“Huina was the perfect pick to board our Teddy boy with for the weekend. We had booked last minute and were worried that we wouldn’t be able to find anyone to take care of Teddy, but she responded immediately and accepted Teddy to stay with her and her family. Upon drop off Teddy was so comfortable going with her immediately, there was no hesitation. I received my first update about Teddy within minutes and knew Teddy was good hands. Huina kept us updated very consistently and sent videos and pictures that helped all my worries go away. Teddy was welcomed into their home and made new friends with this family and we will definitely book with her again if she is available. I cannot recommend her enough and will be telling all of my friends and family how happy we were and more importantly how happy Teddy was with her. “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

About: I've had pets my entire life! I currently have dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. I foster homeless and lost pets that I find out in the streets, including hawks lol. I am very respectful with senior and disabled dogs. I am happy to give your pets medicine (if any), make homemade dog food if that's what you do, be alert when taking smaller dogs outside to pee, make sure pets don't sneak outside and ensure gates are locked to prevent run-aways. I love my pets and I will ensure to take care of your pets as I would with mine. I will make them feel comfortable, safe, loved while you are away, so don't worry! I will be happy to also send pictures and videos and hop on facetime, so you can chat with your babies! I work from home M-F, so I am able to step away from my work to tend to your pets needs whether that's taking them out for a walk, out to pee/poop, feed them, play and take any medication of theirs (if any). I will take care of your pets as I take care of mine. I will ensure they are always in my sight and not be distracted on my phone as much. One thing about me is that I like to be present and not scroll away on my phone as much while on the job. I am always alert to hear if any pets are not chewing on things they're not supposed to in case of a choking hazard. In the past with foster pets, I've had to clear airways for them when they were choking, so I'm not afraid to stick my hand in their mouths to remove the object/food. I will ensure gates and doors are locked to prevent runaways.
About: I grew up around dogs. I cannot remember a time in my life in which I did not own a dog. I love dogs with all my heart. When caring for your pet at your home, I stick to their routine, including feeding, medication, and plenty of playtime and affection. I am happy to give your pets medicine (if any), make homemade dog food if that's what you do, be alert when taking smaller dogs outside to pee, make sure pets don't sneak outside and ensure gates are locked to prevent run-aways. One thing about me is that I like to be present and not scroll away on my phone as much while on the job. In the past with foster pets, I've had to clear airways for them when they were choking, so I'm not afraid to stick my hand in their mouths to remove the object/food. About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. A few years later, she passed from choking while eating something that I think had a bone in it and that was the first experience of heartbreak/loss. A few years after that, I adopted my current pet cat on my birthday, Ace, who I love so much. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet. Not currently doing pet sitting or boarding at my own home, maybe I will be more likely to in the future but I’m not sure yet.
About: Growing up with dogs I realize all dogs are good dogs but it takes time to understand them and build trust. It doesn’t matter if your dog is in training or well trained already, I’m ready to give them a home away from home while you are busy. I work from home and I am home most of the time. “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”
