passed from choking while eating something that I think had a bone in it and that was the first experience of heartbreak/loss. A few years after that, I adopted my current pet cat on my birthday, Ace, who I love so much. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet. Not currently doing pet sitting or boarding at my own home, maybe I will be more likely to in the future but I’m not sure yet.
About: I grew up taking care of 3 cats and 1 dog. Unfortunately 2 of my cats passed away due to old age, but one is still hanging on 14 years strong! My dog is older, but a few years ago I got my boyfriend a puppy, who ended up having puppies of his own. 2 from the litter are now mine and they are currently 1 year old.
