I am a 3 sport athlete with a 3.8 gpa thats ready for energetic playful dogs and lazy couch potato dogs, as i have both kinds myself! My schedule is fairly open most days. I have college wrestling practice on weekdays from 4–6 PM, but aside from that, I'm generally available throughout the summer, with the exception of a few occasions when I need to care for my younger brother, who has special needs. I was raised to respect people houses and living space. I have never and will never drink or smoke. I let my own dogs out 3 times a day morning evening and night with walks at night so they and I dont overheat. I love playing fetch and tug of war with them and by the time their inside their big lazy couch potatoes i love to sit with.

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. I have been taking care of all types of animals especially dogs and cats since as far back as I can remember! I love caring for all types of animals and have references. About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work during the day time usually from 8-1 or 9-3. I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.
About: Pet sitting and house sitting has always been a fun, exciting task for me. I have been taking care of pets for a long time and I make sure I do the job well. I am always looking for new experiences and new learning opportunities! I am currently a student athlete at Vanguard Universiry and my availability is normally free throughout the weekends. I am looking to fill my time with new loving pets! I make sure all the fences are locked and crates as well and I want to make sure the pets are comfortable. With my pets, I make sure their water is filled, they went to the bathroom if they are staying inside, and I make sure the doors are closed in case they wander around. I also like to make sure their bed is out and comfortable for them.

I have also fostered and volunteered at animal shelters I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have plenty of time to play and care for your pups. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl. I grew up taking care of my dogs and my dad and mom have always taught me how to care and take care of my pets. When I was around 10 years old I started walking my neighbors dog and dog sitting when they went out of town. I also pet sit for the people I used to nanny for when they went on vacations. I have 4 dogs at home that I love so much. I hope you will give me the chance to help out. I am currently working part time at a private school with autistic children. I have scheduled sessions Monday through Friday. I am able to work around it if you communicate with me. I am also pregnant!
