Without asking, Sara took the initiative sending updates and images of Kona throughout her stay. Sara quickly replied to my inquiries before and during Kona's stay. One of the reasons why I initially chose Sara, was the experience she listed as working in a veterinary's office and the fact that she put together a very thorough bio describing her background in working with animals. I was initially considering a kennel in Arroyo Grande but was concerned that being in a large kennel environment would be hard on a senior dog like my Kona. With Sara's veterinary experience, she felt that a quieter home environment would be easier on a senior dog, without me bringing up this concern of mine. I work entirely from home and already care for my own animals. Which I take my dogs for walks in my beautiful neighborhood and they play in my large fenced area as well. This was an amazing experience for him (as a city dog that only gets to play with other dogs at the dog park). I can't imagine another scenario where he would have got to interact and play with such a diverse array of animals. Amanda clearly knows how to handle animals as well. She briefed us on her background training and handling all sorts of different animals and then backed it up with hourly videos showing us a new trick she had taught Myth - or a fun picture/video of Myth playing with one of her other animals (shoutout to her new dog Anakin who is an absolute good boy and new best friend of Myth's). She even asked us if it was okay to take Myth to the dog park. Her communication during Myth's stay helped us relax while out and about. She is clearly an animal lover to the core. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure Myth would have been happy to stay on Amanda's ranch forever. 10/10 experience ... and her rate is super reasonable for the amazing experience your dog is going to get under her care. Dogs can lounge around under the ceiling fans, if they wish. Safe and friendly environment is my main concern. Photos and videos are a norm.

The others are a chihuahua, doxin, and mini schnauzer. So, my home is especially perfect if your pet would like some play mates! I also have a doggy kitty pool if he/she likes water. If needed, I also have a large cozy crate and separate fenced yard for separation.

I am however able to watch cats in my home! I'm able to check in on your living pets throughout the day and take your pup/pups on long walks. And spend quality time with her/him while you are away. Then of course there is belly scratching time or perhaps a game of catch. Your pup is sure to be spoiled by me! Also I am able to feed and water any other pets you may have while I am there. I would love to meet with you and your precious pup, for a walk around the block! I accept all types of doggies, kitties and such!! Without asking, Sara took the initiative sending updates and images of Kona throughout her stay. Sara quickly replied to my inquiries before and during Kona's stay. One of the reasons why I initially chose Sara, was the experience she listed as working in a veterinary's office and the fact that she put together a very thorough bio describing her background in working with animals. I was initially considering a kennel in Arroyo Grande but was concerned that being in a large kennel environment would be hard on a senior dog like my Kona. With Sara's veterinary experience, she felt that a quieter home environment would be easier on a senior dog, without me bringing up this concern of mine. About: I have been an avid animal lover my entire life, and have a special interest in dogs. I have a base level of knowledge on all breeds and creeds that goes beyond the typical level of interest for most folks. I have always been the person who brings home every stray I see, and I currently have a mini dachshund puppy named Lady May! I have experience working with senior dogs, puppies, medically complex dogs, and of course, just normal dogs! I also have experience in working with and caring for exotic pets including rabbits, chameleons, turtles, tortoises, and frogs.
