“This was my second time leaving my little chihuahua, Molly, with Hana, and while our first day care experience was wonderful, this stay truly showed me the depth of Hana’s care and her genuine passion for dogs. I honestly can’t imagine ever leaving Molly with anyone else. Molly is a rescue and had only been with me for about two and a half months, so I was nervous about leaving her for a multi-night stay (especially since I’m the overly attached type of dog parent!). She’s tiny (only 6.5 lbs) and I tend to worry a lot about her comfort and safety. But Hana treated her as her own from the very beginning. Throughout the stay, Hana sent me tons of photos and videos, but what really stood out were her thoughtful updates...little details about Molly’s likes and dislikes, how she was eating, how she was interacting, and what made her happiest. It was clear that she wasn’t just “watching” her; she was truly getting to know and understand her. Hana and her husband, David, went above and beyond in ways I never expected; cleaning her clothes, trying to help with her teeth, even offering to stitch up a toy she had chewed apart. They were so kind that they even brought Molly by my home for a quick mid-stay visit while I was recovering from knee surgery, which meant the world to me. Video after video, I watched Molly become more relaxed and content, snuggling on the couch with Hana and David, clearly feeling loved and safe. By the end of her stay, it really felt like she had found her “second home.” I’m beyond grateful for Hana and David’s compassion, dedication, and warmth. Knowing Molly is so well cared for gives me incredible peace of mind. I truly can’t recommend them enough!”

About: Growing up with hamsters (RIP Squiggy 1-12) and wishing for larger more sociable pets, I was thrilled when my first kitty arrived in my life at 18! About: I've owned pets my whole life and spent my childhood living on a ranch with just about every farm animal you can name. Now, as an adult living a more suburban lifestyle, I'm happy to provide loving care for your dog and/or cat in a home-based, high attention environment. As a dog mom myself, I know how difficult it is to trust a stranger with your fur child and the importance of continuing the love and care your pet receives at home. I'm available for boarding on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. My husband and I work mostly remote, so your fur baby will receive plenty of attention and companionship from both ourselves and our mini dachshund, Charlie! We have a small fenced-in backyard with concrete and turf for potty breaks. Overnight fur guests will have both indoor and outdoor access and can be crated in the downstairs living room during nighttime sleep hours. Blankets, toys, and preferred treats are welcome to help provide your pet with a sense of home.
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover and outdoor enthusiast, so I can't think of a better way to spend my time than going on walks with furry friends. I've had the honor to share 18 years of my life with three of the goodest boys and girls: Sammy (RIP my beautiful boy!) Tootsie, and Indi. Each of them has added so much richness to my life, and have taught me patience, discipline, and unconditional love. I've fostered dogs from the Front Street Animal Shelter, caring for them like my own while making sure they went to good homes. I once did one month of house/pet sitting for a couple who had 7 dogs (2 big labs and 5 small ones), 3 of which needed medicine twice/day, so I'm not easily intimidated -- although at this stage in my life I think I'll stick to only 1 or 2 dogs at a time. Although I love dogs of all sizes, I'm most comfortable with small to medium-sized, up to 50 lbs. I'm willing to make exceptions for senior or super chill dogs who want to take it easy and don't pull on their leash while walking. I want it to be nice for both of us! I'm home most days, so I'm pretty flexible with timing of walks and drop-ins. What's best for your dog is what's good for me. I take evening classes Tuesday through Thursday, so I have to finish my last walk by 6pm on those days. If staying with me, I do have to make sure our dogs get along first. I have a kennel if needed, but would prefer for them all to hang out together. If I do need to go out, I'm happy to separate yours and mine if that would make you and them most comfortable. I have a fenced yard and Tootsie and Indi to keep your dog company. Tootsie is a 9lb Miniature Pincher/Italian Greyhound mix, and Indi is a 48 lb Border Collie mix, but don't let her fool you: Indi moves slower than molasses and loves nothing more than lay on her bed all day. Both of my ladies are extremely easy-going. If not staying with me, I'm happy to come to your home for visits whenever a your pooch requires it, whether they need walking, a little ball-tossing, or a good cuddle.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of types of dogs and cats. I have experience giving medicine to both dogs and cats ( I have experience with the cat burrito maneuver). I am patient with animals and do my best to meet them at their level. I am an owner of a high energy dog and she has taught me so much about talking care of pets. During the week, I have availability for lunchtime walks and evening hang. On the weekends, my schedule is much more open and I can be available whenever you need me. When taking a dog into a backyard I always make sure they are supervised. My pup is a jumper and can easily jump a fence. So I know what to look out for. When in a new spaces I always walk the fence line to check for any holes or loose boards. With indoor cats, I enter and exits the house carefully so nobody escapes. I understand cats can be shy, so i usually pick a spot and hang out quietly there and wait for the cat to come to me.

I can take care of dogs of any breed, cats, horses, goats etc. I do work full time, but my partner works from home and they are able to provide care when i am at work. For your furry friends, I’m comfortable walking them along new or familiar routes and have experience with reactive dogs if they need a little extra attention to the surroundings! I also have experience setting mental stimulation games!

They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. About: Hello! My name is Violet and I’m 19. I’ve taken care of many dogs with varying ages and sizes since I was 15. I’m a volunteer/foster home at Front Street Animal Shelter and have fostered multiple dogs and puppies.
