We got daily pictures and videos of Colby Jaxx which were so awesome to see him interacting with her and the "friends" Colby Jaxx got to meet and play with. Along with the pics and videos, Naiomie would tell specifics about Colby... for example, he would cry a little at bedtime when he couldn't physically see her and she would let me know the different things she was doing to try to help him settle. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.

About: Growing up with hamsters (RIP Squiggy 1-12) and wishing for larger more sociable pets, I was thrilled when my first kitty arrived in my life at 18! About: Force free trainer who believes you don’t need to hurt dogs to train them. I specialize in timid and fearful dogs. I am very experienced with dog to dog introduction and supervised play. Every boarding and day care includes basic obedience training, impulse control and supervised socializing sessions with other friendly dogs. I only use aversive force-free training and would not use any methods or gear that hurts dogs. Please specify what needs you and your dogs have so we can decide together what training I would focus on during boarding. I can teach your dog and show you how to practice sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, recall, loose leash walking. I can work on play and socializing skill with dogs that do not have history of injurious dog bites. I cannot currently host or housesit dog reactive dogs but can offer a walk and train sessions. Our male dog Lo loves playing with dogs, and is very gentle with timid and young dogs. I have a very large fully fenced yard perfect for exercise and play sessions. I’m working from home and can provide hourly potty breaks. The dogs will be inside at all times besides walks, or backyard potty breaks. Dogs that do not experience separation anxiety and are potty trained are not kenneled unless requested. I never kennel the dogs outside. At night the dogs sleep in my room on dog beds or in kennels if requested. My house seen over 100 foster dogs, and hundreds of Rover dogs, and is very safe and dog proof. I do not have toxic medications, plants or household chemicals accessible to dogs in my house. I love hiking and would take your dog hiking or running on the weekend

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. About: Hello there! I am new to Rover and the Sacramento area, but I am not new to owning and caring for pets. I’ve had dogs and cats more than half my life. Out of the 3 pups I have had in the last 16 years , 2 of them are special needs and doing fabulously because of the attention and care they receive. I currently work part time as a caregiver for a woman who has Alzheimer’s and my two pups come with me for companion care. She adores them and so do I! Let me love your pets the same I do mine and give you some relief knowing they are being taken care of by someone who will love them and take care of them exactly as you would like them to be. I currently work part time but I am free most days and every weekend to help out! I don’t require a ton of notice , but Mon,Wed and Thursday I won’t be available 9am-130pm I cannot care for dogs in my own home. My 5 yo golden is reactive with other dogs unfortunately. But I am more than happy to provide care in your home.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats all my life. All my dogs have been trained well and are very active. I walk my dog daily and love being outdoors. I have been dog sitting and dog walking for a few years for in app clients but I’ve been doing it my whole life. Our family has a golden retriever and a cat. The cat is indoor only and doesn’t prefer to interact with dogs usually. I work full time as a teacher but my wife (also on this app) works from home 3 days a week. I am off on summer break and have other breaks throughout the year. My dogs walks usually happen early in the morning or after dinner time. We play with and brush our dog and cat. We have a toddler who loves animals. We have a small backyard with grassy area. We have a nice neighborhood and walk dogs throughout. We live across the street from a huge park that the dog and child love to visit.

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Leaving Atlas for a full week was a huge step for me. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay.
