About: Since I was a child, I've always held a special affinity for animals. I was involved in multiple dog adoption groups and volunteered for a no-kill shelter during the majority of my time in high school. Due to having a senior mother with a sweet but hyper dog, I took on dog training and learned to professionally groom our little Shih Tzu Maltese. Animals akin to humans require just as much commitment, love, and patience to care for, and I am fully devoted to taking on that task. I'm currently working part-time at Fresno State University but am available on the weekends! Whatever works best for you. I'm flexible and can make adjustments to my schedule if need be. In a client's home, I'd first make sure that the pet is comfortable with my presence before anything else. I also like to establish if the pet has any strict routines that need to be adhered to and if they have any allergy or non-allergy restrictions. Due to cooler temperatures in the morning, I typically walk pets once during that time, and again during the evening.
About: I have experience with many different types of animals. I have cats, dogs, a snake, a lizard, snails, and fish. I also lived on a farm and have experience with farm animals. I am good at training dogs and have experience with animal's medication management. My dog has an anxiety disorder, and one of my cats had an intense medical scare which required medication three times a day. Work to provide the best for all my animals, and I'll work to provide the best for yours as well. I currently work part-time during the days. There is never a time where my house is unsupervised for more than a few hours at a time to go out and eat or run errands. With my dogs, I typically crate them when I leave to prevent them from causing problems like digging in the trash, but that is up to your discretion for your animal. I live in a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs frequently run around in. I have a small inflatable pool for the animals to play in during the heat. I will take care to attend to each animal's individualized needs, so if your dogs needs to be crated at certain times or has specific triggers please let me know.

I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’m comfortable with big dogs, strong pullers, and dogs who need real exercise, but I’m just as happy with a Chihuahua curled up on the couch. I spent 8 years as a nanny, so looking after something that depends on you completely isn’t new to me — it’s second nature. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I don’t board dogs in my own home, since I have a resident cat (a very opinionated tabby mix), but I’m experienced with cats too, including Maine Coons and other long-haired breeds, if you need a sitter for feline friends as well. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. While I’m at work, my wife and daughter are home and will be there to care for them. Your pets will always have someone at home with them, so they won’t be left alone. You can have peace of mind knowing your pets will receive care, attention, and companionship around the clock. I have a good-sized, secure backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time, as well as a public walking path right behind my house for those who enjoy stretching their legs and getting some exercise. I love taking dogs for walks—it’s a great way for them to get fresh air, exercise, and enrichment while keeping them happy and comfortable. I always make sure pets are supervised, cared for, and treated like part of the family while they’re in my home.

She’s experienced with dogs that may be apprehensive to strangers and take time to warm up to new people. She was excellent in communicating with me in advance of the booking, making it easy to prepare and coordinate the drop off and pick up, as well as items I needed to bring for drop off. Annie cared for them like her own. She took them on walks daily and regularly shared updates, pictures, and videos during their stay. Annie exceeded our expectations- she’s trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, personable, professional, and is excellent with fur babies and families.
