We highly recommend Kelly and would board our dogs with her again!”

About: I know firsthand how much love, patience, and attention a cat needs, thanks to my three year old ragdoll Azul. Being a dedicated cat parent has taught me a lot about reading feline body language, managing different feeding routines, and recognizing when a kitty just needs quiet space versus a full-on play session. I offer drop-in visits. The basics are covered obviously: food, fresh water, and a spotless litter box. I also put great effort into ensuring your cat is entertained (and exercised). You can expect a solid update and lots of fun photos after every single visit. I really enjoy sharing those great moments so you always know your cat is safe, relaxed, and doing well while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your feline friend!

“Aik came by the house before his petsitting visit to learn where everything was... he followed instructions perfectly and sent a picture of the one cat who came out to see him when he was here. Looking forward to having him take care of the cats, house and plants again!”

“Rachel was an amazing sitter for our cat. We were gone for six week, Rachel always sent messages and pictures each time she visited. She was also always quick to respond to random requests while we were away such as watering our plants. Her responsiveness made us feel better about leaving our cat alone for an extended period of time and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Rachel!”

About: I’ve had experience caring for cats since I was younger, having owned and cared for my own growing up. Through that, I’ve learned to understand their behavior, respect their boundaries, and recognize that every cat has their own unique personality. Whether they’re playful, independent, or a little shy at first, I know how to adjust my approach to make them feel safe and comfortable.
“Michelle is a wonderful and trustworthy sitter. She is always communicative and responsible with our pets. We have a sick elderly cat and she always makes sure her medication is taken or any new updates are followed. She has been understanding of last minute changes and always tries to help. Very glad we found her!”

“Milena is fantastic! We have three cats, one of which is rather cagey and requires medication every day. Milena took the time to do that as well as play with them and brush them. On the second day, our cat refused to come out for her medication. Milena took extra time to coax her out, was open to trying other methods to make her more relaxed, and kept communication open. Milena went above and beyond, highly recommend!”

“Our Dog loves Aime! She is very reliable and communicative. She's walked our pup a couple times a week and we are so happy to have found her. She is kind, loving and takes extra good care of Manti Carlo.”

“Olivia was amazing with my two kitties. She is very communicative and patient with all my questions. She came by for a meet and greet and dropped off my key afterwords in a timely manner. She sent me many photos for each check in, and left a very detailed description for her updates. I highly recommend Olivia she’s very personable and loves animals. Thank you Olivia!”

About: I have years of experience pet and house sitting, as well as fostering animals from two separate rescue organizations for months at a time. I am the proud owner of a ten-year old Siberian cat named Annabelle, who I take care of. I have pet sit for multiple repeat clients, ranging from neighbors to family friends, all of which were satisfied with my thoroughness, responsibility, and attentiveness. As a fierce animal enthusiast, I am dedicated to making your pet feel loved, understood, and cared for while you are away. I am also willing to do odd jobs around the house such as watering house plants, if needed.

About: I have been a dedicated pet parent and caregiver for both dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. In addition to my own dog and cat, I have years of experience checking in on, feeding, and playing with pets for neighbors and friends. I am a very active person who enjoys long walks, and I am equally comfortable providing the quiet, specialized attention that cats often need. Whether your pet needs a high-energy hike or a patient companion for cuddles, I am happy to follow their specific routine to keep them happy and safe.

“Our experience with Rong was terrific! She cared for our cats for a couple days while we were away. She was prompt, thorough, and communicative. One day it looked like the cats got into a tiff and there was hair tufts all over the hallway. She let us know, sent photos and cleaned up after them. We appreciated her care for our cats and home, as well as the updates and pics that she provided. Thanks so much Rong! We’ll be in touch again!”

“I was very pleased with the care Natalie provided for our cat while I was away. She was reliable, responsible, and clearly cares about animals. Natalie kept me updated on how our cat was doing, and I appreciated the peace of mind that came with knowing she was in good hands. Our cat seemed happy and content when I returned, and I would definitely recommend Natalie to others looking for a trustworthy pet sitter for their feline friends. She did a great job!”

“Irina is very lovely lady and caring our cat so much! She followed all instructions, and visited our cat timely. She even stayed longer than our original booking window to spend time and play with Capy. Took a lot photos and video to make sure we feel comfortable during our leave. Our cat is a shy boy, usually hide from strangers but not to Irina. He even showed his belly with trust to her, that says something! We will not hesitate to work with Irina when necessary for next time, thank you so much!🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️”

“Cecilia is pretty fantastic! We have a very timid cat who took months to warm up to me. But apparently she had no trouble warming up to Cecilia! She was very well taken care of and we will inevitably rebook again with Cecilia!”

