I grew up in the country surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. About: Growing up with hamsters (RIP Squiggy 1-12) and wishing for larger more sociable pets, I was thrilled when my first kitty arrived in my life at 18! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! About: My name is Ross, I am a huge animal lover. I grew up with 3 small dogs ( 2 Puddles and Pekinges ) I also have a huge experience with big dogs ( Saint Bernard, Newfoundland, Doberman,) medium size dogs ( Pit bull) I lived with two Jack Russles. I enjoy being outdoors and being active so walking the dogs is the perfect opportunity for me to enjoy it all at once walking outdoors with my favorite animals😍 For the last three years, pet care has been my full time job. I have a number of long term clients that I see on a regular basis that keep me busy constantly. Pet care fits into my routine it IS my routine! I always squat when I am just meeting the dog so I can be on their eye level that way the puppy doesn’t feel any threat, let the dog smell my hand first before I start petting him/her or try to put a leash on. Maybe bring some treats with me, make sure the dogs leash is always on before I open the door, make sure the collar clicked and not very tight, bring an extra bottle of water for the puppy and me.

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life, and volunteered at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter for a year after college. I've fostered kittens and a senior cat with medical issues, and cared for many older pets over my life. I once house sit for a family with rabbits so I have a little bit of familiarity with them. I have house sit for friends with a standard poodle and a mini doodle, including giving the standard poodle his daily medication and taking them both for twice daily trips to the park. I have also checked in on my parents' two dogs and 5+ cats to feed them, let them out for potty breaks, play with them, and give them medication. My sweet orange tabby got cancer a few years ago and I fed him three times a day through a feeding tube and administered his medication as well. I work some evenings, so I am free most of the day to care for your furry friends. I take care of my own senior kitty in the mornings, after my evening shifts, and during any free days. I have pet sat for friends and family before, including giving medication and two daily walks. I will follow all instructions to the letter and ensure your pet feels right at home.
About: I grew-up and around animals of all kind my entire life, though mostly owned cats. However, in 2012, my husband and I adopted a pug and there began my journey and infatuation with pugs and pups of all kinds. We've always been the go-to for friends and family who needed sitters for their dogs of all breeds and ages. I've also worked with blind and visually impaired folks in a non profit setting for 5 years and have experience watching the dog guides/service dogs of friends for extended periods of time while they were "off duty" and have spent lots of time around them while they were on-duty, as well. I originally signed-up for Rover soon after our pug passed away because we weren't ready to adopt another fur-child and had so much love to give other pups out there. But, we ended up rescuing another pug about a year ago, so I went on a break from Rover to focus on our new girl, Hot Stuff. However, I decided to activate my account again as I'm in a bit of a career transition and am intentionally seeking activities, experiences that align with my values and passions, which includes caring for animals, and would love to spend as much time with fur babies as possible. They make the BEST company. Ultimately, I'm obsessed with all animals, and especially dogs. I think the world would be a much more harmonious place if everyone had a fur-baby in the family:) I currently don't have a personal pet to care for, or children at home and work remotely Monday-Friday, so can be somewhat flexible with my daily and weekly routine. All I can say, before out pup passed away, he was the center of our universe and our schedules/routines were based on him and his needs - his morning and evening spa treatments, making his food from scratch daily, taking him for multiple walks, cuddling and petting him throughout the day, inviting him to be on-camera during my work meetings. Because he was old, he also got regular walks in his special "puggy buggy" and we very rarely ever left him alone for more than an hour at a time.
