About: I’ve owned a couple of cats and shih tzus. I have personal experience caring for them in addition to Beagles, German Shepherds, Shibas, and Pit Bulls. I am not certified in Veterinary health care but have worked in the medical field for humans with a focus on emergency medicine for two decades and have received cross-training on basic care for dogs from the military; as such, I can interpret unusual symptoms and behaviors to pass on to you, the owner, in case your loved one needs further care at a Veterinary clinic. I typically work part-time at a major hospital in the Bay Area- I have a fairly flexible schedule to accommodate those needing extra care for their furry friends! In my home, I have a fenced backyard if your pet likes to sunbathe. A number of parks are in close proximity to my home that I can either drive to or walk to with your pet to give them a chance to exercise, potty, and socialize with other pets (if that is what you wish). I have clean, filtered water at home to provide to your pet and can tailor to your pet’s specific nutritional needs as long as you provide them to me. I have one, small dog at home who belongs to my tenant and is well-behaved. If you would like me to drop by your living arrangement to care for your pet, I can transport myself easily and accommodate your pets needs as long as you detail what you would like done for your loved one(s). If they require more frequent walks, that’s perfectly fine!

About: I had a yellow Labrador for 13 years, starting when my kids were very young. I miss her everyday. Planning to get another dog soon and thought I'd try dog sitting for the meantime. I currently have a desert tortoise in our yard. She's very chill and will retreat in her shell or hang out in her little house when things get frisky in the yard. I am a distance runner and would happily take a dog on a beach run, off-leash or not, if that is agreed upon. I have a large yard to roam in. I work from home most of the time. I work from home most of the time with occasional site work during the week. Can do walks through out the day. I'm an early riser so any dog will get an early walk right away. Dog walks are a great way to get out and enjoy the day and/or hit the beach. I have a fenced yard and easy access. Dog friendly environment. Dogs can sleep where they are most comfortable, bedroom, sofa, dog bed or crate.

About: My boyfriend and I do rover sitting and boarding together, so you get two people caring for your pet for the price of one! If you choose to have your dog cared by us, we promise to treat them like our own. I understand that you can be apprehensive about having a member of your family cared for by a stranger, but I’m always next to my phone and respond to texts and calls quickly. I can also send pictures and videos of their time here. We like to keep our care intimate, meaning we will only have a maximum of 3 dogs at a time in our home. We want to make sure your furry friend gets as much attention as possible. I spend a majority of my time at home, meaning your dog will RARELY be left unsupervised. I also have experience with senior pets that require medicine administration, diaper changes, specific feeding instructions, and any other specialized care. My work schedule is flexible, so I work from home on days where I have bookings. My boyfriend wfh full time. Even though I’m working from home, I can block off time on my work calendar for walks, feeding, and play time. Don’t worry. Your doggo will be cared for! We do allow dogs on the furniture, but we also have multiple dog beds for them to lounge on. My house may not have a backyard, but we do have a small gated side yard and a gated front porch for your doggo to get some outside time besides walks.

During his stay, Cynthia went above and beyond to cater to all of Loki’s needs and kept him happy, active, and well cared for. I especially appreciated her family-centered approach to pet sitting—it made such a difference knowing Loki was treated like part of the family. “Betty was a fantastic dog sitter and we recommend her highly. We were a little nervous to leave our dog for a long two week stay given our dog has a bit of stranger danger and it was their first time staying with a sitter in the sitter’s home. Thus, we wanted a sitter who was familiar with dog body language and had a lot of experience. Betty fit those criteria perfectly, was extremely communicative, and sent us frequent updates with pictures everyday. Our dog also really seemed to enjoy Betty’s dog Jacques’s company and they had a fun time playing together daily as well.”
“Thank you SO much Sheena for watching our Mochi girl! We felt so guilty having to leave Mochi overnight for a few days ... my son especially! However, Sheena assured us that Mochi was doing well with just enough communication, fun photos and videos that sure put a smile on our faces ... my son especially! ? I appreciated the request for the "meet and greet" prior to booking, allowing both parties to ask questions and for Mochi to meet Sheena's pup Tasha. Since we were at my sons' baseball tournament, we did not know the exact time of our return and Sheena's flexibility was also greatly appreciated as she did not stress us to be back on the hour. Sheena's rate is reasonable and works within our budget! Mochi is happy and content, and we would absolutely use Sheena's services again if she will have Mochi again! Thank you Sheena also for the cute little pocket photos of Mochi. Very nice touch!”