“Mario took great care of our dogs- when we were on vacation. We appreciate the communication and photos. We will definitely ask him to help out in the future.”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
“Anna and Conrad took great care of Teddy for the day and was able to accommodate our last minute request for booking and changes. Our guy is a little shy around other dogs so they were extra patient and caring to ensure he was okay and even allowed us to meet before our daycare so the dogs can get exposure. We also have a special diet and due to a recent illness and they were able to continue with our feeding instructions (even letting us know how much he consumed in the meal). I would be more than happy to drop off our dog for another session with them. Thank you Anna, Conrad, Mochi, and Olive!”

“Andy took such good care of Korra. Korra had fun playing with Milo, going for walk and even got pan fried beef for lunch! Now that's more than most of us get for our lunch 😀. Andy also shared lots of pictures and videos during the day. We will definitely book Andy for future daycare and boarding needs.”

“Diana was so welcoming and accommodating to Teddy. They have a lovely house with a big back yard that he loved. She was also flexible with seeing whether Teddy would get along with other dogs she was boarding. The pictures she sent me that day made me feel like Teddy was in such good hands. He loved it there.”

“Michael is phenomenal! He is responsive and attentive to detail. You can tell he has a lot of experience. Our pup warmed up to him right away & I could tell she was in good hands. We will continue to utilize him for our future needs.”

About: We’re dog lovers (currently without our own furball) and would love to care for yours. Our pet parent history: Over 18 years, we've raised puppies (black Lab and Boxer mix) and then a cool cat found us, making a party of 5. Post-trio, we rescued a middle-aged Boxer who was sweet on humans but not so much with other dogs and spent several years walking on the wild side with her before she became street-settled. We've been dog park regulars and hosted furritos of friends for slumber parties and were short-term vacation fosters. We've gently nursed our dogs through neuropathy, lung cancer, and Cushing's disease. We found great people to care for our girls on Rover and want to do the same for you! We miss being dog parents dearly and will care for your pets as if they were our own. If you happen to have dog & cat siblings, they are welcome, too! It’s summer break for one of us and the other is self-employed, so we have tons of time to dedicate to your furrito! We prefer not to leave your pup unattended — generally one of us will be with your doggo at all times. Your dog(s) will have access to all parts of our non-smoking home, sofa and beds included! Our dogs were free range, we do not have a crate. We are happy to use yours, please bring if needed. We’ll schedule a meet & greet ahead of time to make sure that you’ll both feel comfortable with us while apart and that your dog is a good match for us. Our home is 2 stories (wood floors downstairs, carpeted stairs & upstairs) with a front yard and small back patio area. We're in a safe neighborhood where we'll take daily walks.

I am a very active person who loves long walks, so I can ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I’m also highly organized and comfortable following specific feeding or medication schedules to keep your pup's routine consistent. I currently work in healthcare administration during the week, which means my weekends are entirely dedicated to pet care! I am available for full-time boarding and house sitting from Friday evening through Sunday night. Because I am a student and work a consistent schedule, I am very reliable and punctual with my check-ins and walk times. Your pup will have my full attention during their stay! I have a friendly dog of my own who loves making new friends, making my home a great 'social' spot for your pup. I am very comfortable with 'Meet & Greets' to ensure everyone gets along. I maintain a clean, safe space and am happy to accommodate crate training or any specific home boundaries you have in place.
“Kelly was great with our 2 little dogs. We were in town attending a family function and we were able to book with her from 4:30pm to 10:45pm on a Sunday. She provided us with picture updates and was really communicative which made us, worried dog parents, feel better. We highly recommend her and will use her services again next time we’re in this area.”

“Yvette was awesome and great to work with! This was my first time using Rover and I can say because of her I will definitely be using it again! Charlie had a blast and I can tell he was well taken care of while my partner and I were at work. 10/10 recommend!”

“Leila and her daughters took the best care of my baby! She had a great time playing with the other dogs. Hazel is only able to have a special food and Leila and the girls made sure she didn't get any one else's food and had fresh clean water for her when she arrived. She also gets cold easily and they watched her closely and covered her with her blanket. They also provided extra supervision in the backyard when she was observed trying to eat a piece of bark. I feel very comfortable leaving her with Leila and her daughters. Also Leila is accommodating with schedule changes and super quick to respond to messages. We love her!”

“Courtney is a great daycare provider for our dog, Navi! Navi is always so happy when we arrive and can't wait to play with her friends. Courtney's home provides the space for dogs to run around and get their exercise. Navi always comes home wiped out.”

