He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

About: I had dogs for my entire childhood and as an adult, I regularly volunteer at our local shelter to take shelter dogs out for the day to help socialize them, give them love, and to just give them a change of scenery. I would be honored to care for your fur baby! I currently work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so I have very flexible availability those days so I can fit your pup’s needs. I work Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am fully available afterwards. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run around if needed. I am happy to board, so long as your pet is comfortable staying in the yard. We have rabbits in the home, so unfortunately we cannot have dogs indoors.

She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch.
