Boarding/DayCare: Your dog has to be good around cats as I have 2. If you're not sure if they are, we can do a test run with them to see. The cats are good with dogs, and are used to having canine friends around - they usually stick to themselves at first until they feel comfortable with a new friend. About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.

“I have a two year old, large, german shepherd and he can be a lot to handle for anyone. Jillian's house is the only place I have full confidence in. My dog, Roman, loves going there. As soon as I put him in the car in the am and start driving down my normal route to her house he full on cries as loud as he can until he arrives. I do not even have to walk him to the door anymore, I open up the back door and he runs as fast as he can straight to her front door. Her house is extremely well kept, and certainly dog friendly. Jillian has a hand (and heart) of gold. Roman requires lots of outside playtime, Jillian has a huge fenced in backyard where he loves to run around with his friends. She also takes him to the park daily to run around and get even more exercise. Jillian's house is truly a 5 start doggie hotel. With my crazy work schedule, Jillian is always flexible and accommodating. I do not think I could get through every week without having her by my side to take care of Roman and his needs. I will forever continue to use Jillian's daycare as long as she will have us..... Which I know would never be a problem because Jillian loves Roman just as much as I do..... (and that is a WHOLE LOT! :-)”
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

About: I've taken care of my dogs, friends' dogs, and house-sat for dog owners. I’m experienced with dogs of all energy levels and temperaments. I currently work Sunday through Wednesday, and I’m fully available Thursday through Saturday. On those days, I can give your pet my full attention and focus on their care, routine, and needs. On Sunday through Wednesday, I am available before 8 am and after 8 pm. I provide dog sitting and dog walking with a strong focus on safety, trust, and maintaining each dog’s normal routine. I am comfortable with small dogs and large dogs who need a lot of exercise.
About: I am a licensed RVT and CPR certified. I have been in the field about 10 years. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets and even some livestock. I am a full time employee for UC Davis. I get off work around 6 and have Thursday-Saturday off with flexible pet sitting availability on Sunday I would ensure I wear clean clothes over every time to limit any unwanted illness. With my job specifically I don't deal with sick animals so that won't be an issue. I am also used to placing animal in crates and potty walks.
About: I have always had a passion for animals, and I even have a few pets of my own! I have 5 cats between my sister and I, and they have the biggest variety of personalities. I took a break from pet care due to moving and job changes throughout the years but I’ve always loved caring for people’s pet babies. I used to work as a Dog Camp Counselor back in my hometown, and that was one of the most rewarding experiences to date. Family, friends, and friends of friends always come to me when they’re in need to pet sitting or caring, and rest assured the care of your loved one is always in the forefront of my mind.
