About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Collie, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to welcome a dog back into our lives. In 2024, we adopted Izzy, our sweet and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family absolutely loves having Izzy around, and I’d love the opportunity to give your dog that same attention, affection, and care while you’re away. If you prefer I visit your home to check in on your animal, I am happy to do so. I can stay at your home between 9a-2pm M-F or pop in on weeknights and weekends, or you may opt to board them at our home. Dogs staying with us can easily go in and out throughout the day to play, explore, relax in the yard, or come back inside whenever they want. Izzy is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, but I will always make introductions thoughtfully and pay close attention to each dog's personality and comfort level. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleep preferences, and any special instructions. You'll also receive daily photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.

Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: I've had two dogs of my own as an adult, grew up with family dogs, and regularly do walks and drop-ins for my neighbor's dog. Both of my boys were brachycephalic breeds, so I understand how much care that takes — I'm especially attentive to heat sensitivity, breathing, and pacing during walks, and I know how to read a dog's signals and adjust accordingly. I've taken several dog training classes, read several books on positive dog training, and understand a dog's body language and signals. I've also cared for both senior and sick dogs, including my English bulldog who lived to 12 and my Frenchie that I supported through IVDD and surgery. I'm currently between jobs at the moment, and both my kids are in school. I'm generally open from 9am to 4pm for drop-ins and walks. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. Pets are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and cared for in a clean, calm environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines, instructions, and house rules to help pets feel comfortable and stress free in their familiar environment. “Had a last minute trip and needed to find someone to watch my dog. None of my friend's were available, so I had to use someone on Rover. I was very nervous, as I hadn't used Rover before. My dog is very important to me and it was unsettling to leave him with a stranger. However, the stay with Kate worked out really well. She was flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. From scheduling our initial visit, to drop off, to pickup. Flexible drop off and pick up times are huge and are one of the biggest hassles when dealing with a kennel. She was nice enough to assemble and disassemble his crate for me, which was a nice surprise, given how hectic traveling can be. I look forward to future bookings with Kate.”
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Collie, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to welcome a dog back into our lives. In 2024, we adopted Izzy, our sweet and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family absolutely loves having Izzy around, and I’d love the opportunity to give your dog that same attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have plenty of companionship throughout the day, along with playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of love. If you prefer I visit your home to check in on your animal, I am happy to do so. I can stay at your home between 9a-2pm M-F or pop in on weeknights and weekends, or you may opt to board them at our home. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door. Dogs staying with us can easily go in and out throughout the day to play, explore, relax in the yard, or come back inside whenever they want. Your dog will be treated like one of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. I’m happy to answer any questions, arrange a meet-and-greet, or even give you a quick tour so you can feel completely comfortable with where your treasured family member will be staying. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. Because I only host one dog family at a time, I can provide individualized attention and avoid the stress that can come with a home full of unfamiliar animals. We have a clean, non-smoking, kid-friendly home and a large, fully fenced yard. Our doggie door provides supervised-by-presence access between the house and fenced yard, giving your dog the flexibility to go outside for potty breaks or play without having to wait for someone to open the door. Izzy is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, but I will always make introductions thoughtfully and pay close attention to each dog's personality and comfort level. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleep preferences, and any special instructions. You'll also receive daily photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.
