About: I’ve been working with all kinds of dog breeds and temperaments for 5 years. Having been a training and using my knowledge on how to build solid foundation and structure to have trust, respect and love from the dogs that I have come to meet. I’m available the majority of the week. This gives me opportunity to have the dogs socialize in groups or on walks during the day. I can drop off or pick up at an owners home if I’m able to, but I’m also open to meet people half way if it makes things easier. Depending on the group I may have that day, I like to have them all in a play group. After I enjoy taking them on walks around the neighborhood or depending giving field trips to the park since I live close by. In the afternoon they get a nap time, usually if they get lunch I wait for them to rest before they revive their food. When nap time is over they return outside, back into play groups. Then the process repeats where they get another nap time, play time and then dinner if they receive one. I am also available to work around a specific routine or schedule may have for their own dog. My goal at the end of the day is for the dogs to receive good exercise, enriching social time and enjoy their rest period. A tired dog is a happy dog. Understanding that each dog is different and not all dogs have the same energy level, I try and give each dog the right amount attention they deserve to make them feel fulfilled and happy.
About: What sets me a part of the fact that I owned a vet rescue with as many as 45 cats and 25 dogs. Definitely under understand how to take care of cats and dogs. “Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”
About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. I have two different sized crates and fenced areas to give my cats space when new dogs are visiting.

I have a fenced yard and always supervise dogs when they are outside. And escape artist dogs are leashes while in the yard with me.

I am able to provide care for senior animals as well as pass medications accurately and on-time. About: I’ve been working with all kinds of dog breeds and temperaments for 5 years. Having been a training and using my knowledge on how to build solid foundation and structure to have trust, respect and love from the dogs that I have come to meet. I’m available the majority of the week. This gives me opportunity to have the dogs socialize in groups or on walks during the day. I can drop off or pick up at an owners home if I’m able to, but I’m also open to meet people half way if it makes things easier. Depending on the group I may have that day, I like to have them all in a play group. After I enjoy taking them on walks around the neighborhood or depending giving field trips to the park since I live close by. In the afternoon they get a nap time, usually if they get lunch I wait for them to rest before they revive their food. When nap time is over they return outside, back into play groups. Then the process repeats where they get another nap time, play time and then dinner if they receive one. I am also available to work around a specific routine or schedule may have for their own dog. My goal at the end of the day is for the dogs to receive good exercise, enriching social time and enjoy their rest period. A tired dog is a happy dog. Understanding that each dog is different and not all dogs have the same energy level, I try and give each dog the right amount attention they deserve to make them feel fulfilled and happy.
