About: I've been caring for animals my entire adult life and after changing careers I decided to pursue something that makes me enjoy my work. I spent several years volunteering for a local shelter dealing with situations that included large and small breed dogs. Recently (the last 4 years) I've opened my home mostly to short term fosters that need a temporary place before finding forever families. About: Animal care has always been a huge part of my life and my strongest passion. I grew up on a ranch so My life has always been about animal care. For many years now I’ve worked as a volunteer for many local rescues as well as independently fostered many animals as well. I’m experienced with elderly animals as well as special needs and puppies too! There isn’t much I cannot handle lol. I also have experience with reptiles, farm animals and exotics too. I’ve taken nutrition courses, I’m certified in CPR and grooming. I’ve taken behavioral classes and poison control courses as well. I know how to administer basically any form of medication, including IV. I love to take pets on walks when they’re in my car because it helps with anxiety and it’s all around enjoyable for us both! I may be small, but I’ve managed to walk two huskies and a pit bull at once, multiple times so personally I feel like that’s impressive lol. I take them out for many potty breaks and I understand accidents happen in the house or car sometimes as well, so I use all natural cleaners when needed. I like to give many updates, weather it’s for drop ins then I’ll let you know when I arrive and leave and send pictures in between. If I’m house sitting I’ll send random pictures and updates through out the day/night and if for whatever reason I have to leave(to the store or to get food) I also let you know. And house sitting is the same. I also have my mobile grooming kit with me at all times too so If you think your baby needs a bath, their nails cut/grinded down, teeth cleaned, or even fur colored(100% vegan and animal safe dye only) please feel free to let me know any time. I have a simple form that I ask for you to fill out during our meet, it’s just basic questions like food schedules, any allergies, medication information(If applicable) vets information and misc. things You think I should know. I have had many people even just write me a care sheet which also works. I prefer the form/care sheet method just because everything important is right there so if eliminates any room for error. I make goodie baskets for new clients as well as the end of each visit I leave a little report card you know exactly how amazing they did! I make the treats in the baskets from scratch even if they have an allergy I can accommodate! I can make treats for all animals as well. And if we are going for a walk, I like to keep in inside my gated community where there’s hardly any traffic and there’s tons of grass to sniff and enjoy! I myself have a fensed in yard for everyone to roam and play, but still always being attentive and making sure everyone is safe too!

“This was my first time ever needing a dog sitter who wasn't a family member or friend and having my current 6 month old timid velcro puppy means that I had to be extra wary of where I leave her. When Anya and I met Audra during the meet and greet we were able to chat for a while and I felt totally comfortable explaining my own concerns and Anyas needs of patience and time. Audra was able to address them all and the answers she gave made me feel she would be a great fit. Dropping off my puppy was hard but it was easier knowing that someone who seems to really love dogs and was capable of accomodating a more timid dog had her. I was able to get updates throughout her daycare stay and when I picked her up she seemed perfectly fine and elated to see me. Driving home she was plum tuckered out and napped but when she got back home Anya was back to her regularly scheduled trouble. I gave her a look over and saw no issues and behavioral wise Anya acts as if she had never been gone at all. Afterwards I asked Audra some questions about Anya and how she did to follow up with her dog training and received prompt responses that will help me make sure that this timid pup continues to thrive and grow in confidence. If I have to find someone to watch her again or need an overnight boarding I will definitely see if Audra is available first.”

About: Hey dog lovers, My name is Alexis. I started walking dogs when I was 12 for the elderly and I loved it because I was helping people who are not able to walk or people who don't have time. Around the same age, I did volunteer work at the SPCA. I don't have the time to have a dog of my own full time (let's face it, they are like kids). I was raised around dogs in my youth and took care of them all my life, so i have plenty of experience. I also have been walking for WAG for 4 years and have a 5 star rating.
