About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

There is a large fenced area for off leash play time. Blondie was taken on long walks and was bedded down in a stall in a former stable. She had a cozy bed and a heater. When we picked her up she looked happy and comfortable. We are very satisfied with Samantha’s kind care of Blondie.”

Hailey not only accommodated my last minute plans so I could still go on my trip, I completely messed up the booking and she had no clue problems accommodating this as well. About: I’ve had at least 3 dogs in my house for about 10 years. Currently my husband and I live close to downtown Grass Valley, Ca. I have 4 bedrooms and a medium to large fenced backyard. We currently have 2 females medium to large dogs in the house. Both dog friendly but I can make adjustments if needed. I can host 1 dog at a time at my house or as many pets as you have at your house. I’ve got a flexible schedule so with at least a day notice I can make it work! Hit me up if you need anything. I can stop by, walk, house sit or board. I have a flexible schedule currently but will need a day notice at least. I have other clients and a day job that allows me to be available but will need to bring a lab-top just in case. I have a fenced yard, it’s a little bit short though please see additional photos. If you’re dog is a jumper or climber we should talk about that.

“Louisa was absolutely wonderful! On our trip up to Ashland, we were hit with wildfires in the neighboring area and the air quality was horrible. Our original arrangements for our dog fell through and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my dog alone in a kennel outdoors for a couple of hours at our air bnb, but thankfully there was Louisa. My dog can be a bit anxious around other dogs she doesn't know. She growled a bit at Louisa's puppy when we arrived for our meet and greet and I was worried that behavior may continue. Louisa was very reassuring and kept us posted on our dogs behavior and well being. She sent photos through out the day and I was so happy to have someone so trusting & responsive take care of our dog while we were out of town. Thank you so much Louisa!”

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. I vacuum twice a week or more with having a cat, and a rug that he loves to play on. I clean Phoenix's water and food bowls twice a week or more so as to not have any build-up or potential for mold/fungus/bugs. Cleaning his litter box every couple of days is a necessity for me as well as disinfecting the box every other week or more, depending on the week :).
