My wife has a flexible schedule and spends her free time at home caring for all our animals. When caring for pets—whether in my own home or a client’s home—I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment above all else. I ensure each pet is in a secure space free from hazards and always follow their specific routines for feeding, exercise, and medication. Building trust is essential, so I take time to connect with each animal, learning their personality and comfort level to help them feel relaxed and happy.
About: For as long as I can remember we had dogs and cats in our household. I've had my own German Shepherd and pitbull now for quite some time, and I can say that truly are apart of the family As of now I have plenty of time to dedicate to this duty. I am full time student but currently in between semesters, and my reserve military requirements only takes up a bit of my schedule. Maintain a proper safe fence structure. Also a steel framed kennel that is 8x24 feet so my two dogs have plenty of space to roam about. I also allow my dogs inside at night time for a nice slumber.
About: I have had a love and respect for all animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a small farm with chickens, goats, peacocks, ducks, one pig, and family dogs and cats. I remember waking up early before school to go feed all the animals with my grandma every morning(she lived with me and my parents). We’d take in every stray cat that wondered on our property. My grandma and i would catch the stray cats in a cage and take them to the vet. The baby goats would occasionally be rejected by their mothers which resulted in me and my grandma having to bottle feed the rejected baby. I truly had a blessed childhood to be surrounded by animals. Our first family dog was named Pepper and she is a Flat Coated Retriever. My baby passed over the rainbow bridge this past May and i was destroyed but she gave us the most amazing 16 years of her life being the most perfect angel well behaved dog. When i turned 14 i asked for a puppy and my parents said yes as long as i understood the puppy would be my responsibly since they both work and at this point in my time my grandma had passed 2 years prior. I said i understood and they got me an Alaskan Malamute puppy. I love him dearly but geese he was a stubborn trouble maker. I worked with him every day to potty train him and cate train him until we were comfortable with him free roaming the house. I also taught him tricks and how to walk by my side when we went on walks and hikes. He grew to the 120 pound gentle giant he his now. He lives in norcal with my parents while i’m here in socal for college. I currently do mainly remote social media marketing work. However i do have to go in person to my work randomly throughout the month but not super often. I live in a house with a fenced yard and six other female roommates. I love animals and believe attention and enrichment is very important when it comes to pet care and so I will do my very best to make sure your pet feels cared for and comfortable whether that’s in my home or yours or simply on a walk!

“Nina goes above and beyond. We boarded our Great Dane pup with her for two weeks over the holidays and couldn't be more pleased with her level of care and attention. She treated our Dolly like one of her own pups, carefully introducing her to her pack - even letting her co-habit with her own dogs (thank you her senior Dane Indica for being such an excellent mentor!) We felt so guilty leaving Dolly, especially right after her stomach surgery (spay & gastro). But Nina sent us multiple daily texts and video messages that really helped to ease our concerns. This was her first boarding experience, after all! The whole time we never doubted whether she was being well cared for and safe. Nina clearly loves what she does and is a complete dog whisperer. She's well worth the drive! We won't hesitate to leave Dolly with Nina and her amazing dog family in the future. This was an incredible experience for our dog at an age when she is still learning. It was hard to leave her but in the long run, this experience really helped to establish the confidence and trust you need when you have to travel or you simply cannot take your dog with. Any dog owner with a giant breed knows what a challenge it can be to not only find hands-on boarding (and cage-free), but to handle the separation anxiety for your dog and you! Overall, Nina offers a very clean, open concept (indoor/outdoor) space, tailored to the comfort of the dogs with large, fenced play areas. She provides blankets (even sweaters), soft places to chill, treats, healthy food toppings, kisses, walks, cuddles, a kind voice and gentle hand. Many large boarding facilities would charge you extra for these "add-ons", such as cuddles and walks. Thank you Nina, and Happy New Year!!!”

“Rachelle was amazing! When I arrived, she gave me a tour of the house, let me know how Chevy was going to be taken care of and right away made him feel welcome! Let him off leash to explore the yard and meet the dogs and he felt right at home. Rachelle kept Chevy for 3 days and I received tons of pictures of what he was doing, dog walks, activities with other dogs, and how well he was doing. I am so happy and would definitely book with her again! She will take great care of your dogs, send you updates and keep you informed of everything happening. Whether it’s just for the day or a few days I’d book with her. She had a few dogs that are her repeat visitors making my dog even more at ease!”
