“We had a phenomenal experience using Roy as our pet sitter for Sadie. She is a special-needs dog who doesn’t do well around other dogs, has very high energy, and requires careful handling. Because of that, we take the decision of who cares for her very seriously. Roy exceeded our expectations. He was attentive, punctual, prepared, and extremely confident working with a high-energy dog. He was already familiar with the neighborhood and aware of the other dogs in the area, which gave us additional peace of mind. “My pup had a ton of fun with April and her family! April was very responsive and provided a ton of awesome photos and videos of playtime, relaxation, and training. She and her family provided a very warm and welcoming experience for my dog that seemed full of enrichment. She seems to have a good handle on dogs of all sizes, is considerate about dog-specific needs/requests, and creates an environment where neither she nor any other dogs would get overstimulated, ensuring each dog can get the proper love and attention it deserves. “Our dogs had an amazing stay with this daughter and mom duo. They gave us daily updates and we can tell they loved our dogs like their own. They had a nice yard and space for the dogs to go out and play in! Even with the yard space they still took them on walks and played ball with them. “I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Leaving Atlas for a full week was a huge step for me. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. “Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”

My dog is large and energetic and she seemed to have no issues walking him. She also has a nice fenced-in yard for dogs to play in. I would have her watch my dog again anytime.”
