About: I have had a love and respect for all animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a small farm with chickens, goats, peacocks, ducks, one pig, and family dogs and cats. I remember waking up early before school to go feed all the animals with my grandma every morning(she lived with me and my parents). We’d take in every stray cat that wondered on our property. About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. My childhood dog escaped once as kid, and even thought he was quickly found, it made me realize the horror of potentially losing a pet. As a result, I take pet safety very seriously. When i turned 14 i asked for a puppy and my parents said yes as long as i understood the puppy would be my responsibly since they both work and at this point in my time my grandma had passed 2 years prior. I said i understood and they got me an Alaskan Malamute puppy. I love him dearly but geese he was a stubborn trouble maker. I worked with him every day to potty train him and cate train him until we were comfortable with him free roaming the house. I also taught him tricks and how to walk by my side when we went on walks and hikes. He grew to the 120 pound gentle giant he his now. He lives in norcal with my parents while i’m here in socal for college. I currently do mainly remote social media marketing work. However i do have to go in person to my work randomly throughout the month but not super often. I live in a house with a fenced yard and six other female roommates. Growing up we had two black labs (big big dogs) and I would do everything with them and just took a lot of pride In making sure they were always taken care of emotionally and physically. Since getting older I have loved taking on rolls of helping family friends with watching or walking their dogs and giving them the same treatment I would give to my own. I currently just moved to the Temecula area so at the moment I do not have a job so I am totally free and open to take on the roll of caring for multiple dogs ! I understand that all dogs are different and some just need a little more one on one play time so that would never be an issue (would never be in a rush)! I also love going on long walks as it’s a form of exercise for me so your dog will never get a bare minimum walk being in my hands:) I treat any dog like it’s my own and I understand what it’s like to leave your dog with a stranger and be so scared of the what if’s so I take a lot of pride in communicating with the owner and sending pics to let them know their baby is in good hands, having fun, and being cared for as they wished! I also encourage cameras inside clients homes because I know that you can never get enough extra reassurance and it’s always good to make sure your animal is genuinely being taken care of as the care taker says! So if you have cameras in your home I will never have an issue ! I love to make sure both me and client are comfortable for their pets best interest!
About: I don't just love dogs; I know how to take care of them responsibly. As much as working with animals is enjoyable and fun for me, I am aware of the responsibility and skill level required to maintain a safe and healthy environment for your dog (or cat). I also know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members behind with a new person, so I'd love to reassure you with daily texts and photos of how our visit is going. I'm a former animal care professional with experience as a vet tech, pet store assistant manager, and groomer, and truly have an interest in the health and well being of your pet. I'm the type of person that double checks and will pay attention to the small details in your pet's behavior and appearance. And of course, I absolutely love dogs. My favorite thing about them is their ability to break up the seriousness of a moment by being absolutely silly! I've had the chance to meet dogs of all types and temperaments, and am comfortable walking energetic, leash aggressive, or nervous dogs. I understand how important exercise and quality time are in making your pup happy. My resume and references are always available upon request. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to be at home with your fur baby. My hours are flexible and we can work on setting up a schedule specific to your pets’ needs. I mainly care for pets in your home, using guidelines you provide me with. I’m open to boarding requests but do not currently offer this service on short notice.
