About: I owned two cats — a girl and a boy, although very briefly when I was 13 and it lasted a year. I loved how regal they were, and how trusting, kind, soft they were once you got to know them. At first, they were really timid beings that would run from everyone in my family, with the one and only exception being when they heard their metal food bowls clank down full. It took them about two weeks of analyzing our schedules to slowly open themselves up to us and allow us to be around them, pet them, show them love. I would give them small sniff tests here and there to test their readiness level, and they became acclimated to me quicker than anyone else for that reason. Our family had to give them back after one year because the family who gave them to us moved back here from out of state and wanted to have their cats back. Aside from owning cats, I started being around cats from when I was 10 until I turned 15 because I had friends that owned cats — an older cat (21 years old) and a kitten (8 months when I first met her). I would take care of those two cats whenever I would sleep over at their place, feed them and give them water periodically. I love being around cats!

About: In total I’ve had 5 dogs in my lifetime, dating far back to when I was a baby! Dogs of many sizes and kinds of dogs from small to big, a labrador rottweiler mix, bichon frise and the rest being rat terriers. So from about the time I was born until I was 13 (I am now 20), I owned 5 dogs :). I loved being able to walk my dogs, taking them to parks, just being in their company really. I look after my friends’ dogs on occasion as well as my relative’s when they’re busy and decided that I would love to make it into a career. I don’t have a job, and I’m a student at Southwestern, I was full time last semester but the semester ended just last week. I will be fully free for the next two weeks with the exception of Friday’s from 6pm-11pm (can be negotiated if need be!). I’m open every week day and every day of weekend, willing to work anywhere from 8am until about 5pm. I will be taking one class in the summer, ballet (dance), that begins June 15th, ends August 8th and runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:25am to 11:25 AM for all three days. I would not be allowed to host any pet in my house as we have two babies in the house and we’re not fully aware of their allergies yet, however, it would be best for me to do drop ins or house sitting sessions for that reason. I think doing a meet and greet beforehand would be amazing so that we could have a chance to meet each other first and maybe introduce me to your pet to see if I could be a good match to sit for them instead of blindly throwing me with them!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and small animals like bunnies and guinea pigs. 🐶🐱🦎My family and I have raised multiple puppies and cared for seniors, so I understand the patience, consistency, and attention they need. I currently have a puppy of my own, so I’m actively working on potty training and basic obedience. I’ve provided pet care for friends and family including dog walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality/play time with pets. I treat every animal like my own and would be happy to send updates/photos so you always know how your pet is doing. 💗 I’m a military spouse who moved to San Diego about a year ago. Since I’m not working another job, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m unavailable most Thursdays and Fridays however, I’m open and able to accommodate care and scheduling needs. I provide care in your home and make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. I give them plenty of attention and keep their environment clean and safe.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the way I treat every pet like family while tailoring care to their unique needs. I have hands-on experience with both energetic puppies who need consistent training and gentle guidance, as well as senior pets who may require extra patience, medication reminders, and comfort. I focus on creating a safe, calm environment where pets feel loved and secure, even when their owners are away. Whether it’s reinforcing good habits, providing lots of play and exercise, or offering slow walks and cuddles for older pets, I adapt to what each furry friend needs. My goal is to make sure they’re not only cared for, but genuinely happy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I am home full-time with no other job commitments. This allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day In my home, pets enjoy a clean, bug-free space with a fenced backyard for safe play and exercise. “We’ve now completed two trial daycare days and two trial boarding stays with Mark, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mello has separation anxiety, so we wanted to make sure she truly felt safe and comfortable before her official boarding. Mark has been incredibly patient, thoughtful, and genuinely caring every step of the way. He really goes above and beyond — he even brings Mello along with him when he’s out running quick errands like picking up pizza or McDonald’s, just so she can feel included and never alone. It’s clear he’s not just watching dogs — he’s trying to be their best friend. The biggest and most wonderful surprise: we had arranged trazodone for Mello to help with her anxiety and sleep, but she’s become so comfortable and happy there that she no longer needs it to rest well at night.
