About: Although I have never owned a dog myself, I have several years of experience caring for family dogs. My sister has had a dog since 2016, and my mom got a dog in 2023. I regularly help care for them when my family is out of town, including feeding them on schedule, providing fresh food and water, taking them on walks, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. While I do not have extensive pet-sitting experience, I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with patience, love, and responsibility. About: I currently have a chocolate point Siamese female nine year old cat with beautiful blue eyes. I don’t allow her around any dogs and she is always kept away in a separate room until the dog has left. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and just recently said goodbye to my 17 year old pit bull rescue. I’ve been the go to sitter in my neighborhood for the past 15 years and I’m lucky to have been successful in our local fur community by word of mouth. I am well versed in senior dogs, dogs with physical limitations, dogs with allergies, administering medication, and handling reactive behaviors. I live in a large home with no roommates or pets, and have a large fenced yard with lots of areas to explore. There’s a hiking trail just feet away from my front door and I miss having my 4 legged companion to walk the trails with. Normally they would just play in the back but our yard was too flooded to permit it. Lydia jumped in to help on very short notice and in the middle of some crazy weather. She was punctual and took Nova out on a different walk each morning that we needed her. She is communicative, responsible, and took good care of our spoiled princess baby. I highly recommend her!”

About: I am a very responsible dog owner who would love to take care of your pet! My dog (Milo) is a 8 year old Goldendoodle and loves playing with other dogs. I take my dog on daily walks and enjoy playing fetch with him. I work in Tiburon Tuesday through Thursday but have a flexible lunch that I can use for drop in visits. I have 2 separate places in my house that your dog would feel comfortable, either in a carpeted room or hardwood floors. My dog loves going back and forth between these two areas

About: I’ve cared for dogs in a wide range of situations, including senior dogs, special-needs pups, and dogs recovering from injuries. Most dogs love nature, and it's exciting to see them perk up on walks at the sound of chirping birds, rustling brush, or a skittering lizard. There are great dog-friendly nature paths in Novato and San Rafael that give the pups both sniffing and social opportunities, so they come home tired and content. What I’m especially good at is communication. I pay close attention to a dog’s eyes, ears, posture, and energy, because they tell you so much before they ever make a sound. I use a gentle “dog voice” (yes, the sweet baby-talk voice) and clear, steady cues, because many dogs respond quickly to warmth, tone, and consistency. Even anxious or shy dogs usually soften when they realize they’re being understood. I’ve also cared for large dogs, and my Labrador retriever loves having big buddies to play with. No matter the size, age, or temperament, I’m respectful of each dog’s individual needs, and I make sure they feel safe, seen, and truly cared for with plenty of affection, attention, patience, and exercise. I currently work from home, and I have a (mostly) flexible schedule. I like to get out with my dog two times a day for 2+ mile walks on local trails and parks. I respect people's spaces, and I am good at following detailed instructions for homes and their pets. I have references and happy clients to tell you about it!