“Very clean home and our pup seemed like he really enjoyed his stay with Hui! She sent photos throughout the day and was very attentive. I appreciate her understanding and care with puppy. I hope she can watch Harvey in the future!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature. I grew up with a dog and a duck, and have continuously lived in homes with cats and dogs through college and graduate school, so I’m very comfortable with their routines and behavior. I’ve also cared for pets for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, cleaning, and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and keeping pets on their normal schedule. I also have three tortoises of my own, including one I’ve had for nearly 23 years, which has made me especially attentive to routines, environment, and long-term care. I am currently volunteering at the Kitten Nursery with the Peninsula Humane Society, where I help taking care of kittens too young for adoption. I have a very flexible schedule through freelance consulting work, which allows me to be available for pet care most days of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate a variety of schedules, whether it’s regular visits or last-minute needs. The only consistent commitment I have is volunteering on Monday afternoons at the Peninsula Humane Society, but outside of that, I’m highly flexible and able to adjust to your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, litter box or cleanup routines, exercise, and any specific preferences your pet is used to. I take a calm and patient approach, especially with shy or more independent pets, and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space. I also keep the home clean and organized, and treat it with the same respect I would my own. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or health and will communicate updates regularly so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

I’m reliable, patient, and will treat your dog like my own while keeping you updated along the way! I’m currently in between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to work around your needs. Whether you need regular walks, last-minute help, or extra time and attention for your dog, I’m happy to accommodate and provide reliable care. I prioritize safe, comfortable walks tailored to each dog’s needs and energy level. I’m reliable, communicative, and will treat your dog with the same care and attention as my own.

“I had to move to Fremont but let me tell whoever reads this: I can’t find anyone like Janet! My dog loves her. Very communicative, works with your schedule and treats your dog like he is her own ! I’m half tempted to move back to San Mateo just for her! Thanks for loving my Duke the way I do!”

About: Hi! I’m Tina, a lifelong dog lover who truly believes pets are family. Growing up, I had a Pekingese who was part of our family for 16 wonderful years, she was my best friend, and I was involved in her care every single day, from walks and feeding to just spending time together. In high school I also helped walk and care for dogs in my neighborhood, which gave me experience with all kinds of personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I’m not a professionally trained handler, but I think honesty goes a long way when someone is trusting you with their dog. What I can genuinely offer is patience, attentiveness, and a lot of love. I’m actually looking into additional pet care training because this is something I really enjoy and want to keep growing in. I work fully remotely, which means I can provide lots of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, walks, and attention throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of opportunities for interaction and care. I currently live in a pet-friendly apartment community with a dog park located downstairs, and I also have reliable transportation to take dogs to nearby parks and walking areas if appropriate. A little about me: I studied Public Health during both my undergraduate and graduate education, earned my Master’s degree in Global Health from Harvard , and currently work in the health industry. That sound unrelated, but honestly it’s shaped how I approach responsibility: carefully, consistently, and always with the other person’s (or pup’s!) needs in mind. I know how much it means to find someone you can really trust with your dog. I’d love to meet you and your pup and go from there! I am available Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm, and on weekends from 10am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm. I'm happy to accommodate special needs outside of these hours to ensure your pet receives the best care possible! In my home, I can comfortably accommodate small dogs/medium size dogs ensuring they have a safe, clean, and loving environment. I provide plenty of playtime, regular walks, and constant supervision to make sure your pet feels secure and happy.
“Rachel is very communicative and great to work with, our dog loved walking with her! She was very nice and booked a meet and greet before hand to learn where things were and and to learn how reactivities. We look forward to working with her again!”

I cannot wait to meet your dog. Parks around my home and very safety zone in my neighborhood. We love pets and I can walk with him anytime and find a good places to walk around my neighborhood.
About: I have experience taking care of a variety of small and medium sized dogs, including my neighbor’s elderly dog who required consistent attention and administration of medication. I enjoy going on walks and will be sure to give any dog the attention and care they need! My schedule is very flexible. I work remotely most days so am able to look after the dog throughout the day and take it outside as needed. I prioritize your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine by understanding each pet’s needs and maintaining a calm and respectful presence. I am happy to follow any specific instructions in your home as well.
“Ray was great with Jimi! Jimi is leash reactive and not friendly with other dogs, plus he is very strong, so I’m always worried when someone else walks him. But I felt extremely confident with Ray walking him. He also spent extra time with Jimi and they played in the backyard after each walk. Additionally, I appreciated how communicative Ray was with me and all the pictures that he sent while I was away. I can’t recommend Ray enough!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life. Animals can sense that I am a friend and not a threat. I am patient, easy going, and dependable. I currently work full time but my schedule is extremely flexible. Whether you need me to assist in the morning, during the day or in the evening, I am available. I have two black male cats that live indoors. I feed the cats at around 5 am and around 5 pm. There water and litter boxes are changed daily. I give them attention every day and remind them that they are loved.

