I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. “Manuel is very caring. He also asks thoughtful questions that prepare him to give individualized attention to one's dog. His own dog is a charming fellow who was a good companion for our dog. He was flexible through some tricky booking issues - so he's good with humans, too! Next time we need to board our dog in his area, we really, really hope he will be available. Our nervous old girl was able to relax and have a good time while she was there, and that means a lot to us.”

He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. I would absolutely trust her with Atlas again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and compassionate dog sitter.”
About: Hello! My name is Violet and I’m 19. I’ve taken care of many dogs with varying ages and sizes since I was 15. I’m a volunteer/foster home at Front Street Animal Shelter and have fostered multiple dogs and puppies. This experience has deepened my understanding of animals as well as how to properly care for them. Along with this I assist friends and family pets frequently whenever they need me. I currently own a dog I adopted from the shelter 8 years ago, he is a mixed pup around 20lb and is good with other dogs. Currently I’m open full time for your pet, and I take any size pets. I am currently free most of summer, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I’m available for boarding all week, as well as drop in visits. I have a fenced yard with one very friendly dog to keep your pup company. I’ll supervise to ensure the safety of all pets. If provided I’m able to easily crate your dog.
