About: I absolutely love cats and have had two of my own. My first, Stormy, was a mid-age rescue cat who lived for about 7 years with me before she passed. Stormy had renal disease so I am familiar with all of the treatments and IV’s necessary if your cat is in need of any type of extra loving! I currently have an (almost) two year old, Poppy, and boy are kittens something else! I would love to care for cat(s) whenever you need!

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. About: I love animals which includes pets! I come from a home that has two of the sweetest pitbulls. Moving out I of course got a cat, and she does well with dogs! I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. About: Hi there! I am a recent law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. In addition to growing up with dogs, I also have experience dealing with reactive dogs. For a time I had a rescue dog, Judge, who struggled with aggression, leash reactivity, and general fear/anxiety. About: I absolutely adore dogs and their personalities. I had an older pup of my own, who has been with me all over California. Unfortunately my beautiful girl has passed. Now I have a 1 year old rambunctious little aussiedoodle named Thorin and all he wants do is play. He absolutely loves making new friends. I am always the first one to be called by any friend in need to watch their pets. I’m confident that Thorin and I can give your pet a safe space for them to have fun and you to relax and not worry. I currently work 2 miles from my place of residence. Your dog will usually just go with me to work every day, we have a bed/area set up (pet friendly environment) or if preferred the dog to stay home. My man comes with me, so we do the same for yours. Also, they would be walked first thing in the morning, on my lunch, after work and then again before bed. I have a crate if thats needed for your dog/your dog likes to have his/her own safe space. My house is free to roam for the animals. I have a big backyard they can play in.

I live in downtown Sacramento just a short walk from a park, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, fresh air, and playtime. I always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions. I understand that every pet is unique, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while your furry family member is in my care.
About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years, but my real training started with my own dog Haku. He has taught me patience, routine, and how to understand different dog personalities. I am used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. Haku is friendly with children, other dogs, and cats, so I understand the importance of proper introductions and calm environments. Every dog has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I work from home, so I get to spend most of my day around dogs. I’m available for boarding on weekends and flexible during weekdays. Your pup will have company, regular walks, and a steady routine instead of being left alone all day. Dogs can sense calm energy, and I bring that into my home. I keep things structured but relaxed. I respect each dog’s personality and never force interactions. Haku runs quality control and makes sure every guest feels welcome.