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, along with the level of care and attention I genuinely put into every dog I look after. I’ve worked closely with a young puppy, attending training sessions and learning how to reinforce positive behaviors and create an environment where a dog can thrive. I’m comfortable continuing training routines, maintaining structure, and helping puppies build good habits. On the other end of the spectrum, I also have experience caring for senior dogs who require extra patience and support—whether that’s assisting with mobility, following specific diets, or adapting to hearing and vision loss. I regularly dog sit for friends with very different needs, from high-energy dogs who need multiple long walks a day to older dogs who require a slower pace and more hands-on care. I’ve also cared for multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the individual attention they need. I pride myself on being adaptable and attentive, tailoring my care to each dog’s personality, routine, and comfort level. Beyond experience, what truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I treat every dog like family, not just a job. I’ve even gone out of my way on multiple occasions to help neighbors find their lost dogs and have successfully helped reunite them with their owners several times. I believe it’s our responsibility to create a safe, loving, and positive environment where dogs feel relaxed, happy, and encouraged—and that’s exactly the kind of care I provide every time. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to plan ahead one or two weeks in advance for working on site or at home. On days I go into the office, I can take pups on walks in the early morning or evening. I’m fully available for boarding on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I can also offer overnight boarding during the week. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
“Communicative and I really enjoyed seeing pictures of our pup during her stay! Stella I'm sure enjoyed all the play time and walks~ Thank you! Would love for her to stay again!”

“Kiara & her family took good care of my senior pup for the weekend. Her kids seemed to enjoy the four legged company! Kiara was good in responding/ messaging, sending photos, and keeping me apprised of how the stay was going.”

“Kristine was so good with my dog, who tends to growl and bark at new people and animals but seemed to take to Kristine and her dog right away. We did a test run overnight, and Maple loved it. Kristine provided regular updates on how she was doing. Maple was in such a good mood the next day when I picked her up. I was so grateful to find a place I knew my dog would be well cared for. Thanks, Kristine!”

“Leeun and her family were one of the best Rover experiences we have had. They are kind and very responsive, easy to communicate with and sent lots of updates on our dog. They were very attentive to his needs, probably giving him more attention and walks than we can at home . We would have them dog sit again in a heartbeat!”

“I sound like a broken record but what can I say? Allison is the best! My sister and I don’t feel safe leaving my dog with anyone but Allison. Stewie can be bit handful and needy but Allison and her merry band of dogs (Buster, Bochy and whoever else is in her care) keep him busy, care for him and make him happy. Thanks Allison. Til next time!”

“Jennifer took care of my dog like one of her one. She constantly gave me periodic updates and was flexible with the pick up time when my flight got delayed. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Surya was a fantastic sitter and I highly recommend him. My dog had a great time at his place and came back happy and spoiled. Surya did a great job dealing with my dog’s separation anxiety and helping him feel at home. He made the effort to get to know my dog and I could tell he actually spent lots of quality time with him. We got lots of photo updates. Thanks again and we will definitely be seeing you again soon!”
“This is our second time having Alex and Jessica taking care of Totle and we’re super happy about it. They are always very responsive, thorough and reliable, making sure they fulfill every need of Totle. More importantly, they do love, care and spend time with the dogs. We see Totle clearly loves being around them, and is satisfied, happy and calm with them. We’re so glad to find such a wonderful place for Totle while we’re away!”

“Thank you Na for your outstanding dog-sitting services for our lovable Roxie!!! We appreciated the daily photos/videos keeping us informed how our dog was doing. Roxie looks forward to coming back in the future!”

About: I’ve helped many friends and family take care of their dogs while they’re away. I have experience with both small and large dogs with different personalities, including puppies under 10 months old. My experience includes dog walking, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, and overnight care/boarding. I am patient, attentive, and responsible, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time and from home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your dog and provide frequent potty breaks and walks. My home is large and spacious, with an attached/fenced balcony so your dog can get some fresh air whenever they want to. There is also a grassy dog play area right downstairs so I can take your dog potty or play outside quite frequently.
“Chiara took great care of Peanut, my 16yo deaf semi-blind senior dog who requires several oral and eye medications. She also provided a daily update with photos and was very easy to coordinate with.”

“Angani and her family have an obvious love of animals and took such good care of our pup. We got multiple pictures and videos throughout his stay which helped us miss him a little less. We appreciate her care and love of our little guy. And we know he will want to visit again, if not for any other reason but to hang out with his new girlfriend, Khushi.”
