He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. About: I have always been a dog lover, and I am now the mother of two dog-loving children. Your dog will not be short on love, affection, and play in our home! I am available full-time four days out of the week. I am available to go on walks/hikes with your dog during the week and/or weekends. I would be available for overnight stays during the weekends. I have a fenced yard, and I can easily crate your dog if needed. Your dog would be welcome to come inside our home. Your dog would not be left unaccompanied or unsupervised in our home. For dogs with good social skills, I would also be able to take them to a dog park nearby. I’m currently self-employed and often work from home. I am available everyday, except Wednesdays, to dog-sit. I regularly take my dog on walks in the morning and evening with a couple of potty-breaks throughout the day. Cinder would love some company on her walks! We have a fenced yard they can go outside. “Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”
