But with Lorrie's calming effect and the dogs' friendly attitude he learned that not all big dogs are scary. She credits that with the fact that they are foster dogs and have seen many boarders come and go. About: I’ve owned dogs most all of my life . I’m 44 and currently have a 4 yr old ShihTzu. She is the love of my life . I am patient , attentive, caring, sweet, kind, and loving. Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .

About: I have had a dog since I was born. I started caring for my dog by the age of five. Then, I did overnights with a diabetic dog, with whom I had to administer medicine. Now, I have two dogs of my own who are very special. I currently work from home, so pet care fits in seamlessly with my routine. I also have a fenced-in yard, so potty breaks can be taken frequently. We are able to take as much time as your dog needs to socialize and get their wiggles out. We usually have a long activity in the morning, then we come home for some breakfast and a nap. Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required. I have no issue with special needs pups as my mini required a lot of special specific care through puppy stage and still in day to day life. I’m comfortable with doggie diapers, crates, litter boxes/robots, leash aggression, playpens, securing halters, multiple dogs on walks, “accidents” etc You will relax and feel comfortable while you’re away knowing I will make sure your baby is safe and well taken care of whether it’s within my house or I am visiting yours. I communicate very thoroughly and seek answers and information when needed. I am able to make good judgment calls as well as capable & equipped to figure out the unexpected. :) I live in a “tiny home” on property - I have doggie steps to get on the couch / bed - my pups have an outdoor deck to hang out and play on as well as an outdoor fully doggie fenced in play area to run and tons of toys and doggie beds. Extremely dog friendly home. I currently work from home with my 3 shih tzu pups, so I will have the flexibility to make sure your pup is a priority and the availability to communicate throughly when needed. Flexible for changes. About: I have pet sit and house sat since I was 12 years old. I have worked with family members, family friends, as well as people through Facebook to take care of their homes and pets while they were away. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even reptiles of different sizes and ages, and I myself have 3 dogs and a cat, a couple of which need to take daily medication due to old age. I am familiar with working with puppies, kittens, and elderly animals. I currently work a part time job near my home in Redding, so I am readily available to go to where I am needed to check on your home and pets. Since my job is very lax with scheduling, I do have same-day scheduling in case you need to leave short-notice, and I am also available to spend the night if that is what your home requires. I am very familiar working with animals of different sizes and temperaments, and have trained my 3 dogs myself since they were puppies. I can lift up to 100lbs so no need to worry about size! I also understand that every animal has different needs, and having worked with my own animals as well as other peoples’ I am able to keep track and be organized about the daily needs of several animals at the same time.

About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. I can watch any day of the week, Monday - Friday I can’t stay all day. I have no problem with being at the house for majority of the day. I live on a 5 acre land with plenty of space for pets to roam. There is also BLM land right behind the house with a trail by the creek to walk. Along with a spacious home. When house sitting I stay with the pets according to rules and instructions set by the owner.
