Her Boston Terrier plays very nicely with others. Our Lab got lots of love and attention from Sophie, including regular walks in the low-traffic neighborhood near Dominican U. It is abundantly clear that Sophie, an energetic college student trying to earn some money on Rover, could not be more motivated to take phenomenal care of your cherished companion. She did so with our 4 year-old Lab.”
About: Growing up, I have always been around animals. I currently have a dog and two cats of my own that I love unconditionally. I have house sat for families with a variety of pets. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was a middle schooler. Between my family dogs and dogs who have lived in my home since then I have been responsible for at least 7 dogs, of all shapes, sizes and demeanors. I've kept moody Dachshunds, energetic Shelties, even tempered Retrievers and even rescue Pitbulls. I love hiking and getting outdoors, and bringing a canine friend along. I currently have one dog of my own, a peppy rescue mix, and he is my best friend I am available to dog/house sit very regularly. I am an ecological land designer working most days from home with the exception of days where I need to do a site visit or connect with my team in person. I can pretty much work from anywhere with a good internet connection, so most days would be able to be around in case your dog needs more frequent walks or attention. In addition to dogs I love other pets and plants! If you have house plants, a veggie garden or other plants that need some watering or attention while you're away I'll be able to help in the department as well! I work from home most days, so I am able to be flexible around a pets needs regarding feeding, walks, and medication. Ocassionally I do have to leave home for work, and that is typically up to 4 hours. We have one dog at home and since we don't have a yard, we typically take him up on the ridge to walk, or to the Red hill Dog park or San Quentin beach. I have fostered from a local organization in San Francisco while living there, looked after many clients dogs since 2015 and now I am lucky to have found my own sweet baby, a Maltipoo named Frankie. Our house has a fully fenced yard, mostly concrete with some grass on our hill behind the house. I will send pics throughout the visit and you can text me at any time for updates. I am hoping to adopt my first furry friend soon, and would love to take care of yours in the meantime! I am working from home 5 days a week, and therefore have a flexible schedule. I’ve worked with breeds of all different shapes and sizes and would be happy to work with your dog as well! In your home, I am respectful of your property and surroundings and can follow all instructions left! I work from home full-time so am available to help as needed! My schedule is flexible. About: I have loved animals all my life. I have a special place in my heart for all animals. I have owned and taken care of animals for 40 years. I have a way about myself that puts animals on ease and makes them feel welcome. I can not wait to take the best care of your loved and cherished pet. Thank you for your consideration. I am currently on a sabbatical so I have plenty of time to pet sit. I am available weekends, evenings, and mornings. I am available for long-term arrangements. I have a small fenced yard and I love to go on long walks. I give pets lots off affection and attention if they want it. I also just let them relax if that is what they need. About: I have 2 dogs of my own at home! We love spending our nights after work at the dog park or going on hikes together on the weekends. Most of my friends and neighbors ask me to take care of their pups whenever they travel and it’s something that brings me a lot of joy! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can take breaks and go for long or short walks throughout the day. I am most free before work, during my lunch break 1:00-2:00pm or after 5:30pm I am very attentive to the needs of each pet and make sure they feel relaxed in any situation. I have dogs of my own at home and understand the importance of keeping them leashed and safe.
“We left our two Frenchies with Carolyn for 5 days and had an amazing experience. One of our dogs is a senior who needs daily medication and can be very particular with people—she’s honestly more like a cat! Carolyn understood all the instructions, gave her the medication every day without issues, and handled her personality with so much patience and care. She gave her space when she needed it, and by the end of the stay our dog was calmly resting on Carolyn’s lap. Both pups were well taken care of, and Carolyn kept us updated throughout the stay, which we really appreciated. She was incredibly caring and communicative. We’d definitely trust her again with our dogs!”

About: I was raised in a home full of dogs and cats. We took in any and all strays. Even had a pet duck that lived to be 12 years old. I have bottle fed puppies that the mom dog was too spoiled to care for and my English Bulldog taught me so much about how to deal with a dog with medical challenges. I'm patient and kind. I'm currently working as an assistant TK teacher and I only work part-time so I have plenty of time to watch over your fur babies. My apt is safe and I can take them on neighborhood walks or hikes. I'm fully capable of taking care of dogs or cats in my home or yours.
